Great Dishwasher Love the Heat Dry Option
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher is a great dishwasher. As part of the Samsung insiders program I get to enjoy this dishwasher. The dishwasher is very quiet can't tell it is on most of the time. The stainless steel is nice and one very positive thing about the dishwasher is there is so much room in the dishwasher there is plenty of room for all dishes and worry about running out of room. The professional installation that Samsung provides is really great the installer installs all over our area and knows his stuff. The top control for the dishwasher is very great love it and it is very quiet without load sounds when it is done. Great tip use the tablets or light amount of non liquid soap with this dishwasher don't use liquid soap it will gum up your dishwasher. You can use jet dry or cascade drying solution for the drying cycle because it will make your dishes come out dry not with water on the dishes. My conclusion to this dishwasher is that it is a great dishwasher now when one of my kids monkeys with the dishwasher and stops it in the middle of washing you may have to start the dishwasher manually which is an extra step but it does a great job with the dishes. Now comparing it to the maytag dishwasher that I had previously which was a quiet series 300 which I nicknamed loudseries 300 because it ran load it is pleasant to have a dishwasher that cleans and is not loud.

powerful yet silent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were extremely happy to get a chance to test a new Samsung Top Control Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Door through the insiders. We just moved into a new to us home and the existing kitchenaid dishwasher was really old. our biggest complaint was the time and water it took to clean. as soon as the new dishwasher came, we put it to a test. Dirty black tea stained tea cups, baked one cheesy lasagna , old copper pots and scaled water glasses....after 1 hour with the 60 express all came out clean. We measured the water use and it came to 28 liter which is half of the old ones use. i had some old dirty baking sheets and baking forms and used the heavy duty setting...I was in stock ( the good way ) seeing the sheets so Clean. Hubby had an old copper pot from his mom and OMG it looks like new.. needless to say we all love the new dishwasher. one more bonus : its so silent ..even our scared kitten does leave the kitchen when samsung does its magic

Great dishwasher, works perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Top Control Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Door looks great inside and out. I love the buttons on the top panel of the door. This gives the front a clean look and makes my kitchen look even better. This Top Control Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Door is a little smaller than what I was using before but does a great job. Dishes go in dirty and come out clean. I used to rinse off my dishes before loading them in the dishwasher but all that changed with this Samsung Dishwasher. I remove the big food items (chicken bones, Brussels sprouts, pile of peas) and just load them in. My plate with day old spaghetti sauce (I didn't do the dishes the night before) came out clean and spotless. One of the best things about this dishwasher is that it is quiet. You hear just a low humming sound and that gets washed out by the TV. I am reviewing this dishwasher as part of The Insiders program. I am forturnate to be a product tester and to have this item in my home.

Quietly Clean
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love my Top Control Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Door. It is super quite as our last dishwasher we would wait til we were leaving in the morning so that we did not have to hear it. I love that if the door gets opened and it is not restarted there is a ding that goes off to remind you. This was something that our old washer did not do and would get open and you would end up hand washing everything. I love that everything gets super clean and that there are not spots all over. The best part is that you do not have to super rinse things before putting them in as it gets the toughest food off for you. I love that it does all the work. I would highly recommend the Top Control Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Door.

Good overall
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this because it matched our fridge. It has been good getting the dishes clean. However, it does not drain well and if the water sits a couple days, it smells awful and have to re-wash the dishes. Could use taller space on top rack for large cups. If you lower the top rack, it’s hard to make plates fit below. The extra top tray is PERFECT for extra items like kids cup kids that don’t seem to fit elsewhere. Seems like I’m the only one that has a problem with the draining after seeing reviews.

Disappointed with previoysly trusted brand name
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.14 minutes ago I generally like Samsung products and own many, but not this 80M2020 dishwasher. It says it has heat dry, but t it doesn't really. It requires you to use a rinse agent and to open the door at the end of the cycle. How many people want to put more chemicals on your belongings and into the environment. Not me. I also have chemical sensitivities, so no thanks. Also, how many people stand in the kitchen waiting for the dishwasher to finish. Not me. I have so many other things to do. If I open the door when everything is cooled down...about when I remember to check...everything is dripping wet. So, I can't put dishes away without either hand-drying every item or letting it sit open for hours (in which case my cats have climbed in and put their litterbox paws on everything). Also, I live in South Florida, a hot humid place. Humidity and mold are the worst problems. I never want to let steam into the room on a regular basis. That's a formula for toxic black mold growth. Very mis-leading when I bought this unit. Additionally, the door is very tinny and flimsy. It flexes and doesn't always close straight, chipping the side of my cabinet. My 20 year old Kitchen Aid was a very solid unit. You could flip the door up with your foot and it shut tight with a solid "chunk" sound. Not this one. It takes a hand and a couple of tries to close right. Also, the lights are hidden, so no telling at a glance that it's finished washing. So, if you don't hear noise and open it too soon, you have to start aaaalllll over again. I should have researched better, but I trusted the Samsung name. NO MORE!

Good Washer - Bad at Drying
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you look at other reviews you will see the common theme. This dishwasher has been great for me. Cleans, well, runs quietly, and just works. EXCEPT the drying sucks. The heated dry does not work. Your stuff will be damp or slightly wet every time.

Does the job but not great.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok Dishwasher, cleans fairly well if everything it rinsed off prior to loading. Not very quiet, you know when this thing is running. Both Racks rusted out the year after the warranty was up, and are just about the cost of dishwasher to replace.

Was good until it wasn't
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this dishwasher in 2019 - it was great until it wasn't. First 3 months the water pump was recalled it stopped draining. Geek Squad came out fixed it. 6 months later happened again. 2 years later it stopped draining again and the water sensor went - the warranty and geek squad protection expired - they wanted $250 just to come out to tell me what was wrong. It was clear what was wrong the error code was telling me. It seems silly to throw good money to bad no more samsung appliances for me - too expensive if something breaks.

Phenomenal Cleaning Power
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my dishwasher for almost two weeks now. The first wash I tried was the normal wash and that did a great job. I figured I would try the heavy cycle next. I let my dishes sit for 2 days with stuck on mess on them- spaghetti sauce, blueberry smoothies, dried soup and other stuff. I usually rinse or semi wash my dishes prior to loading them in the dishwasher, but not this time. I wanted to see how well the machine who clean. I must say I was blown away by the sparkling glasses and bowls. All of my dishes came out magnificent. Guess there is no need to pre rinse with this dishwasher. It will clean everything, stuck on messes and all. I am reviewing this product as an Insider. My review is based on my personal experience using the appliance. #Samsunginsiders

Over reactive water sensor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this dishwasher for 18 months and just replaced with an LG out of sheer madness. The issues started around 3-6 months in. The cycle would run and then at the end start beeping and drain for a long time. It would then not start up again. We googled the issue and discovered that the water sensor at the bottom pan may be wet. There wasn’t water on the floor but we pulled out the dishwasher and flipped it over. We removed the bottom plate and styrofoam insert and discovered slight amount of moisture. We let it air out for the night and reassembled. Problem fixed. We then tested it to see if there was a leak somewhere, scrubbed the inside and seals, and cleaned the filters to be sure. No visible water leaking on the floor. We figured it was a fluke and we’re grateful for the sensor for possibly saving our floors from a bigger disaster. Fast forward the next 6 months. The sensor triggered about ever 60 days despite keeping the filter and seals clean. Each time it involved the above song and dance. The last 3 months we were doing this almost monthly. Same experience where there is no water anywhere else but a few drops in the bottom pan. Our cabinets are now ruined from bolting and unbolting the dishwasher almost a dozen times. Our sanity was more important and we upgraded to nicer features. The dishwasher worked fine other than this over sensitive sensor or bad seals. Was quiet and dishes were clean.
