Customers are enthusiastic about the spaciousness, adjustable shelves, design, and fingerprint-resistant feature of the refrigerator. They appreciate the ample storage space, flexibility in organizing the shelves, and stylish appearance. The fingerprint-resistant feature is also well-received. However, customers have concerns about the ice maker, noise, and water leakage. The ice maker seems to be unreliable and prone to breaking down, while the noise level and water leakage issues have also been reported.

Liking most everything about the stainless steel Samsung french door refrigerator with just a couple of negatives - noisy running sounds which is surprising for a new unit with new technology. My previous unit was a GE Profile which was still running exceptionally well and QUIETLY even at 17 yrs old. Decided to update with stainless appliances and was concerned this was a faulty unit because of the constant noises but found out through further research that most of the French Door styles by all makers have similarly loud running noises. So if you must have French Door design, be ready for a noisy machine. The ice maker is also loud every time it drops a batch of ice into the bin - never heard this from our old GE Profile. Otherwise, lots of space, and I find I better utilize the bottom drawer freezer - i always know everything i have a one glance, and i find i waste much less because i see everything i have available. My old side-by-side was not as convenient as i'd have to pull out each of the five bins stacked on top of each other to see what was stored in each, which i did not do very often. Would wind up tossing things that were forgotten and because of that wound up with freezer because i left them too long in the freezer. So i am saving money with the new bottome drawer freezer setup. That is good!!!

I like the way this refrigerator looks & for the price. There is adequate space on the inside with plenty of shelves. It seems to me that it dispenses ice a little slow. Also it runs a little loud.
I would recommend this to a friend

Our last fridge, Whirlpool Gold lasted only 9 years, was a side by side and needed 4 repair work orders, last one being a nonrepairable lighting module. We then looked for French door and bottom freezer and liked this one. The magnetic doors are great for kids art projects. Their grubby finger prints do show up on the surface pretty easily. The interior is spacious for young family of 5. Interior LED lighting is nice. What bugs me the most however is the ice dispenser. There is only one outlet and you have to press a touchscreen to decide between water or ice. Our last fridge had 2 outlets, one for ice, the other for water, which is much more convenient. But it looks like most fridges now only have 1 outlet. Also the touch screen is a bit tempermental, I have to lightly press a few times for it to select what I want. Also the ice spits outside the cup sometimes despite it being as close as possible to the outlet. Also this fridge is more noisy than our last, not sure if this is typical of French door models or because of the "twin cooling" feature. I am happy that BB PM'ed this model w/local competitor for $800 off MSRP. Free delivery and haul away (old fridge to our garage) is a plus too.

The refrigerator does everything that it says it does. I notice that my fresh produce stays fresher longer than my old GE side by side. It's much quieter than my old GE, too. I absolutely love the layout and the space of this French Door style. I've had this almost 2 months and so far so good. I did purchase the protection plan after reading the reviews of some of the other buyers. I've wanted a French Door refrigerator for a while and decided to purchase from Best Buy for several reasons: the options in makes/models, the price, free delivery, reasonable protection plan price, 18 month free financing. They beat out Sears hands down.

This replaced a high end LG refrigerator which was in perfect working condition but we were switching to Stainless Steel and this refrigerator was included in a package deal. I will start by saying this is a beautiful looking fridge...I was a little bummed that the sides were not stainless but instead a textured grey color but its better than the sides being black like many are. The storage inside was awesome, especially coming from a side by side refrigerator. the middle drawer is great for lunch meats and cheeses and easy for my kids to help them selves to as needed. I read some reviews and people say its a little loud both when the compressor runs and when the ice drops. the ice definitely is louder than my previous LG but its not like ice is always dropping so its not that bad. the compressor is much louder than my LG, in fact I could not ever hear my LG running. However, I dont find it obnoxious or anything and can only hear it when I am standing right next to it. The ice dispensor is a little slow at times which can be annoying...but for the price I think this is one of the better refrigerators out there. I would suggest you look at an LG too if its around this price point but keep an eye on where the ice maker is on the LG refrigerators because they often take a lot of space where as the Samsung does not.

Good design, looks great in our kitchen. Space it provides compared to our old side by side is awesome. Almost double the freezer space we had previously. Ice maker is a little slow and controls are confusing, but we are happy with it the first month. Installation team was great!

I researched and saw many fridges before purchasing. This one is a lovely color (yes, there are differences in stainless steel from brand to brand. Samsung makes a beautiful stainless steel color I think). The french doors are sturdy but not heavy or at all difficult to open or close. It's highly fingerprint resistant (I've barely wiped down the front at all in the first month I've owned this). The lights inside are warm and inviting. The drawers are a great size for your produce, cheeses and other humidity controlled foods and the humidity controls on the drawers make it simple to keep different foods in their ideal settings. This fridge (unlike most stainless steel models) IS MAGNETIC on the front, not just on the sides. All in all, it's very smartly designed and I love the french doors.

I love this fridge...going on 5 years strong and keeps my veggies and fruits fresh. Freezer is amazingly spacious and the water filter and ice maker are always on point.

We just bought a house when we went looking and on top of all the regular moving expenses, we had to get a washer, dryer, and refrigerator, so cost was a big plus for this one. The only thing that I wish we had done was add another ice maker to the freezer because we have run out on several occasions when we have friends over. Also, I have a hard time in the refrigerator with tall items. In order to keep an open bottle of wine (standing up), the retractable shelf has to be slid back. It looks great and it works for now, but do wish we had the time, money, and space when we bought it to get a bit larger one that may have allowed us more space and the ability to keep items in tour sight and more organized.

Rarely do I give a 5/5 rating; this product probably should get one but please read on...
We didn't do a lot of research prior to purchasing this refrigerator however we are a Samsung household which is why we purchased it. Overall, the refrigerator performs well, very consistent temperatures, and really boasts a lot of room for its layout.
Compared to the GE Profile we replaced (2006) this refrigerator is a bit louder; something we didn't initially consider. The noise isn't bad but in a quiet kitchen, you can hear the refrigerator's compressor working; sometimes louder than others BUT again, by no means horrible. I've had it for just over a month now and expect it to be a great performing product for years to come.
I would definitely purchase another Samsung refrigerator in the future...

Overall I’m happy. Pretty good use of space inside the refrigerator. The left inside door space could’ve been utilized better I think. Not a lot of things fit in the spaces. Freezer section is typical and spacious. Ergonomic freezer door handle is a nice touch. Not impressed by the ice maker. It tinkles water a little before dispersing the ice. It also has a hard time making uniform wedge shaped ice - turns out more like a combination of crushed and sad wedges. For this style of fridge with in-door ice and water, the price is good and I can happily live with the very minor imperfections.

Overall, this is a great fridge. My only complaint is the ice maker seems to have a difficult time dispensing whole cubes. Much to my surprise, magnets stick to the stainless steel, where they don't on other fridges. Plenty of room with easily changeable shelves for that one time you have a bottle of champagne that's too tall. Easy-to-use ice and water dispenser with enough room for tall glassware and no strange button to dispense water (I'm looking at you LG fridges). Makes plenty of ice quickly.

I've owned this fridge for about a month now and I'm really happy with how much food I can fit inside as well as the ability to move so much of the shelving around to suit my needs. The installation was fairly simple to do myself even with a copper line (bestbuy would not install a copper line). The freezer is much larger than I originally expected and even though I feel like I've put all the food that seemed to be overflowing out of my old fridge there is still plenty of room in this one!
The water and ice machine work easily and the cool speed functions are super nice in that at the very least make me "feel" like I can control how speedy the ice becomes available! Some people complain about the smaller compartments on the left door that is crowded by the ice machine but I have found use in puting some condiments in these areas.
Ultimately I am very happy with the fridge and I would purchase again!

We bought this Samsung product because we have always trusted Samsung. Three days after getting the fridge strange stains started showing in the finish that looked like rust. WIthin a week the entire freezer door was covered with this brown spots. I submitted a claim to Samsung and have been fighting with them for more than three months. I followed all Samsung's cleaning recommendations including using WD40 but the spots are part of the finish and nthing removes it. The service center Samsung sent said that the finish was a factory defect but Samsung refuses to replace the doors claiming this was a cosmetic issue only. I noticed posts online that show Samsung was replacing these doors at one point even replacing some people's doors two or three times. Samsung knows they have an issue but have decieded not to replace any more doors. I plan to return this fridge back to Best Buy. It is a factory defect and Samsung is not taking any responsibility. I have attached a couple of pictures of the defective finish. Is anyone else having this issue?

The Fridge is spacious! We shopped around for a long time looking for the right balance between price and features and this was a great find for us. Lots of storage and the ability to set temperatures seperately for the crispers is a huge plus. Turning off the ice maker is as simple as a touch on the screen. The deli tray is awesome and you can set it according to what you have in it at the time.
The LED lights are wondreful, lightens everything up, no hidden dark places and not blinding either. The freezer is great, holds temp excellently and the two bins makes storing foods easy. I love the auto pullout bin, everything right there at my fingertips.
The only thing I do wish is that the Ice maker was actually in the door rather than the Fridge. Less parts to break if gravity is used rather than the auger. Other than that, I have no complaints.

The Black Stainless is like jewelry for the kitchen. It doesn't show fingerprints! Everyone that sees it loves it. Highly recommend this color. The refrigerator is great. Would be nice to have an additional ice maker in the freezer in the bottom.

I had a very small refrigerator and wanted something energy efficient that had the perks of the water/ice dispenser and easy viewing as we often didn't see the food and threw a lot of stuff out. This is my first fridge with a bottom freezer and so far I love it! It is so easy to see everything! I love the fridge shelves that flip up and pull out if to quickly accommodate taller items instead of adjusting an entire shelf. It does have a bit of a hum that I am not used to, but it wasn't even enough to drop a star. The stainless steel black is so pretty and looks awesome in our kitchen. I've become a lover of samsung the past year and so far don't have any complaints!

Purchased less than 2 years ago, finally writing review because second kitchen Samsung appliance broke (range). Samsung products look nice, but when 50% of what I purchased doesn’t fully work and honestly my drier doesn’t dry that well either I have to blast the brand. My ice maker freezes and jams and is basically non working. My husband attempted to repair and it broke again immediately. Poor customer service by the book. Anything over 1 year they offer zero help. Despite it clearly being a poor design and on my oven (turns on by iself and changes tempetures rapidly - now controlling use of stovetop at breaker box). Don’t buy Samsung without a extra warranty and a lot of luck. Never again!!!

It is very spacious and the water filter is very good. I drink water from the fridge every day. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that it makes kinda a lot of noise. I know it's minor, but if I'm watching a movie and I constantly hear ice falling and shuffling, it gets annoying. I turned the ice maker off, but it still feels like it makes excessive noise. I've only had it for 2 months. It's a fridge and it works. Best price for this French door style

This refrigerator is very nice It has tons of room. But sticks out past the cabnets in my kitchen and looks kind of ridiculous we measure the height and width not realizing that the depth would be so much different than or old refrigerator. When we inquired about the problem nobody seemed to interested in our problem. Your next question is would I recommend this to a friend. Yes with the instructions to measure of that like I wish the salesman would've told us.
