    Typical high-quality Samsung product. We have Samsung phones, watches, TVs so when it came time to look for refrigerators, Samsung was our first choice.

    Bought this side by side frig in Jan 2023 to replace my old Samsung which was very quiet. Thought something must be wrong since it had an irritating intermittent low fog horn like noise. Samsung repair guy came out a few weeks later and said the noise is part of the design. Apparently it's a single cooling unit with a "damper door" that opens from freezer to frig to move cold air around. The damper door makes the noise. Didn't have that in my previous quiet Samsung so I asked Lowes to take it back. They said they needed a "return authorization code" from Samsung. I pursued that with Samsung customer care all the way up to the office of the president. But Samsung won't take it back or let me exchange for a dual cool quiet style. So I'm stuck with this thing. Be careful buying Samsung products
