    Really liked the design and the features - really disappointed in the ice maker. - It clogs up and I have to take a hot blow dryer to defrost the ice make mechanism to "reset it" every other month to get the ice maker working again

    After two weeks of owning my new refrigerator, the icemaker stopped working. Now, it's off and on as far as it making and dispensing ice.

    The fridge works ok, but the ice maker is defective. I had the fridge replaced while under warranty because they couldn't fix the ice maker. Then just after the warranty expired on the new fridge the ice maker quit working again. All Samsung will do is make an appointment for an appliance repair for you and you will have to pay. The repair people will gaurentee work for 90 days then you will need to pay again as the product is poorly designed and cannot be fixed permanently.

    bad ice maker, not much space for jugs or bottles

    The refrigeatror has a very nice look but the icemaker is bad, very small ice capacity and the ice cubes come out all crushed. There's also little space for jugs or standing bottles. The manual is poorly written and incomplete.

    Fridge/freezer good, ice maker bad

    Bought in Feb '17 and got 3 year Geek Squad coverage. They came out twice already replacing the ice maker, last time ~ 6 weeks ago and ice maker stopped working again already. Apparently Samsung has discovered a Design flaw and a lot of parts were exchanged the first time, but obviously this is still not the fix. Fridge and freezer are fine, but we need a working ice maker. Will place another service call with Geek Squad and try to replace the entire fridge, ideally for a different brand. Because of the ice maker, I cannot recommend this fridge, no complaints about GeekSquad, they've been doing good so far

    The fridge is great, seems to work pretty well and there is space for everything; delivery and installation was easy and efficient. But the Ice Maker doesn't work AT ALL and we tried all of the troubles shooting tips. So less than 3 days after having it delivered, we've had to set up a service request to see what is wrong. Seems unfortunate but we will wait to see if they fix/replace it!

    Have had multiple problems with the icemaker leaking and making slushy ice and then the water filter leaked and caused a minor flood on my kitchen floor. Really a very poorly made appliance. Thankfully, I have the 5-year protection plan and the Geek Squad are great. But it's annoying to have to call them every 6 months or so.

    Beautiful size, great lighting inside and looks great but the ice maker makes noise all the time. Really loud, ice falling, ice shifting, etc. I've confused it for someone knocking on the door. Keep in mind if you want this one.

    We have had this fridge for exactly two years now and about a year and a half after we got it we started having problems with the ice maker and had to have a repair man come out every two months to fix it. Water started coming out before the ice and the ice was slushy, it would stop making ice and we would have to wait another day to get any ice at all. When we first got the fridge we had issues with the freezer drawer making a squeaking noise when you open it. We called Best Buy and they did have someone come out right away and replace the drawer. Overall the fridge is nice, it is too bad you can't use the ice maker. For spending the amount of money we spent on the fridge I would like to have my ice maker work. I will not by another Samsung refrigerator.

    The door around the ice maker was delivered three times and still has a small dent - I'm expecting a fourth door that hopefully will be dent free.

    Ice maker drives you mad!

    The frig and freezer are fine after 8 months however the ice maker is terrible! It freezes atleast 3 times a month! When this happened you have to remove the tray and scrap the ice off of the ice shoot. I scrape my knuckles up every time I have to do this! If you dont get the tray set back in properly, it will only give you crushed ice. I have also experienced the tray being frozen to the ice maker making it difficult to remove the already difficult tray. This problem, along with no available repair men that will work on samsung in the area will keep me from ever buying another samsung appliance again! If you use the ice daily as I do, stay away from this stupid frig.

    Refrigerator arrived damaged, once it was finally resolved I love this refrigerator, looks great and works great. The only thing I can say negative is the ice maker is slow at making ice.
