This is my first experience with a french door refrigerator. I like the way it is setup but there are some disadvantages over a side by side model. The space inside the refrigerator is small and difficult to use for tall items but I did purchase the counter depth model. Use of the full length deli drawer is a little inconvenient because you have to fully open both doors. My major complaint is that this fridge is NOISY, so noisy that I called a service tech out to listen to it. I was told that this is just how noisy the new fridges are based on the types of compressors used today. One of the reasons I bought the new fridge was because my 12 year old fridge started making some compressor noise -- it was quiet compare to this one. If you want to purchase this fridge just be prepared for the noise.

I've had this refrigerator for 3 months now. I was debating between the Samsung and the LG. I chose the Samsung because of its nice look. I don't like the fact that if you open the left door where the water is you have to open the right door as well. Also the ice maker makes an extreme amount of noise. After you get ice water continues to drip out of the ice chute and makes water spots all over the ice area. If I were to do it again I probably would not have chose Samsung and went with LG.

I was almost able to leave a positive review. This fridge works fine for the most part. The French doors are a bit uneven. That was my only complaint until this weekend when the ice maker started freezing up. I guess I'll have to wait and see on this one. Do yourself a favor and avoid Samsung.

This is our second Samsung fridge of the same model. Bought a warranty from Best Buy on the first one. They stood behind the warranty to the point that they replaced it. The problem with this fridge is the ice maker. It will make ice but it not quite solid cubes. It is a cross between crushed and cubed. For every cube you get, you get pieces along with it. All other features of this fridge work well. Bottom line is, buy a warranty. Icemakers are the number one service call for fridges.

Fridge looks nice, works well, temperature is constant in both the fridge and freezer. The big challenge is what Samsung calls an ice maker. It is horrible. Cannot reach in and grab cubes, only in the door, and even then, takes too much time. It is so bad, I will be purchasing a countertop ice maker. Not sure how Samsung missed this so bad, had the store been hooked up to water, would not have purchased a Samsung.

The overall design of the refrigerator is great, stylish and very functional. The reason I have only given it 3 stars is due to the various noises it makes when running. My previous built in, counter depth refrigerator was not near as loud. If your unit will be close to your family room, I would probably consider something different. I am also a builder and I have built houses with many types of counter depth units and none have been as loud as this Samsung. Other than this, it is a great refrigerator.

Very quiet compared to my other Samsung fridge. It also looks great in my new IKEA kitchen. I do wish the freezer was a little larger

First one was a lemon. Best Buy replaced. Second one is fine. Love the design except for icemaker. It's very difficult to remove. Thought it was just the first one which was a lemon overall, but it's not. My husband can barely even remove it.

The refrigerator looks beautiful & the shelving is very functional. I love that the lighting is bright. The only issue is that the refrigerator does not cool evenly. The top shelf reaches the chosen temperature, but the door & other shelves are at higher temperatures. Some of our dairy was going bad so we exchanged it for a new one. This one has the same issue with the difference in temperature, but we've had it for a week and nothing has gone bad yet. We'll see if it still doesn't go bad in the next week or so. The lowest temperature is 34 degrees. Our old fridge used to turn the top of some of the food icy when lowered to the lowest setting. Even at the lowest setting, this refrigerator does not even come close to being that cold.

the freezer tray jams and is difficult to slide back which restricts the access to the bottom freezer bins. The ice maker is noisy-not from making ice but when it drops into the bin. Ice crusher not working well. followed adjustment instructions with minimal improvement.

We had the fridge for two weeks when we needed a service repair to fix the plugged ice bucket. Apparently this is a common problem with Samsung fridges. Not happy that this will most likely keep happening. Otherwise fridge works well and is quiet.

Ice maker makes very little ice and does not store much which is very disappointing. Overall, it has a decent size. The water dispenser is very slow which is frustrating.

Love the way this fridge fits into the space. But Doesn't make enough ice. I'm the only one that uses ice and will be out by the evening.

We were forced to buy the counter depth due to the builder having such a small space allotted for a fridge. It does the job just very small than what we had. Freezer door barely comes out enough to get bulky things out like an ice cream container.

Ice / water dispenser makes a mess, and you have to press hard and in a specific way for it to work. Inside is well designed though.

Everything is great - but the ice maker - Froze up in 2nd year of use and now is completely useless.

One of the shelves is a bit warped, causing the "half" shelf to not operate properly unless you take the shelf completely out of the appliance, realign it, and hope it holds that position until you can get it into the appliance. Also, exterior ice maker has numerous scratches (from manufacturer or delivery?). So far, a bit of a disappointment for the $$ spent!

Bought this fridge on black friday and had it delivered early December. So far it has been working well with no issues. My two biggest complaint s about this fridge is the size of the ice maker I have an ice tea maker and the fridge only produces enough ice for half a batch with the ice tea maker. The second issue is that the front of the fridge is not magnetic, not a deal breaker by any means but annoying that we cannot hang a calendar / photos / lists on the front of the fridge.
