And the flexibility of the lower right section is just an added bonus.

Ice maker freezes

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right at the one year mark the the ice maker started building up frost in the unit and wouldn't make ice. Called Samsung as they have had a bunch of problems with this model according to You Tube reviews. Samsung said it was out of warranty and hung up. Now it's in my garage as a extra storage refrigerator since the price of a new ice maker was over $300.00 No more Samsung for me.

Ice Maker is a Deal Breaker

It breaks constantly. We have Geek Squad out here every couple of months to fix the ice maker. It also does not have a meat or cheese drawer, which is more annoying than I thought it would be.

Flex option is a terrific idea

Currently using the flex option as additional refrigerator space and it works great. We really like the recessed handle design, both for looks and because there is nothing sticking out in what has become a traffic area for the kitchen. There is a faint 'gurgling' sound as reported by other reviewers but it is not objectionable. We're very pleased overall.

My super nice salesman at the West Melbourne FL store showed me every refrigerator they had and all the good and not-so-good points about them. He certainly wasn't urging me to the Samsung I gravitated to it myself based on what it did and how it did it. It really is an awesome refrigerator and I'm very glad I bought it.

It is very flexible with the configurable section, giving you lot more fridge space when needed. Also the quick freeze function helps transitioning if you need to use the convertible section. Have been with this refrigerator for a month and love it. Highly recommendable.
