This TV was very easy to set up and takes relatively little space on our kitchen counter. (Way less than our old 13" tube style TV!) The picture is sharp and clear, however...The viewing angle is definitely not optimal! (I'd estimate 90 degrees +/-) This isn't a big deal for us since most of our viewing is within the required zone for good viewing. Speakers: As with probably all 'flat screen' TV's I would definitely recommend getting a sound bar to go with this set. We thought 'maybe' we could get by without one - that would be a big NO! However, we did buy the smallest size sound bar we could find at Best Buy, which was 50% off during Black Friday. It sounds just fine for our needs. (INSIGNIA brand)

Excellent quality! Clear crisp image and great sound. Connects to wifi quickley with easy to use extras. Even my 8 yr old can work features without a problem. Was not looking to buy a Smart TV but so glad I did, well worth spending a little extra!

i have bought and installed about 150 of these TVs for my customers, and so far there haven't been any reliability problems. Although it's resolution is only 720P, the picture looks pretty good. Because of the lower resolution, it's not ideal as a computer monitor, like it's predecessor. Unfortunately, it also doesn't have a headphone jack. Somehow, an engineer at Samsung thought that having an optical output to connect to a surround system was more important. Seriously, who connects a 24" TV to a surround system? A headphone jack would be much more commonly used. Unlike the UN-24H4000, it's little brother, the 4500 at least has an analog audio output, which can be converted to drive headphones as long as you are willing to buy a stereo headphone amplifier. The analog audio jack can also be connected to a small amp to drive a couple of speakers. It has a "Smart-TV" feature for on-line programming, also not available on the 4000. It also has the ability to respond to the discrete infrared commands unlike the 4000. If you're planning to mount it on a wall, you'll have to use a mount that sticks out pretty far from the wall. The connections are straight out the back of the unit, so the cables will stick straight out the back at least 2". That means you can't mount it flat to the wall. Also, their is a flange on the back where the stand clamps in, that keeps it from snugging tight against the wall. If you want a 24" TV, this is probably the best one available, but it could have been so much better if it had a headphone output, and was 1080P, like the previous model. Don't downgrade tot the UN-24H4000-- They took away almost every good feature on that model. At least the UN-24H4500 has most of the features you'll want.

I love this tv. I took it out of the box and plugged the power cord into the tv and wall and let the tv prove how smart it was. I was able to get an xfinity signal from a neighbor even in the country which is all i needed to watch netflix. I can even watch xfinity online when i want to see new shows. The tv runs autu setup and is basically dummy proff. The only. Thing i would change would be to make it louder. A week after purchase i knocked it off the dresser face to the floor and it survived without even a crack. Is it an awesome tv or am i lucky. I know im not lucky so you tell me.

Great picture, contrast is very good. Mounts easily on wall wih mount, due to light weight. Sound is a bit tinny, seems that speakers are only in the back. Easy to set up through wifi.

I have to say the tv was easy to set up, however I find that the remote is difficult to use when trying to get to search something on the internet... Not sure how you would fix that. (also I did enlist the help of my grandson, found my browser to be outdated on my computer and he helped me update and get signed on)

Great TV, very light weight. Easy to set up. Chose it because of its name brand and because I was looking for a smart TV that did not require use of cable. Unfortunately, Samsung apps were not as many as I expected so I exchanged the TV for an Insignia with Roku. However, if I was planning to use TV with cable I would definitely have kept it as it was a great price, and high quality product.

This picture quality on this tv is perfect. Love the fact that it's a smart tv and connects to the Internet. The TV set up is easy and very detailed

This is a ver good tv for a child's bedroom. Since its a Smart tv it has all of the built in apps you need plus you can download more. Very sharp picture but the sound is not the best. One issue I did have was the tv shutting off randomly. I disabled all of the timer settings but continued to have issues. I finally figured out that the tv was trying to auto update and would shut off. I rest all settings, changed the auto update feature to manual and that fixed the issue.

Bought monitor to hang on wall above peninsula in kitchen. Monitor has all the bells and whistle I could ask for. The smart TV work good. Hooked up to interent easily. Apps that I use works great.. picture is just as good as any of my other Samsung TVs. The IR extender that comes with the TV was a extra added bonus, used it to hide cable box so it could be controlled through Samsung remote. Own TV for 1 month and had no problems so far. A bonus was Best Buy had it on sale and it was in stock......thank you Best Buy.

This is a good little TV for a small space. The smart TV is nice to have to connect to things like Netflix without any extra hardware (my main TV is connected to my PS3). We have it setup in the bedroom with only a satellite client box so clutter on the dresser is minimal which is nice. Picture quality is great. It's s little pricey for the small screen size but the pros outweigh the price.

Perfect size for a smaller room. Loaded with apps that I use i.e. netflix, hbo go, youtube. Easy set up. light weight. Definitely a quality product can't beat the price. Only complaint is that the exit button on the remote is next to the right scrolling button. I keep pressing it by accident and exiting out of what I'm doing.

I bought the tv because it was a smart tv and i only needed to access hulu. Everytime i turn on the tv and press the smarthub button to access the hulu app, it says i have wait for a signal. I have to wait a good 3 to 5 minutes or more to press on the smarthub button again to access hulu. It is annoying. However i dont mind because the picture quality makes it all worth it. I had bought a smart tv from walmart the week before purchasing this one. It was the same size and maybe 10 buck cheaper. The picture quality was awful. I returned it and found this Samsung tv. Samsung's phones always have the best picture resolution so i trusted that this tv would be better quality than other brands. So for the price and picture quality i give 5 stars. I give 4 stars to how annoying it is to wait to access the apps. I wish i could program it so that as soon as i turn on the tv, a page with all the apps appear. Kinda like when you change the input to video. Over all i recommend it when comparing to other tv that are the same size around the same prize. Go for samsung.

We purchased this TV for the spare bedroom .. It was a open box and the first TV we bought we had to take back because of issues. I was not a Samsung.. It's a Smart TV and it was real easy to setup for WIFI.. The picture quality is good.. The TV controls are easy to negotiate and overall we are very pleased with it.. Since it is in the spare bedroom at this time it has minimal use so it's hard to give it a total review .. We would purchase this model again..

I purchased a 32" Samsung smart tv for our bedroom this past summer and it's wonderful and I wanted to replace our very heavy dinosaur of a tv in our kitchen and finally found what I wanted tucked in the back of Best Buy (they keep the big screen tv's in plain sight). This is a wonderful and reasonably priced tv and it's so smart--I can easily watch Netflix movies on it. Tomorrow I'm training it to sit and heel.

This is a great TV. I’ve had it now for over a month and I couldn’t be happier. I bought it for a spare room - I didn’t want to hook it up to a cable box and pay unnecessary money, since I already have cable boxes for my other rooms. Instead, I thought I would use this TV to stream video on my Amazon Fire Stick, and the picture is fantastic. But I also recently got an RCA Indoor flat HDTV antenna and I get 30+ channels, and the picture quality on this TV is amazing. The colors are rich and vibrant. The sound, though, isn’t so great, but everyone says flatscreen TVs are not notable for their sound in general, so I guess for this price I can’t complain. This is a compact size and easy to move from one room to another, or within the same room. It fits neatly on a small stand. If you have a large room, this may be too small, but it’s just perfect for me as an additional TV.

I have researched so many different smart TV's. The only thing wrong with this tv (which prevented it from getting 5 stars) is that there is a lag time from when you hit the Smart Button on the remote control to anything happening on the TV. If you are a patient person, this is not an issue, but if you want instant results, it can be frustrating.

We bought this tv because we have a larger one already. Very pleased with the quality and we also got a good deal on the price. This is our first smart tv. The set up directions was confusing to me and had better luck with the set up on my own. Wasn't difficult. Great picture quality and depending on the internet provider is how fast it connects and ready once the tv is turned on. Otherwise we are quite pleased with this tv.

Given as a gift to someone with a smaller one room efficiency apartment. It turned out to be the perfect size for her space requirements. Great picture for a small flatscreen. Speakers are adequate but a little tinny because of the small size. This unit is "smart-aware" so she also has it hooked to the Internet by Wi-Fi connection. Overall a great product for a small amount of money. I highly recommend.

I bought an opened box Samsung TV. It arrived promptly and was well packed. The TV is wonderful, great picture. Easy to set up. Only problem was three missing screws that attach the TV to the stand, but alas, I had those in my tool chest.
