This is our second counter depth french door refrigerator, but our first Samsung. Let me start by saying the look of this refrigerator is stunning. My wife loves the no handles idea because that means no broken nails when she cleans it. With that being said it does attract more finger prints, but they easily wipe clean with stainless steel wipes. The interior is bright and roomy and they made use of every inch of space. The continuous fill water pitcher in the door is nice, although not necessary. We love the Flex-zone drawer and use it for items we need often. The bottom freezer is not huge, but it's big enough for the 3 of us. The only 2 draw backs I can think of would be that the ice maker doesn't make or hold enough ice and the finger print issue. Other than that, so far this has been a great refrigerator. Also, Best Buy's sales and delivery team were great.

I love the refrigerator, and the middle drawer is great. However, after a year we started having trouble with the ice maker backing up. We have to thaw it out with a hairdryer and chip the built up ice away. Now I am at two years and it's happening more often so I finally called and have a service tech coming out to address it. Samsung customer service was easy to work with. Other than that, we have enjoyed this refrigerator.

This refrigerator is very aesthetically pleasing. It has a beautiful and sleek design that makes it feel like a luxury appliance. But, for the price the ice maker freezes over too often. The ice maker also takes a long time to make the ice and it doesn't make much. It seems like all of the money went into the look and design of this appliance and not so much the functionality. The filter is also expensive and hard to find. It needs to be switched out every 6 months otherwise it impairs the function of the refrigerator. Wouldn't buy it again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We purchased this Samsung counter-depth refrigerator nearly three months ago, and so far, so good! A few caveats before the positives— We were extremely limited as to what we could purchase, unless we wanted to spend $7000+ or rip cabinets/molding apart in our kitchen. We really only had a few makes and models to choose from. Did TONS of research, and spent at least an hour in person in a full Best Buy showroom in a major city before buying. Would have probably made a different (and poor) decision if we had not looked at, opened/closed, touched the fridges. So, definitely take your time! Everything we researched has complaints. We were replacing a nice refrigerator that broke long before it should have. Ultimately, it’s a gamble, no matter what you choose. We bought Best Buy’s extra warranty. Now for the good—It is beautiful, sleek, and modern- looking. Absolutely silent, keeps everything really cold. Makes and dispenses ice perfectly. The way the shelves and compartments are laid out is great. Plenty of space, considering the fridge is not huge. The flex drawer is nice, and there is a cool water pitcher inside that self-fills. This is in addition to the water dispenser on the outside of the door. The whole unit feels high-end. The purchasing and delivery process was seamless. My only complaint would be that the freezer drawers are a little clunky and don’t slide well. Other than that, we could not be happier. Fingers crossed that everything on the unit remains working as is for a very long time.

I have pushed away writing this review now enough. I rarely write any reports, but wanted to share my experience with others. Initially I compared all possible fridge brands and I had clear spec in mind. Samsung had the best feature set, but I was a bit put of by many bad reviews I run into in the web. Especially on models similar to this that seemed to have challenges with the ice machine. I then learned that the ‘icebox’ inside the fridge had been changed and is not anymore causing trouble. After learning this one is fixed, the one feature that made me pick the fridge was the internal water cannister that prefills automatically filtered water. That has been clearly the best feature ever. Our tap water tastes chlorine, but with this cannister there is always cold fresh water to drink for dinner table or to make a pot of coffee. Also the middle section is very handy e.g. for wines or some foods that you need often i.e. one do not need to open the main doors, but just pull out the middle drawer. When I purchased the fridge I got the extra coverage for 2-3 years, but have not needed a single time. I can truly recommend this fridge to anybody looking for high quality and feature rich.

We were concerned about choosing a counter depth refrigerator, but it turned out the space and features in this one made up for any perceived loss.

We had to get a countertop depth refrigerator due to the kitchen layout. This refrigerator is modern, clean, and has sharp edges. Also love the flex drawer. Only issue is it filled up quick for only 2 people. Not for a large family.

We bought this unit as a replacement for a <3 year old LG and were thus skeptical all new refrigerators were made of poor quality. After extensive research we decided this unit might be a safe bet. So far we've been very pleased, the middle drawer is very handy, we've gotten used to the fact the unit has no handles, and the space is very adequate for our needs. The Best Buy installation was flawless and we've been pleased overall.

I love a lot about this fridge but there are some issues. It has a perfect amount of space and the water dispenser works well. I use the water canister inside the fridge all the time, very handy. I did have an issue with ice getting stuck and melting out but that doesn't seem to be a constant thing. Another issue is that the freezer drawer is continuously falling off the track and getting stuck. I also wished the doors either stayed wide open or shut on their own. They stop halfway and it just becomes a pain a lot of the time. These have been minor, overall a great fridge....on the expensive side.

purchased and installed on 9/2/19--Ok, I'll be totally honest--this Samsung fridge is replacing another that lasted less than 11 months! I am worried, understandably, that this one won't last. I chose this one for a few particular reasons-I needed counter depth and no handles in order for it to fit in my kitchen. I fine that it is roomy and super bright inside. The LED lighting is amazing. I love the freezer, and I wasn't sure I would like it. I thought it might be hard to access things in drawer with pull-out drawers inside. But it is actually very efficient use of space. The bottom section is nice and deep, so I can fit large items, like a frozen ham or turkey. The upper freezer section fits shallower items like boxed meals and pizzas. The flex space is amazing to have--I can switch from freezer to fridge to wine cooler depending upon needs. It is a beautifully designed, very modern looking fridge. I did not need or want the family hub, so this one had every bell and whistle I wanted. One word of caution--there is a small pitcher with an infusion tube in it inside the left door. I have read from others that this pitcher is NOT DISHWASHER SAFE and will melt in high temps of the dishwasher. So, just be aware to avoid ruining it. I haven't even used mine yet. In the event that I have a problem with this unit, I will update my review.

Our previous refrigerator was a counter depth side by side. This new counter depth French door has so much more room. It’s great. Only four stars because of fingerprints. They do wipe off easily though.

This refrigerator was purchased open box for a considerable discount. But let me tell you...that has nothing to do with my glowing review. Although this is a counter depth fridge it has enough space for all our essentials. I really appreciate the pitcher of water that's always ready on the internal part of the door. In addition we've grown to love concept of no handles. All in all this fridge is a good buy for most.

Very nice. Love the ice maker, water pitcher and flex zone. Moveable shelves come in handy and it is very quiet. The finger resistant finish isn't great. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

I've hated the awkward look of the standard depth refrigerator in the new kitchen, but was afraid to give up the storage space. This refrigerator is so well designed, I don't feel the lack. It is easier to see everything in it and the extra drawer is perfect for every day items or, for special occasions, an overflow wine cooler. I'm not missing the handles either, which was a concern.

We love the look, space and functionality of this refrigerator, esp the flex drawer.

So far this refrigerator has been performing as promised. I have thermometers in all of the areas to ensure the temperature is where it is supposed to be. This refrigerator was a replacement by Samsung for one that I had purchased 4 years earlier. That one had ice maker problems that are documented on the internet but have been remedied by Samsung. There was eventually a compressor failure and a couple other problems that prompted them to give me a replacement. The fingerprint resistant finish works pretty well at hiding the fingerprints. I have has the refrigerator for 2 months so my review will only be based on that span of time.

The refrigerator/freezer works great. It is clean, spacious and very functional. The only negative is the ice maker. It is small and the ice sticks together, so the automatic ice dispenser does not always work.

We opted for this unit mostly because it fit perfectly and we liked that it has no protruding handles. We were used to side-by-side, so have had to adjust some to the storage configuration. We've found the freezer consistently cold, and the drawer-over-bins configuration has been fine. Smaller and more likely to be accessed based on visibility items (frozen veg. packets, pizza) in top drawer, bulkier items below. We use the middle drawer for meat, deli meat, cheeses, and romaine lettuce. It's deceptive how much that drawer clears up room in the upper large fridge section, more than you'd think. Its metal divider can limit what you put in there, but it is good at separating items too. It is easily adjustable too, and can even be taken out if you want. We keep large tall items like gallon milk and juice in the shelf for that on the rt. side door, but we have to use the folding interior shelf for additional tall items. That makes access to items in the half shelf behind them awkward, but there's room and it works. We've found that med. tall items (Gatorade bottles, tall cans) can fit in the top shelf in either door and door still close/seal completely. Fruit/veggie bins maintain freshness and, with the meat/deli/etc. in the middle drawer below, those bins are roomy. Nice to see through front for what's in there too. We like the cold water pitcher feature, have used it some for citrus-infused water or tea, but usually just for plain water, very convenient for filling coffeemaker, making drinks, and for setting on table for refills with dinner. The filtration system is very good. The ice maker is not voluminous, we've emptied it filling a pitcher with ice, but we've not found that to be a problem. Unit cools uniformly with no problem. VERY quiet, only noise we've noticed at all is occasional knock of ice dropping into (near empty?) container. We've had no clogging or spillage issues with external ice or water dispensing. Looks good and clean/crisp in interior design. Ice maker set-up is good, though not convenient for removal and direct access. Outside look is clean and unobtrusive. The top is not flat, front area is higher than rear, in case you like to place things up there. Fingerprint-free surface as good as any, you can leave smudges but they wipe off easily. Con: Does NOT have a good designated enclosed shallow butter dish shelf. Instead has an enclosed area box shelf on left that opens on top half, so you'd have to reach in and down to grab a butter dish. We put whole butter wrapped sticks/box in there and then open dish on top of those, to kind of deal with that problem, plus just refrigerate our current butter on the dish less (which butter to be used w/o extended delay doesn't really need refrig. and melts better from room temp. anyway).

good overall. We had some issue with the freezer for the first week but it was fine after I reset the freezing temp. It's supposed to be fingerprint resistant, but it not really.

Fridge has great interior storage. The middle drawer is terrific being able to change its usage (by changing the temperature) from a very cold fridge for meets and fish, to warmer settings for platters, etc. The freezer is a bit cramped and the sliding upper tray does not move far enough out of the way to get to items in the deep bottom bins. I have had to reorganize how I freeze things to work with the unit. All in all, a terrific fridge/freezer. Packs a bunch of interior storage space with well designed modifiable shelves.
