This fridge has more space than I anticipated. I really like that I can see everything in the fridge and nothing gets lost in the back. We are a small family and don't have a whole lot of food to fit in the fridge. I would not recommend this size for a bigger family. I LOVE the showcase door.

Had it now for about 2 months...everything has run smoothly. The small door is a nice feature I use a lot more than I thought I would. Everything is kept cold and consistent (haven't noticed colder spots or such in the fridge like I did with my old one).
Only complaint is that the water dispenser is angled funny so it seems to spill out of the cup a bit at times...fairly minor though.

This is a great appliance. Designed well except the ice maker can't keep up at a party. I love opening the door to acess the milk without completely opening up door and losing excessive cold air. The solid bottom to the top drawer in the freezer drawer is nice as nothing can fall through to lower compartment.

This fridge is gorgeous. Water and ice work well. Space is limited due to counter depth.

We have been pleased with our Samsung refrigerator. I especially like the tall space in the door for water/ice dispensing. You can fit a tall water bottle or pitcher in easily. Also, I was worried about it being counter depth, but there is plenty of interior space and bin space considering the in door access shelves and ice maker. It's done an excellent job of keeping the set temps. I really like the way the filter has been redesigned for easy access in the front instead of in the back corner. It makes plenty of ice and it is really quiet when it runs. You don't hear any humming or buzzing at all.

Only had this fridge for about a month but so far we love it. We especially love the door in door design. Makes it very convenient to get at items we use frequently like coffee creamer, milk, wine, butter, etc. I've read some people don't like the ice maker but I have not had any issues with mine. The ice dispenser can be a little messy if you don't hold the container under it right. When I need large amounts of ice for a party or something, I fill a container several times and store it in the freezer. Overall we are very pleased with this fridge. Hopefully it lasts a long time.

Not what we expected from Samsung

We purchased Samsung based on reviews and specs that other brands couldn't provide for our new space. Overall, we like the look inside and out, but there have been a few hiccups to include slow water line and showcase door not latching/opening correctly; and more recently include ice dispensing, frost buildup in freezer and items freezing in rear of refrigerator. Service repair was able to fix the water line; and we currently await their return for the other issues. This refrigerator fits our family of 4 needs space wise and is definitely an upgraded look for our new kitchen. However, considering the brand and price, we certainly didn't expect to have so many issues.

Horrible!!!! A good deal turned into a disaster! Ice maker freezes up once a week and stops working The seals on this model are cheap and not good! The inside is difficult to clean and the refrigerator is on the small side The bottom shelf has a ridge towards the back so there is unusable space. I tried to contact Samsung and could never get a response I looked on the internet and there are lots of complaints regarding this model especially the ice maker! Drawers are almost impossible to clean Yuck!!!!! Wasted big bucks and the worst part is the horrible fingerprints and marks that never come off and I’ve tried everything!!!!! Don’t buy!!!!!

I like our new refrigerator but think overall I would have been happier if we got the LG. The reason we got the Samsung was because we really liked the double oven range better than the LG and wanted to stick with the same brand with all our appliances. I do really like the food showcase even the little bin on the very bottom. i put my coffee creamers in it. There is really no area for condiments on the side doors which I had been very used to with our side by side so I have had to adapt. Overall it is a good product but not great.

My recent fridge was the LG with the french doors (showcase) and ice/water in door.
I just moved a month ago and needed to buy a new fridge, counter-depth.
We decided to go with this Samsung fridge based off Price, color tone, showcase counter-depth option, handle design.
Unfortunately now after a month of use I realize how much I miss the difference of the water dispenser. LG's is easier, closer to the outside away from the ice slot. This one is old fashioned inside the slot with the ice dispenser slot. I find it inconvenient and difficult at times because the angle the water comes out. The slot for the ice and water area only allows for small and short containers.
Also, Geek Squad has addressed the issue of how the latch for the showcase door isn't snug. If you pull on the handle the two doors have give between each other and make a clunk sound. Samsung has yet to fix an issue. The temporary fix is to wrap tape on the inside of the latch area to reduce the empty space of the latch area. I know it's confusing.
Pro's- Price, looks good, keeps food cold.
I will say that I don't recommend this to a friend only because I would rather spend the extra cash on the LG for the water dispenser. That's the thing I use like 90% of the time.

Aesthetically, this is a great looking fridge. Love the showcase door for easy access without letting out all of the cold air. It does give off a slight hum noise when cooling but not noisy by any means. It does have less storage than our last counter depth whirlpool fridge, however, this does force us to be more efficient with what we keep in there. Otherwise, I would have given this 5 stars.

Very nice counter depth refridgerator!

Very nice counter depth refridgerator. We first had a similar standard depth version of this model, without the showcase door. The showcase door is a great feature! The kids have easy access to the milk several times a day without opening the whole door and letting out all the cold air. It is a little too heavy to put two gallon containers on a single shelf in the door though. We also love the ice maker/water dispenser for the quick and easy access. The ice maker is a little bit slower than our regular depth version. I don't notice the loss in depth as much as the loss of height in the shelves. Luckily, we have the older one in the garage for extra items. So far this refridgerator looks great and has performed very well in the 2 months we have had it. We did get the geek squad warranty just in case there are any issues. (We had a Whirlpool before the other Samsung that had many service calls on)
