I'm very disappointed with Samsung and Best Buy. I got the fridge today and it was missing the ice maker drawer. I called Best Buy and was told to call Samsung. Samsung required me to fill out forms and email my receipt and told me they would contact me in two days. Then they will ship the missing part. I might get it in a week or so. Really??? They couldn't overnight me the missing part? I have to do all the work, Best Buy was "oh well your could have broke it". I haven't even turned it on. What happened to customer service?????

The refrigerator is the best I've owned. I was unsure of the counter depth, but my kitchen is narrow and my old one stuck out. I enjoy that it is not as deep. We are able to see every thing in there, so there is less food waste. It seems like it holds the same amount of food as my larger fridge. Great construction and it is beautiful.

For the first year, we loved the fridge. In the last 3 months, the ice maker has jammed three times. It's poorly designed and cannot handle the capacity of ice it makes, causing dams. It takes quite some time to correct this.

I was so excited to get all new Samsung appliances. This review is based only on the refrigerator. I only gave it 3 stars primarily for two reasons, though there are many other small complaints. The first major issue you need to know, is that black stainless steel DENTS, very easily! This is our first experience with anything but stainless steel, and it rates poorly compared too two prior stainless steel refrigerators/appliances. We have dents, minor, but still, in places you can't even figure out how they got there. So be careful, they are not as durable as regular stainless steel. Secondly, the ice maker breaks, a lot. Like they say they tubing gets compressed too much, and it causes it to leak water inside the refrigerator as well as outside, when you get ice, water always comes out first. We have had ours repaired twice in under a year. And, the ice maker is small, or it just doesn't work right, and we run out of ice regularly!! The few positives it has, looks great, somewhat conducive to storing things, as far as you can move shelves and stuff, do NOT come close to the headaches and negatives we have had. We loved Samsung, till we got their appliances, now, would honestly never buy a Samsung appliance again. ( The double oven is the only exception, not the microwave or the dishwasher are worth the money either.). Sorry, just don't want others to save up and be disappointed as we have been. Good luck!

Looks really good, quiet operation, well lit interior, and fully adjustable shelves. Its been a great addition to my new kitchen, you will love it.

Had to buy a new counter depth when our old GE packed up. After a lot of research, we picked this model. Great, plenty of space not noisy. Had a set-up "issue": the water dispenser dripped for a couple of hours, but after the first batch of ice was made, the drip stopped (must have needed to draw water through all the pipes to seal the system). Best Buy delivery was fantastic. Delivered early in the window we were given (unheard of), and carted the old fridge away being extremely careful of our property. Would definitely recommend!

Let me be the first to say this fridge is everything great for a family of four. First off you can get a whole pizza box in the thing due to the fact that there is no middle wall separating the freezer so much better functionality! Then you can fill a pitcher of water so fast and the ice maker is just great. You can make a lot of ice, and it keeps coming. I love that!

I've had this fridge replaced by Best Buy and am going back to the store to pick out a different make/model (likely LG this time). I even had their geek squad come check it out before replacing the first unit, and the tech said it was a noisy compressor and to get the fridge replaced. We did, and the second fridge was even noisier. The compressor runs very often, and when it starts it sounds terrible and loud (even freaks out our cat), and then it makes a continuous rattle sound as the motors whine during the cooling cycle. Incredible piece of junk that is way over priced.

This refrigerator is very sleek and beautiful I purchased it Jan of 2016. The style and size are great. Buyer beware! The produce drawers get food stuck in the crevasses and you cannot take the drawers apart without cracking the cheap plastic it is made of. The cold cut draw cracked after 2 months, Samsung replaced it. The worst part of this refrigerator is the Ice Maker. It doesn't make enough Ice, then it broke completely then the fan was overheating melting the ice and water was dripping inside the Refrigerator. Then Ice Frost began in the freezer, freezer burn on all my food. Samsung did nothing! I purchased the Geek Squad coverage and finally after almost 6 months with no Ice, I was approved for an exchange. Folks do your self a favor, buy the Geek Squad Protection Plan if your are buying anything with Samsung name! I'm looking for recommendations on a reliable American made brand. Feel free to comment.

The ice maker (which made the best ice), electronics panel, and insulation pieces between the doors broke within 3 months of purchase. Go American.

When moving, we researched fridges extensively. We wanted a counter-depth fridge, which limited our options. After reading the reviews for this Samsung fridge, we went ahead and pulled the trigger hoping to avoid the same problems others have had. GeekSquad got it installed with no problem. Unfortunately, one day later, the ice maker broke (stuck making crushed ice no matter what setting is on). The crushed ice is also extremely slow, and as others have mentioned, it stores a small amount of ice. I tried to remove the ice maker, even working with Samsung support - but the bucket won't come out. Best Buy is replacing this one, but we're tempted to go ahead and exchange for a new fridge while we have a chance.

Please be aware of a problem that most Samsung products suffer from. Our three door refrigerator, that is only five years old, had one of its door handles break while trying to open it. The part, which holds the pin that holds the door handle, broke. The plastic part IS NOT REPLACEABLE. That means that if this part breaks, you have to buy another complete door. There is nothing wrong with the door other than this weak plastic part. The plastic part that failed probably costs a buck or two to make and maybe twelve dollars in a store, if it was sold, now costed us $300. It seems that during design and assembly, SAMSUNG has placed a PLASTIC part that is not repairable and the customer is responsible for their mistake. Custom services' response was that there was nothing they could do because my refrigerator was not under warranty. Since my fridge is five years old, a warranty wouldn't have helped anyway. Your concern should be that SAMSUNG's products have these parts in them. If your spending your hard earned money on SAMSUNG products, your depending on the SAMSUNG name and reputation to help its customers out when one of their products has failed. This is a design flaw by SAMSUNG. SAMSUNG should take responsibility for their mistakes.

Only lasted 4 years and three Icemakers when the freezer stopped working and cost over a $1000 to fixed I bought a new fridge and will never buy another Samsung again. I'm in the process of replacing my Samsung dishwasher that has never cleaned well for day one leaves dirt residue on the glasses and plates you have to wash them after the dishwasher is done by hand. So I am done with all Samsung products!

Purchased new from Best Buy 7-31-2015. Ice maker stopped working 7-5-16. Called Samsung warranty 7-6-16. They said they would call back within 24 hours. No return call. Called Samsung warranty 7-8-16. Was put on hold for 10 minutes. They agreed to send a service person a week later (7-13-16). Service man showed up and said it wasn't under warranty (purchased less than a year ago). We called Samsung again and they finally the repair mans trip that didn't fix it. The Ice maker broke again a week later(It isn't fixed). Samsung at this point says they wont fix it (awaiting call). We purchased the extended warranty and paid full price for the fridge. Best Buy says "There is nothing we can do" . Neither Best Buy or Samsung will stand behind this refrigerator - at less than a year old with purchased extended warranty. Order # BBY01-738594007124

Samsung - 22.5 Cu. Ft. French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator with Cool Select Pantry - White. The refrigerator is very pretty and I love that it is counter depth. I bought it to replace an old refrigerator. I like the ice and water on the outside and the layout of the entire refrigerator is very nice. It is compact but it keeps things very organized. I have had it a couple of months now and could not be more pleased.

Replace my old refrigerator with this new one the black stainless steel from Samsung is absolutely beautiful the best in my opinion.. this frigerator is about the same size of my last one except with the French doors I find I have twice the room for food. Very quiet.. does not run nearly as much as my last one.. ice maker works perfect and saved on my utility cost.

The home we moved into did not have enough counter depth for a larger model. We were not happy that counter depth refrigerators, which are a little smaller than some of the others we were wanting, came with a higher price tag. Fortunately, this model was on clearance to make room for newer models and we picked it up for under $2,000. After 6 months of use, the Samsung seems to be a good product... So, I would have given it 4.5 Stars, but the system did not allow that. Just wished we would have had a deeper space, as the nice looking fridge did require us to give up storage space we were used to. Fortunately, our kids are grown and we don't need as much room.

The Samsung french door refrigerator has much more storage space than the side-by-side version. I like that it has an extra space for platters so you can have them ready to serve with no hassle! I bought the counter depth french door and it's worth every penny! If you can afford counter depth go for it!

The fridge is really nice, but the ice maker is rather small. If you have a large family who likes a lot of ice in their drinks, this may be problematic.

When we bought this fridge, we knew we wanted a good ice maker. The sales guy recommended this particular type of ice maker where it's inset in the upper left of the fridge. Turns out, this is an awful design and ice maker. About once every 3-4 months, the ice maker breaks down and warms up just enough that ice no longer is produced in cubes; it create a block of ice, making the ice maker useless. Fortunately, we bought the warranty, but they come out, replace the ice maker (sometimes the mother board as well), knowing full well that it will break again. Once we had a Samsung repair guy come out and tell us that this is a 'known issue' and that Sumsung will not replace the fridge. It'll just keep happening. The rest of the fridge works fine, but the ice maker is a lemon.
