This Samsung refrigerator has a lot of very good qualities, such as great lighting, easy access, nice drawers/storage, and smooth quiet efficiency. But I will not rate this as excellent, as the biggest drawback is the ice maker. It doesn't produce as much as our previous refrigerator, and when it dispenses, it spews it out a bit erratically. Also the water dispensing is bit strong and can splash out of your glass, especially if you have ice in it already. The engineers need to go back to the drawing board on the ice maker/water dispensing design.

The choices for a stainless steel counter depth refrigerator were not extensive, but I trusted the reviews and Samsung brand. I would agree that there are times (not all the time) that it is louder than I would like. Initially, I was nervous that I was not able to see how much ice was available (especially when we are entertaining). However, that has not turned out to be an issue, but we have not put it to a large gathering test. I love the French door model and conveniences of retractable shelving and freezer organization.

I read up on this refrigerator on several sites prior to my purchase. I was mostly concerned about the smaller capacity due to counter depth size. Turns out that isn't an issue. My previous refrigerator was 25.5 CF and this unit is actually seems larger because it has more configuration options! Thrilled with its efficiency. Only downside is the water dispenser - angled toward the left rear of the dispenser area. Once I got used to it, it was fine.

We were in need of a counter-depth refrigerator for our condo. I shopped online first and was happy to see a number of choices. I went to the store and saw it and it was just what we were looking for. And we caught a nice sale. Install was smooth with no issues.

This fridge is exactly what my wife was looking for. There is plenty of storage in the fridge and she can get whole heads of veggies into the drawers!! We chose the counter-depth option because it allows the fridge to look integrated into the kitchen rather than sticking out like a normal fridge.

Love the refeigerator, but the ice maker tends to spit ice in odd direction, sometimes not in the glass. Pretty annoying. Otherwise all working great so far

Refrigerator went out Thanksgiving week and needed one like now! Researched what was best for our needs (must be counter depth) and the Samsung fit the bill. Not only could Best Buy deliver the soonest, they had the best price and and most courteous service. Perfect size and layout inside. Couldn’t be any happier!

It's a refrigerator alright. Looks great, easy to use display. Use to have a side by side and I didn't have enough space in the freezer, this one gets the job done with space to spare. Excellent lighting in the fridge and I really like the digital temperature controls. The power freeze feature definitely comes in handy when you have to "flash freeze" stuff. (It's not a real flash freeze feature I know but lets call it a quick freeze). This fridge lost a point due to the wasted space in the door for the ice dispenser. Otherwise a great fridge so far.

The refrigerator fits nicely in the counter depth frame. It runs quietly and with two separate cooling controllers, it keeps the upper and and lower compartments at the right temperature. I especially like how well it keeps the deli meats at the perfect temperature and humidity.

Only had this fridge for a month, but so far so good. The freezer is smaller than I thought it would be. But it seems to be fine. Needed a counter depth fridge and this one fit the bill.

The Samsung refrigerator has some great features including a deli drawer, adjustable shelves and huge freezer with several compartments. Individual temperature setting prevents spoilage. I can’t believe how long dairy and fruits keep! Very pleased with how much it fits. Easy to keep clean inside. Got the counter depth and it isn’t bulky in my small kitchen. Looks practically built in.

We love this refrigerator! It keeps everything at exactly the right temperature, there is ample space (which I was a little worried about), and it is very attractive inside and out. The one thing we really don't like is the ice maker. First, most times when I push the lever for ice, some water comes out into the glass. Second, it cannot decide whether it wants to dispense cubed or crushed ice (IT decides, not you, no matter which button you push), so it typically dispenses its own patented combination that I call it "cushed" or "crubed." It's not a huge deal, but it is annoying. Oh, and one other annoying thing, which I did not think would bother me, is the yogurt/cheese/cold cut drawer which requires that both doors be open for you to access items in there. Other than those two things, we love this refrigerator and hope it lasts a long time. Once in awhile, I can hear ice being dropped into the bin, but that is pretty much the only noise this appliance ever makes. It is QUI-ET!

Very happy with this purchase. It fits perfectly in our new kitchen space. There is nothing we don't like about it. Makes plenty of ice and keeps everything we need at our fingertips. Would highly recommend.

We purchased this Samsung to replace 12 year old Kenmore. We needed counter-depth due to space limitations. As all other appliances in our kitchen are LG, we were initially focused on an LG product. The salesman at BestBuy recommended we look at the Samsung. After doing some on-line research we were sold. This is a beautifully styled fridg that has all the right functionality -- cold, quiet, spacious and plenty of ice. This my first refrigerator with freezer on the bottom feature. I was concerned that things would become lost in the bottom of the drawer, but so far no problems there. Overall, we are very satisfied with this purchase and recommend the product most highly.

The form and function of this fridge overall is great...but it is among the noisiest I've ever owned. Space is great for counter depth. Freezer has deep pockets, a tray that starts as you open the big drawer so you don't have to hunt blindly, and lights on the bottom of the fridge doors to help...the lighting throughout is plentiful without being obnoxious.

The counter depth, French doors, and bottom freezer make this a very convenient fridge.

I have never had an opinion on a fridge in my life. They just stand over there and keep stuff cold. After having this one eight weeks I am shocked how much I love it. So much better than a side by side. It seems to hold more and bigger stuff and is much easier to get in and out of. I now own 5 samsung appliances, really sold on the quality

easy to set up and very quiet. the surface is hard to keep the fingerprints off.it is roomy and well lit. a step up from my old one.

I have very small doors in my house but I also wanted a refrigerator with French doors, a water line, and an ice maker-- my pickings were very slim. Luckily this counter-depth fridge was available! I reallly lucked out. There are many compartments with removable and adjustable levels. So space is not limited. The stainless steel finish gives the fridge a very sleek and simple look. I am very happy with my purchase.

Our living area is upstairs and the refrigerator was dropped during delivery. Best Buy was excellent in their customer service and the second one was delivered quickly. It was on an additional sale at the time of delivery and we received a refund for the price difference. Our kitchen is open to the rest of the living area & we are delighted with the quiet operation.
