Love my Samsung 4 door fridge

I have the full size version at my other home and just replaced a working Maytag fridge to get this. Even though it is the same "size", the layout of the shelves & drawers make the space more usable than the Matagorda. My favorite feature is the pull out middle drawer which can be customized to hold beverages, deli platters, or other. I use mine for drinks. It is nice to not open the entire door and let the cold escape just to grab a beverage.

The door storage holds all condiment and dressing jars AND large container drinks like milk, juice and soda. The deli drawer is also perfect for just about anything. We keep the kids' snacks and yogurt as well as tupperware leftovers.

The water trickles out & the ice has white snow on them. This is very disappointing. The plastic drawer seeps just that, plastic. I only wonder how long it will last.

Upon installation it looked it up and it will make UP TO 6.5 in 24 hours. Took out container and it is seriously about the size of a large water bottle. Our family of 4 runsnout of ice daily, scary when you consider its winter and this is a low usage time. It will simply be useless in summer. Looked at my old kenmore counter depth, which i thought had a small container and itnis at least 4 times larger. Thats how small this ice maker is. DO NOT GET IF YOU LIKE ICE. Otherwise the rest of the fridge is fine

Although the ice maker can make 10 pounds of ice a day, it can only hold 2 pounds of ice at a time. Once the ice bucket is full, the ice maker will stop.

I had a Samsung Showcase (side by side) which I replaced because we modeled and wanted Black Stainless. Here's what I don't like about this one. 1) The water and ice are on the same outlet so you have to change from ice to water when filling a glass of water. 2) The ice maker is in the refrigerator so It's not taking advantage of the freezer cold to make ice (I'm sure it will break. 3) The ice maker is sealed so you can take all the ice out to fill your ice chest. 4) Getting access to the freezer is a pain. The good stuff. 1) The refrigerator looks great. 2) Lots of space for refrigerated items.

Icemaker a little small however if it’s only one or two people it’s adequate. Only drawback I see is the plastic shelf in the freezer drawer. It seems to be a little flimsy and when you pull it all the way out it comes off the track.
