We mainly chose this model for the 3rd rack that can accommodate larger (but still small) items. The 38dBA was a bonus. I've use it once and it did a fine job. It popped open automatically ("Auto Release") to facilitate drying, but I still had to wipe some cups down. This feature can be turned off in the SmartThings app. Also in the app you can choose the drying heat level, cycles -there are many- "dose" of rinse aid, etc. The controls on the machine itself are minimal and honestly I couldn't figure out how to pick a cycle from that, so just closed it and it started. I was not able to connect this device to SmartThings or manually to my wifi the day it was delivered, even though the stove and microwave we got the same day connected immediately. The Bespoke fridge we got the next day also connected right away so I tried again before contacting Samsung and it finally connected. There was an update right away, so maybe that was the issue. Anyway, this is another nice, sleek looking appliance from Samsung.

Review for Samsung Dishwasher Model: DW90F89T0USRAA
Installed by Quality Kitchen Services
After months of research and visiting different appliance stores, I narrowed my choice down to the Bosch Benchmark and the Samsung DW90F89T0USRAA. In the end, I decided to go with the Samsung.
This dishwasher feels like a high-quality unit. The construction is sturdy, the materials look and feel premium, and it adds a beautiful touch to the kitchen.
Features
This is one of Samsung’s newest models. It includes all the common features you’d expect, plus several I specifically wanted:
Interior LED lighting
Wi-Fi connectivity with SmartThings integration
Heated Dry and Auto Door Release
Extremely quiet operation
Front washing status light and top-panel timer (also shown in the app)
The third rack has a new design, and the bottom rack glides smoothly with housed wheels that won’t fall off like in some other brands. Feature-wise, this model compares well with the Bosch Benchmark.
However, Bosch costs nearly twice as much, and there’s no guarantee it will last 10 years either. My personal goal is to use this dishwasher for at least 5 years without issues.
Washing and Drying
The interior offers plenty of space. For example, I can fit a 10-cup rice cooker pot on the bottom rack, glasses and cups on the third rack, and bowls and dishes on both top and bottom racks. I scrape off solid food before loading.
I prefer using liquid detergent instead of pods so I can adjust the amount depending on soil level. I’ve tried both the AI Wash and Express (60-minute) cycles with SmartDry, and the dishes always come out clean, shiny, and dry. After using it daily for a week, I can say we are very happy with its performance.
⭐ I give this dishwasher 5 stars.
Why I Bought at Best Buy
Compared to other stores, Best Buy had the best selection. At the Elkridge, Maryland location, I was helped by a knowledgeable and friendly associate named Tim (unfortunately I forgot his last name). He explained all the features thoroughly and answered my questions patiently. Speaking with him confirmed my decision, and honestly, Tim was the best salesperson I met throughout my dishwasher search.
⭐ I give Best Buy and Tim 5 stars.
Installation
After purchase, I received an installation appointment email. Best Buy contracted Quality Kitchen Services, which happens to be close to my home. The installer, George, called me earlier than the scheduled time, but I was available, so he came right over.
George did a professional, skillful job with a smooth workflow. He ran a test cycle before leaving to make sure everything was perfect. The installation was clean, precise, and trouble-free.
⭐ I give George 5 stars for his excellent work.

We bought this White Glass Samsung Dishwasher to Match our White Glass Samsung Refrigerator. This is an excellent machine as it is so quiet you barely notice it's on, but still leaves dishes really clean. The top 3rd Rack is very convenient for utensils and cups but it is a little stiff to pull out and push back in at first, it seems to get easier the more you use it. The Middle Rack is very smooth, no problems there and its adjustable, Just make sure you set the hight where your plates or utensils don't touch the rotating arm causing it not to spin or it won't wash that area properly. This also has a Storm Wash Setting and is very useful when it's full of a lot of very duty dishes. Dishes come out completely Dry every time. Very simple and Easy to use controls. Yes I would recommend this Dishwasher but it is a little pricy for being a Samsung product, but on the other hand the futures and performance is up there with the higher end more expensive Dishwashers. if you can afford it go for it.
I would recommend this to a friend

Everything works as described after two weeks of use and our dishes have never been easier to clean. I always buy the extended warranty but fingers crossed we never have to use it.
I cannot imagine a better dishwasher for the money

Holy smokes, this dishwasher is incredible. Silent, water-efficient, energy-efficient, and cleans every. single. thing. so. well. My blender's pitcher is caked with rings of protein powder when it goes into the dishwasher; it comes out looking brand new -- on the express cycle (the shortest cycle)! Living in a single-person household, I don't use a lot of dishes, pots, glasses, and utensils, so I only use the express cycle. Even so, this dishwasher cleans every. single. thing. so. well. The AutoRelease dries out the dishwasher out so well, so there's little chance of mold accumulating in the dishwasher as long as you maintain it. The dishes and glasses have a small amount of water after you run a cycle, but if that's a big deal, just grab a clean rag and dry. Not a big deal at all.

If I focused only on the AI Wash cycles, this would be 5 stars. It’s ridiculously long at 3 hours and 17 minutes of run time but is the best wash experience I’ve had with a dishwasher, on all three racks. But if I deviate from that setting, I find that it struggles to get things as clean and dry as the AI mode. The dishwasher can hold a lot and is remarkably quiet, and we dont mind the AI wash much given that we run it at night. It’s a good dishwasher on a good deal but I wouldn’t pay close to full for this.

In theory, this dishwasher is amazing. The top rack storm wash and utensil shelf is nice, and I loved that the middle rack could be adjusted to accommodate different sized dishes. It automatically opens when the cycle is done to help dry the dishes, which is cool. I didn't get to use the AI features, but again in theory they sounded good.
However: The third rack does make it harder to fit things in the second shelf. The tines that hold plates on the bottom rack are spaced very close together, so if you have plates with any lip or significant curve to them, they will not fit upright between them. If you have dinner plates on the bottom, you can only fit short things on the middle rack, so you lose a lot of space.
I also received this particular dishwasher with a dent on the door, and the detergent compartment leaked around the edges where it attached to the inside of the door. Best Buy tried to charge me another delivery fee for a replacement, then after agreeing to replace the defective appliance "for free" never delivered it. Multiple phone calls with customer service each lasting an hour or more, and it ended up being cheaper and less hassle to return the thing and get a different one elsewhere.
If you don't have thick plates or too many tall dishes to wash each cycle, this is an okay dishwasher. I'd recommend getting it somewhere other than Best Buy, though, if they're prone to defects instead of ours being a fluke - they will not be helpful in replacing it.
Thank you for choosing Samsung for your Appliance needs. It's sad that you no longer have the product, and we know your disappointment about your overall experience with the dishwasher.
We would love the opportunity to work with you in the future. Please visit www.Samsung.com or one of our partners to explore products that better fit your needs.
Thank you.

I'm loving the third drawer specifically designed to hold glasses. My dishes are coming out cleaner than ever. The unit is quite modular by taking our or moving silverware holders, raising/lowering the entire drawer, built in attachments to hold stemmed glasses, etc. And it's soooo quiet.

The Samsung 24" AutoRelease Dry Smart Dishwasher is outstanding. It runs extremely quietly at 38dBA and leaves the dishes sparkling clean every time. The 3rd rack is very convenient, and the overall design is sleek and modern. Highly recommended!

We were looking to replace our old dishwasher, which was only 8 years old, and in all fairness, we didn't use it that often so it was upsetting when it broke down. We decided this time to upgrade to a more middle to upper class, if you will, dishwasher. I am so glad we did. I absolutely love this dishwasher so far. It does an excellent job of cleaning and drying. It is super quiet. I cannot hear it running. I love the top rack. I am glad I searched different top racks, as I feel this one works best for my family. It makes a great place for cooking utensils and small lids. I love the app when I am not sure which setting to use The dishwasher literally tells you when it is starting, and when done, the door opens up so the steam does not sit on your dishes. We barely used our last dishwasher. However, we find we are using this one on an almost daily basis. As long as this holds up like this, I will be very happy.

Washes very quietly but took us a few times to figure out which cycle got things clean. Now everything comes out looking great. The only negative is some cups are still wet on top. Other than that it’s great.

The dishwasher is nice, super quiet, which I love! I liked the idea of 3 racks, but I’m still trying to get used to the layout. I was hoping the WiFi access would be beneficial, but as soon as I hooked it up to the app I received notification that someone from Romania was trying to access my phone. I had all kinds of security issues when I did the same thing with my Samsung washer years ago as well. I had to delete the app and it all stopped.
