I am so happy with my new refrigerator!!! At first, water was dripping from the dispenser for about the first day, and it had me worried, but it stopped. I’m not sure why that happened, but it’s great now. Plenty of space for everything I need. The flex drawer and the freezer drawer are super convenient! I’ve had it one month now, and there’s not one single fingerprint! Love it!

Purch 12/2015 with extended warranty thru 12/2020. $3K with extend warranty. Ice maker and all components replaced still having ice maker frozen block of ice in the back and melting ice front building up water in dispenser so every time we use it water spill all over the floor. We have to keep a dish towel in the dispense window to prevent water damage to floor. Ext warranty claim history. 7/18/2017 ice maker frozen solid, 3/23/2018 leaking ice maker, 10/27/2018 leaking ice maker 7/22/2019 not making ice, 4/9/2020 leaking ice maker, 6/23/2020 filed claim for buzzing noise in ice maker compartment it was so loud my neighbor head a buzzing sound from my kitchen he was approx 20 feet away in his kitchen. CLAIM DENIED "Noise not covered" - Used youtube to discover the problem replace the fan on my own. Probably broke because of ice build up at the back of the ice maker compartment. *see pic Perhaps the repairs wasn't done properly? However, different companies addressed the ice maker then working maybe 6-9 months before it breaks again very frustrating. I see many had same issues with ice maker and class action lawsuits. Now that I'm out of extended warranty what recourse do I have? Participate in the class action? Hope Samsung fixes this......

Went shopping for a new set of stainless steel appliances, checked them out instore at a warehouse competitor. After comparing at all the big brands (LG, Whirlpool, etc), Samsung's fridge just had all the right features to check off our list. Besides being very energy efficient and just a great looking fridge, we liked: - FlexZone drawer is a great option for frequently used items and don't have to open the main space and let out all the cool air - adjustable shelving options inside the main cooling area makes it easy to change up your storage configuration for your current needs - Samsung's family of appliances for a matching look across the kitchen It's not a perfect product and I would give it 4.5 stars instead of 5 if that was an option for the following: - ice maker function is loud, even when not in use. You will randomly get loud noises from the fridge in the middle of the night when ice is being released inside the unit - ice maker inside the main area takes up alot of space, rendering shelves on that door kinda useless Overall, very happy with the fridge after 6 weeks of use. Great deal by Best Buy, was better than the competition. I would buy this fridge again if given the choice.

We really like the FlexZone Drawer. The refrigerator made a high pitch whining noise the first few days but it cleared up and is running well. The noise returned briefly after a power outage. Best Buy offered to replace it but we opted to schedule a service call. The service technician found nothing wrong with it. Contrary to some other reviews I have read, we don't find the shelving to be very flexible. The icemaker and ice/water in the door work well. All in all, happy with our purchase.

Overall, it have met our expectations. The flexzone drawer is actually more useful then I had thought. It gives easy access to some of those quick and easy snacks for the kids without them opening the doors and searching. The Fingerprint resistant finish as certainly met its match with my 4 year-old, though it does clean up easily. The spacing on the door is a little tight. The shelfs are large and deep, though with the flexzone drawer, the spacing between the shelves is tight making it difficult for tall bottles or jugs.

Delivery was seamless and on time - kudos to Best Buy- they called me 1/2 hour before the appointment, installed the fridge quickly and cleaned up after themselves. The fridge- looks fabulous- got the counter depth at the expense of additional storage space but extremely happy with the dimensions. Does not stick out as much as old fridge giving the illusion of much greater space in the kitchen. Storage compartments make sense for the most part. The bins on the left side where the Ice maker is are a little underwhelming and strangely shaped - cannot put anything but the smallest condiment bottles in those spaces so it is essentially wasted (think the tiny ketchup bottles and jam jars you get on an airplane.) Ice maker and water dispenser work well - ice “cubes” a little smaller than my old GE fridge. Surface dents quite easily - have kids and within the first day the fridge had 3 small dings on it...chalked it up to occupational hazard of having little people - would have been nice to have lasted at least a week before any cosmetic damage though.... One important thing!!!! After we purchased this Samsung fridge we talked to several friends who purchased Samsung fridges and found out that a few had had mechanical issues with the ice maker and cooling that resulted in service calls and in one case, total replacement after 1 1/2 years. Make sure you get an extended warranty!!!! They definitely don’t make them like the old days where fridges chugged along with no problems for 50 years....generally happy with fridge - does the job of preserving food and middle drawer convenient. One star taken off because I had to purchase the additional Geek Squad protection after talking to my friends about their fridges. Note that I purchased the additional insurance after I purchased the fridge. You can go back to Best Buy within the return window and add Geek Squad protection after initial purchase.

We upgraded to this refrigerator from a Samsung side by side. I really love this refrigerator. The deli (flexzone) drawer is the best. The refrigerator part is ample, the deli area holds a lot of cheese/sandwich meats, etc, and the freezer is a good size to store all your frozen goods. The outside is fingerprint resistant and truly is. We have had a very slight issue with the water/ice dispenser dripping a few drops of water overnight but not all the time. I truly like this french door refrigerator.

Actually, I was not going to get another Samsung refrigerator. The ice dropping into the bucket was loud, my other one getting to being 10 years old but refrigerators used to last forever. Not any more! I do like the counter depth, and the FlexZone. I think the ice cubes are smaller so it doesn't make as much noise as my older one did. I do love the black stainless steel -- says fingerprint resistant -- I guess it is but haven't noticed that much. I'm actually very pleased with this fridge!

The good: keeps food cold. Middle drawer is awesome. Side shelves are sturdy and spacious. Really demolishes the crushed ice (although does take some time to get it out). The bad: some ice will stay in compartment each time you operate it and melt into water and come out next time your turn it on. Shelving height distances are not really that flexible. The ugly: nothing it looks great and is a decent value at a sale price point.

I love my Samsung refrigerator. I especially like the FlexZone Drawer and the Counter depth option. I have our drinks in the drawer and it's great having the temp. set specifically set for beverages. I also like the fact I can set the temps with the Smart App on my phone. I also like the counter depth option my kitchen is small this gives us more floor space.

Love the refrigerator and the flexZone drawer. The only drawback is the ice maker does not produce enough ice and is very frustrating, as have lived with a problem ice maker for year and a 1/2. For the money, there isn't enough ice made daily for our family of 3 and we live in the desert.

The RF24R7201SR replaced an 18 year old side-by-side fridge that still works. A new fridge was purchased to provide an updated look to the kitchen, save on energy costs and avoid a breakdown during the upcoming holidays. The decision came down to this model and the RF22R7351SR which was $300 more. The Food Showcase, Showcase shelves with handles, pitcher features and second adjustable inside shelf of the RF22R7351 were preferred by one of us. The deciding factor was the adjustable shelves in the door. The fridge has been very quiet in the brief time we've had it. The dispensed water and icemaker function fine, although the cubes are smaller as is the ice storage. The Flex Drawer is an excellent feature. The LED bulbs provides ample lighting. The adjustable door shelves appear higher quality than many of the fridges we evaluated. The adjustable inside shelf is great for accommodating taller, especially opened items that you want to avoid placing on its side. The measurement tolerance is excellent; beware of the plastic that attaches to the wheels and sticks out at the bottom sides if your space is tight. The cons are: 1) The height between door shelves make placing and removing jars a little more difficult than our previous fridge, especially when the shelves are full. 2) The depth to place a taller object when using the adjustable shelf inside is shallow if using it to hold a gallon of milk. 3) The filter is 40% more than ($35 v $25) the one we bought for the replaced fridge. The Samsung filter cost is based on subscribing to a service to automatically deliver it every 6 months; otherwise, it is $50, double the cost of our previous filter. 4) There is a little bit of an adjustment looking for non-frozen foods when switching from a side-by-side to French Door. The last con is a minor quibble because the learning curve should be short. The true test will be the longevity of the RF24R7201SR. Our previous fridge was half the purchase cost. It had one service call to blow out dust that had accumulated and caused an issue. We also fixed replaced the icemaker without the help of a service tech. The energy efficiency of this fridge will hopefully reduce the operating costs. Overall, this is an extremely nice fridge.

LOVE this fridge! We are so pleased with the room in this fridge, and my family loves the ice and water dispenser. I would absolutely buy this again. The only minor downside is the ice maker. It produces ice and dispenses it, but it struggles to make a lot of ice. Not a huge deal-breaker for our family.

I bought this fridge during the Presidents Day sale. So I got it for a great price. It fits perfectly in my custom built kitchen. The space inside the fridge is enough for my family of two. My only complaint is the use of crushed ice option. It literally spits ice everywhere. My second one is the space in the door its very minimal due to the ice maker on one side. But overall a great buy for a family of two.

Purchased for a new home. Fit very nicely with our cabinetry. Nice finish stays clean for a much longer time than other brands purchased in the past. Easy to clean use soft scrub with a non abrasive sponge. Inside of unit is beautiful and can fit all the food needed. Lighting is superior can find items easily even at night with limited lighting. The filtration system is top notch never have found floating debris in water from bad filtration, water is always cold and crisp. Ice maker works fine. Flex draw is the best feature ever. Watch Ina Garten and she has one and put her recipes in the flex draw while in prep stage without needed covering. I find myself doing the same. Superior for cheeses and cold cuts. Freezer has ample storage. I have never experienced freezer burn. Food products remain as fresh as the day they were purchased. Use the energy saving setting without incident. Find that the only areas of concern are the shelves. Refrigerator shelves are very difficult to remove for cleaning. I had to watch a you tube video to figure how to remove them. They can be difficult just wish they were easier to work with. Freezer has a pull out shelves which can stick. Becomes problematic when looking for items. I believe if the manufacturer used a better glide system it would be much better and user friendly. That being said I would still recommend this refrigerator. Samsung is the best I ever owned, hope to have it for many years to come. Adds a beautiful appearance to my kitchen.

I bought this refrigerator 5 years ago; I have had to replace the icemaker 2 times and the freezer just broke. It is so expensive to fix; warranty is 1-2 years. Do not buy this if you want a fridge for longer than 5 years. Horrible experience with Samsung and the warranty. I should have bought the brands I know like GE, Whirlpool, etc. This Samsung counter depth refrigerator is impossible to clean because water and debris always get caught in between plastic in vegetable drawers. The water dispenser continuously leaks; notice paper towel on my picture. I had my last refrigerator for 12 years and the smaller one I bought for my garage; a GE has outlasted this one at 7 years and pumping like new. Stick to t.v.'s Samsung.

We purchased item this summer.We have enjoyed the space saved with the counter depth size. Its great for couples who are empty nesters an do not have the need to refrigerate alot of groceries. The only thing I wish was different ir the water catch area that sits right under the water an Ice dispenser. I would prefer a tray that catches the drips. An not cause excess to run down the front of the fridge very frustrating. Ither than that I love my new refrigerator an do recommend to others!

I was reluctant to buy a counter depth fridge as I didn't want to lose the space. We've had this one for a month and really don't miss the space. The design of it and the use of the flex drawer as a fridge makes it feel like it has as much space as our last one. This one also has great lighting so you can see everything. Our last fridge always had things pushed to the back that you couldn't see and thus didn't get used and went bad.

This is a really cool looking and functional unit. I get tons of compliments on it. The flexzone drawer is amazing with lots of uses. The only thing I don't like is the Ice maker is basically useless. Doesn't make enough Ice for anything, because there is no space to store it. If you have another source of ice, or don't need much ice, this is a great fridge for you.

This fridge is a meal preppers dream. I love the fact that the middle drawer I can change the setting/temperature than the actual top fridge. It fits wine wonderful and the metal movable divider is a wonderful feature. I also like the shelf that folds up for taller items like wine for example. The shelf that slides under the other half if it is awesome too for when your lunch bag is to tall to fit between the shelves you can push it back out your lunch bag in there and then pull it back out for a regular size shelf. The freezer we have fit a lot in there and I like the fact that you can take the divider out so if you have chicken breats that are fresh and in the longer package you can take it out and it will fit nice. I also love the fact that if you have the fridge open it sings to you once but if it still stays open fridge or freezer the lights start to flash at you as it sings. The fact that you can also hook it to your smartthings app for Bixby is so wonderful. You can change the temperature wherever you are and if your in Arizona during monsoon season and your power goes out there is a setting you click on the app and it gets your fridge and freezer to its previous setting super quick. Another cool feature is for the water dispenser is if you are filling something up and after 1 minute if water is still coming out it will stop. It does that to prevent it being hit by something and it flooding your kitchen. We have had this fridge for about 2 weeks now and it was similar to a fridge we had prior but this fridge.....definitly a must have if you have money to buy a nice fridge but dont want to spend $3,500+
