After doing research and looking at the charging circuitry inside my Samsung S22+, this is the charger suggested by Samsung that is specific for the S22 phone battery and charge limiting circuitry. It is a fast charge, which might scare people but it matches and performs based on the circuitry in the phone and in the charger. My experience is that it charges your phone in a reasonable amount of time, like from 20 to 30 some minutes, much faster than using the old charger from a Samsung S7, which is still being sold as a slower charger for even the S22 and S22+. SO THE CHARGER WILL STOP CHARGING WHEN THE BATTERY REACHES 100%. It actually slows down as it approaches 100%, partially because the more charged the battery, the more push is needed to charge it at the same amperage. So my experience is that it cools down and then goes cold when it gets to 100%. So I don't see any overheat issues, even though this is a fast charge, it seems to be intelligent enough not to push too high of a current. If your phone is 60 or 70% and you are going out and need your phone to be 100%, it only takes about 20 minutes to charge to 100%. I bought one for my wife also.

I always prefer official accessories for any electronic item that I spend more than $400 on. This wall brick isn't the cheapest, but, especially with fast charging, I wouldn't trust my $800 phone with a cheaper off-market brand. It charges fast like it claims, and I like that they chose a matte finish instead of a glossy one like many others. Samsung has cheapened out on packaging though, as it came in a box without any additional packing or wrapping - literally just tossed in by itself, so it can give an impression that it has been used before. But all of the chargers on the hook (in both colors) were the same, so I did not take any off of this review and grading it on performance only.

This really is a much faster charger and I am glad it is authentic Samsung. I am always afraid to buy some off brand in case it does any damage to my phone so decided to spend the extra few bucks and get this one. I have the S21 and was using my old fast charger since they decided to copy apple and not provide a charger. I was happy with previous fast charger because charging from about 25% to 100% took about 1.5hrs. But this one only takes about 1hr to get it to same %. Really helps to get more out of your charge if you don't even have the full hour. So this has worked out great. Been using it for over a month now and it doesn't get all hot and no damage to charging system that I can see.

This charger just does the job! I plug my Samsung device into it at any number of times during the day, and it quickly charges the device without getting too hot. It fits into a standard electrical receptacle without taking up too much room and doesn't stick out too far from the wall.

Well, let's face it, companies are becoming cheaper and cheaper and including less necessary items with their products. Sorry, but a way to charge your device from a wall outlet is not an "extra," despite what Samsung would like you to believe. So, we're left with no choice but to buy items like charging blocks separately. This one is genuine Samsung (as opposed to some gibberish-name third-party junk), available at a good price and super-fast charging to boot! Since you have to buy a charger anyway, just buy this one and be done with it.

This is definitely a must have if you have a newer phone. Even if you have an iPad, this will work for that too! It's a 25W charger. The Galaxy S21 charges very fast when connected to this! If you buy the newest Apple charger for your iPhone or iPad, you'll get a 20W charger. So this one will work perfectly. Plus the black color doesn't get all nasty dirty looking after a while... so that's a plus! I use this for my Galaxy S21 (25W), my iPhone 12 Pro (20W), my iPad Air (2020)(20W) and really anything else that needs to be charged. And yes, it'll work for devices that only charge at 5W too. It'll adjust.

Good for charging my Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G phone. I got it at a very good price. It gets warm when charging just like my other older model Samsung charging blocks. It has a female USB-C connector at one end. Hopefully it does not break down easily.

This is a must have if your device supports 25W charging. It charges my Galaxy Z Flip 4 from below 20% to full charge in around an hour. The block does not get as hot as my lower wattage IPad Pro charger. I happened to get this for $15 on sale, which made it cheaper than the off brand cubes.

I think it charges faster? I had an older charging brick that works fine, but connects with standard USB. I needed the type C plug for my new phone and for the Galaxy watch charger. Does what I need, no complaints.

Well I needed a replacement charger for my s21 ultra. This charger works great. It's fast easy to use and compatible with my phone as well as my android tablet. I highly recommend if you need a fast efficient charger. And the price was really great also. So definitely check this product out.

Great addition as it can fast charge most phones. Its worth it as these are not included in phone packages as much. I bought this in conjunction with my Pixel 6a and it works like a charm. Samsung makes solid goods.
