Worst installation and custom service from BestBuy

The water was leaking from the fridge on the floor right after the installation folks left. They connected the fridge and left immediately without explaining or warning us. And no one cared to come back to fix the leaking immediately when I called the store right away. They kept saying it takes 1 week to send people to fix the problem they created. Especially when I said it’s an emergency and the water was leaking badly. We had to pry to some third party folks to fix the problem which was additional cost to us. It was an extremely frustrating experience after buying such an expensive refrigerator.

Very disappointed. It's very disheartening to see a product that you spent so much money on quit on you in less than 2 years.

Avoid at all cost. Poor quality and horrible cs

Out of the gate the handle packages is wrong which appears to be with out a solution as neither Samsung or Best Buy understand how it got messed up or how to fix it. The interior is very cheap. The lighting inside is poor. The precious model was mostly stainless this is all plastic. The interior is also small for the cubic size. Not sure why but compared to our other Samsung you cannot store as much in it and it’s the cubic fit. I would not recommend this fridge or any Samsung fridge. The return on investment is not there

It smells rotten.

The Family HUB feature still has the previous owners' data and pictures. It looks like it was not just an open box, fridge looks and smells it was just for a long time by the previous owner.

Great Purchase

We upgraded from an old G.E. model that came with the house and was 14 years old. The lines on this fridge are clean and smooth and the stainless steel finger resistant finish is one of the best I've seen. I love the interior make-up and design. The software is very good and easy to merge with your internet Wifi. The Smart Things app is very good but the Family Hub Fridge app is giving me the blues in trying to implement it. Have to call the Geek Squad. Overall, this is a very good purchase and I'm very pleased that I made it.

Fun, looks great, but TERRIBLE temperature control

We loved the family hub, the looks, the deli drawer — it’s a stunning fridge! Only problem is that from about month 4, we have had serious issues with temperature control in the deli drawer (the worst) and the freezer (pretty bad). Sometimes the deli drawer won’t get below 45 degrees F, and good goes bad. Same goes for the freezer, except that it hovers around 31F. Some of our freezer items thaw a bit, which leads to terrible freezer burn. Contacted Samsung about it, and their recommendation is to turn off the unit for 5 minutes, then turn it back on. It works, but the problem comes back days later. It’s a pain. For the price we paid for this fridge, I expect more. Maybe it’s the counter depth version, maybe it’s the deli drawer, I’m not sure, but I would not buy this unit again, and would seriously warn others from buying it. We like our other Samsung appliances, so not trying to bash Samsung, but this fridge is terrible.

Defective ice maker
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ice maker keeps getting broken and the main problem is you pay a very expensive warranty but when the warranty is over you have to pay a lot of money very often to fix the ice maker over and over and over. They do not exchange the fridge since the ice maker is not considered a lemon only mechanical failures are considered a lemon. If I had known this, I wouldn’t have bought such an expensive fridge from Samsung.

Buyer Beware! Moneypit!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I paid approximately $3,368.94 for this refrigerator on 7/11/2020 that included the 3 year Geek Squad peace of mind. To no avail I have wasted my precious time on the phone every time I had to call in with ice maker issues water leaks since 8/31/2022. Issues from icemaker lasted until 2023. In 2022 I started to have panel issues with screen lock up, resetting the unit and screen systems not updating. It's 2023 and my warranty expired. Guess what my screen display panel is frozen, locked up can't access. I paid $144 for the service technician to come out and tell me that I will need to purchase a new panel for the lovely price of $633! So current decision because the refrigerator starts to breakdown post the 3 yrear warranty at what point do I the customer cease from putting more money and time into a lemon, money pit? That would be now as this is something that Samsung should compensate me for considering the series of events and issues I have had and the initial piece of mind invested.
