It should be in the freezer. We got some water first before the ice came when dispensing the ice. This indicated some melting of ice. We shall see if it becomes a problem.

It has an alarm to let you know when the doors are left open. For some reason the hinge seems to hang and you have to make an effort to close. It could be an easy adjustment but I don’t see it. Also Geek Squad would not install the ice maker house. It’s a brand new house so everything is up to code
