Awful ice maker design for these and other French door fridges, where the icemaker is within the refrigerator compartment versus the freezer. Requires nearly weekly maintenance to break up stuck ice or dethaw. Samsung fridges with these ice makers currently part of a class action lawsuit. TERRIBLE QUALITY AND COMPANY INTEGRITY.

I would not buy a four-door unit again . I would only buy the side my side unit .

Makes a bubbling noise when running that is quite annoying. Otherwise, it's a nice fridge.

As my husband and I are looking for an extra fridge to keep many drinks cold, we stumbled across this fridge and kept going back to it. The only reason why we bought this product is because of the convertible zone. We have 3 kids and my husband loves his sports drinks, this fridge gives us all the room to store all types of drinks. We use the convertible zone for drinks as well and keep small ice cream treats in the freezer for the kids. Overall we've always purchased samsung products and this one was another good investment.

It arrived with a non-working compressor. Was difficult to get Samsung out to repair it so we returned it. It never cooled the moment it was delivered to our house after waiting 2 months for it to be delivered.

Poor quality! It already cracked at the inside of this refrigerator only after 1.5 year purchase! Because the place is behind the drawer. I didn't notice them until I take out the drawer to clean recently.

looked like a nice fridge, compressor went after after 20 months, not worth the repair. got a bosch instead.

I have build in cabinets and searched for a counter depth fridge that would actually fit this space on all side especially the top. I did not want any gaps. This fridge did the trick!! It is the ONLY counter depth that stands 72" tall. Although it is only 22.6 cu ft, It has more than enough room for our needs. We totally have the look we were after and definitely the function with this Samsung. Don't hesitate to buy this one....It is Amazing!!!

Arrive to my house with a bunch of scratches on the doors.

I am writing this review 18 months after having the fridge delivered. We are a household with 3 kids 5 and under, and this fridge has been great for our family. The best feature is being able to have the lower right section set to fridge temp, because we can keep kids waters and fruit in there so they are accessible by the littles without help. The fridge is beautiful, and it's spacious enough to hold everything we need. Like other reviewers have said, we ran into the ice maker problem one time. It froze up and stopped producing ice. Other reviewers have mentioned needing to thaw the whole unit for 24+ hours, but all we did was pull out the ice bucket to allow the fridge temp air to thaw the frozen ice. It only took a few hours. Annoying yes, but not that big of a deal. That's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. About a month ago the top section of the fridge stopped maintaining temperature. We called Samsung, were told they needed to send out a service tech to diagnose the problem at a cost of $185 since we were out of the 1 year general parts/labor warranty. The tech diagnosed the problem as a refrigeration system problem (covered by the 5 year sealed system warranty), so we didn't have to pay anything (not even the above mentioned $185). 3 separate repair visits later (still at no cost to us), we still didn't have a working fridge, and they wanted to schedule one more repair. I called Samsung again, simply asked for a replacement instead of further repairs, and two days later Best Buy contacted me to work out the delivery of the new one and pick up of the old one. In general both Samsung and the service company were both professional, and as long as I stayed actively involved (followed up if necessary) the process has been smooth (although not exactly quick). In general, this is a great fridge, and I am satisfied with how Samsung handled the repair/replacement process. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another high end appliance from Samsung in the future.

this refrigerator stopped working and could not be repaired.

The fridge works great and fits nicely in the kitchen. The temperatures are constant and indicated on the door. The fridge has a good amount of space. I like the French doors and the freezer compartment which is easy to access most everything without digging in though the top portions are shelves instead of drawers. The cons for the fridge are small but I do wish I had paid closer attention to them before as I might not have chosen this machine: No bin for meat/cheese (unless I turn the extra lower section into a fridge). No spot for a butter dish. There is not that much space for things in the doors and one can't adjust those shelves. The left side compartments are completely smooshed by the ice maker and pretty useless in terms of space. The right side is tight for all the taller type sauce bottles/ juices that I have. The shelves in the main fridge are adjustable but it's not that practical to change things from originally configures. But the current configuration really doesn't fit juice cartons that well. I'm still getting used to a smaller fridge and a French door type and haven't quite figured out the best arrangement for things. The slide shelf sounds great but in practical terms you really don't want to give up any space. It's not that big a fridge. Finally, and I knew about this from other reviews: the fridge gurgles and bubbles when the compressor turns on. It's much louder than the "quiet" rating given by Consumer reports. Luckily it's not all the time but when it's gurgling, it's annoying.

I fell in love with this fridge! It looks great! It is BIG! The four compartment configuration is very convenient. It is a little noisy and the icemaker is only fit for a few glasses of ice. The first fridge delivered in 2015 didn't work. The second fridge delivered has worked for two years. It now keeps food between 50 to 55 degrees. Second attempt to fix it is coming up. We have to wait for more than a week for the second repair appointment. If you have to have this fridge: buy the longest maintenance agreement offered, it also comes with a food loss claim provision.

Over all the refrigerator is beautiful But that’s where it stops. The icemaker has been nonstop issues since day one and now no longer works at all, even though it’s been replaced fixed and who knows what else The parts inside the shelves are breaking because they’re made out of cheap plastic Save yourself time, Heartache, And a lot of headaches and just go with another brand

Work normally for 5 years. Then ice maker get frozen out, obviously stop working. Call technician and was informed that this is a very common problem with this model, and it’s 50/50 repairable. Well, for this price I would expect much higher quality.

The fridge is a great design. The shelves on the top are slightly awkward heights, yes they're adjustable, but even after adjusting its hard to utilize the shelves to capacity- a great example is getting a bottle of wine to stand up straight. Also, we bought a floor model, I understand there would be dents and scratches, but it was filthy upon delivery- even after the salesrep promised he would personally clean it. Excellent fridge, poor customer services from Best Buy. (And yes, we called and brought this up and they had nothing to say besides oops.)

I loved the freezer door idea, this was the primary reason for going with Samsung. ALL of my Samsung appliances have been very disappointing. This refrigerator's ice maker broke after only 2-3 months of use in a 2-person household. I finally got them to find a service provider and it was "fixed". Unfortunately, the product itself is defective and it failed again within the same amount of time. I called Samsung and got the runaround, they even said they would refund me completely until I was outside the 1 yr warranty then they laughed and said the department that said they would refund me wasn't authorized. I'm not a cynical person, but his process seemed planned and I vowed to NEVER trust Samsung again. The oven, and dishwasher are horrible too...so very sad for such a large company to behave this way.
