Very spacious refrigerator easy to setting up and connect with smarthings

By far one of the best Samsung products. Works like new after a year in use. Just got to change the filter every 6 month or so, other than that no issues. Samsung can work in trying to integrate more apps to use on the screen and make it easier for repair man have easy access to the diagram online, it would be great. Other than that, one satisfied customer. But do not buy Samsung microwave, its a terrible product

We waited over 2 months to receive this refrigerator due to it being on backorder. We thought we would love it. While it’s has some really cool features, there are some major drawbacks that I’ve had time to consider since it was delivered 2 weeks ago. The “hub” has a lot of great features but isn’t as capable as say Google Home or even Siri. Bixby has a delayed activation when it’s name is called, a slow response time and isn’t as “smart”. For example: If you ask it to add an item to your grocery list it will say “I cannot find a shopping list named Grocery,” because it’s listed as “Groceries” and not “Grocery”. It also lists on the phone app the dates and times the refrigerator has been opened- why? The inside has a very peculiar setup. While there is plenty of space, the shelf configuration is odd and doesn’t leave much room for taller items. The door shelves on the left side are tiny and odd shaped due to the ice maker and dispenser. Only half of the shelves are usable because of their shape. Finally, the ice and water dispenser- even on cubed ice, it spits pieces in every direction no matter how close you place your glass. Every single time we use it we have to clean up ice chunks that end up on the tray, handles and floor. The water dispenser is slow. Samsung also stuck an incredibly annoying warranty sticker above the screen that takes away from the clean lines and changes the overall appearance.

A pretty good refridgerator. This is my first refridgerator with a drawer freezer, and I don't really care for that aspect. I can't easily set a drink in the freezer to cool it quickly since it will tip over when the drawer opens or closes. It also seems harder to organize things in the freezer given it only has one drawer nested inside the large freezer drawer (so minus 1 star). Otherwise this is a great refridgerator. The water dispenser is tall enough to fit tall water bottles, and I love playing music, displaying photos, or using recipes on the smart hub. The compressor is not whisper silent while running, like my older samsung refridergator, but it's not loud either (but louder than I would like). It's noise level is what I would expect from a $1000 unit, not a $3500 unit. For $3500 it should be super silent! Overall I like this refridgerator, but it's a bit expensive.

Great features and really high tech!! This is the coolest fridge! Such a refreshing change from our old fridge. There is so much space in it and the freezer holds a lot of food too. My favorite fridge yet! Highly recommend.

Fingers crossed, so far, the hub is working nicely & is handy. I play music, ask it for information & enjoy the recipes. I wanted it for an electronic grocery list & the entire family uses it. I love the middle drawer for easy access to pop & deli meat for daily lunch making. The biggest downfall is the crushed ice. It takes forever to fill up a cup & it sounds like it’s working really hard. Also we now buy our milk in 1/2 gallons to fit in the door. The smaller upper space takes creativity to fit things & gets frustrating. So far no complaints on the bottom freezer & we haven’t ran out of room yet which surprises me. Although I don’t like how the top rack always stays back & you have to pull it forward if you want in that section. It goes back pretty deep to have to reach for. Definitely consider your priorities before purchasing this fridge.

There's alot to enjoy about this fridge! The water/ice dispenser is tall; big enough to refill a water bottle. The inside is sleek and has plenty of room for anything from small jars to tall bottles of wine. The deli drawer is one of my favorite features as it's very versatile; you can use it as a fridge for things you may use often, or for those of us who can't bend down easily, use it as a freezer. The freezer has ample space with a shallow drawer for smaller items. Finally the screen; this has made a great addition for our home automation. It truly is a Family Hub! I use it for notes to the kids, listening to music, keeping up with my calendar, reordering groceries or answering the door when the Ring app pops up. It's just like having a tablet mounted on the front of the fridge and just as easy to customize. This is DEFINITELY worth the price!!!

After about a month usage, we are happy with the purchase. The Family Hub is really cool and easy to set up, especially if you already have other Samsung devices. We had a Kitchen Aid prior and wanted to try something different. The Family Hub is why choose this model. The couple things I miss is having more flexibility in adjusting shelves and not as well lit as the Kitchen Aid was. However, there still plenty of space and room in the refrigerator and freezer, just taking longer to figure out where everything goes best.

Love the fridge. Hub is definitely the one that made us buy it in the first place along with the options / space. My kid likes to play on it.

We've had this refrigerator (Samsung - Family Hub 27.7 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Fingerprint Resistant Refrigerator - Stainless steel) for a few weeks now and have no complaints. The icemaker works and dispenses ice OK. We've only used the 'Cube' setting (not 'Crushed') and have found that the ice can dispense at a slight angle with the broken ice pieces. This is easily overcome by raising your glass closer to the top, simple. The best thing about this refrigerator for us is the 4th door/drawer. We can fit a ton of water bottles and other frequently accessed items here which is conveniently retrieved by the drawer. The worst thing about this refrigerator to me is the lack of space for tall items. The only way to make more room for taller items would be to remove the top shelf, which isn't ideal. The 'flip-up' top shelf allows you to store taller items but it's narrow so you have to put things like milk jugs in single-file so it's difficult to get at items in the back. In my opinion this is annoying but it's not a dealbreaker. The Hub screen is great for family calendars and keeping grocery lists. The kids like to play YouTube but we haven't done much beyond that with it yet. I've turned off the microphone as I don't want to talk to it or have it listening to us. The cameras inside the frige are neat but not really useful to us so far. Best Buy delivery was excellent, I can't express that enough. The delivery guys were helpful, efficient and courteous. We discovered a couple scratches on the side, under the cardboard, that occurred in shipping. They took pictures and offered me a discount via gift card or a replacement. Best Buy followed through and it was a great experience. Overall we are happy with this purchase and would recommend it when it's on sale.

This Samsung refrigerator replaced a 4 year old top of the line and more expensive KitchenAid refrigerator which gave us a lot of trouble. We find the new refrigerator actually has more room than the KitchenAid. The only negative when compared to the KitchenAid is that the water dispenser does not automatically dispense a fixed amount of water. Other than this minor inconvenience, we are very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend this refrigerator. The tablet like screen is a nice convenience.

New family hub refrigerator is running great. Lots of room for everything we need. I love adding photos to the Home Screen, notes for the kids, and able to play Pandora while I cook dinner. I haven’t used my picture taking ability yet but am looking forward to see how it works when I go to Costco and can’t remember if we have Parmesan cheese or not. I additionally love the extra drawer we use for sodas and meat/cheese. Definitely nice to not have to open the big doors for the quick accessible items.

The fridge is a show stopper. The screen is very useful, similar to a smart phone. The inside of the fridge, middle drawer and freezer is spacious. The only negative is the freezer does not have a shelf against the back of the front door even though there’s a slot for it. Not sure why Samsung stop supplying that item…most likely to save money. Overall, the fridge looks great and works great.

I love how you can organize everything in this refrigerator. Love the retractable shelf in case you need to put bigger bottles like 2 litter sodas. You can easily connect it to your ring and see the cameras and it automatically opens if someone rings the door. I hate bixby and would love it if I could change to another voice assistant since bixby doesn't understand anything you say and can't do half the things other assistants can. Overall this is a great purchase and the fridge is working great.

I have had the refrigerator for 22 months. I have had two issues with the ice maker not producing enough ice. First time was 10 months after the purchase, which Samsung replaced the ice maker. The second time is at 22 months. Do not know the problem yet, as waiting on the Best Buy repair person to come to our home. Overall the fridge has plenty of room and storage in the freezer as well. The major problem is the ice maker. I really wish is was larger and had a feature to produce more ice if you are having an event in the home. We have to purchase two bags of ice if we are having people over or the fridge will run out after several cups. If the ice maker worked properly, I would rate this fridge five stars. The hub is a very cool option, but we do not use it to its full potential at all.

Picked up an Open Box at Best Buy after a previous order had shipped damaged. This unit has way more bells and whistles than we needed, but its just darned fun to be able to listen to Spotify on the fridge or take a phone call! The technology aspects are great. Personalized digital photo uploads instead of photo taped on the fridge. Calendar that syncs with your phone for scheduling, cameras that relay interior contents if you forget whether or not you have milk as you stand in line at Ralph's. There are however a few things to adjust to: While it is Family Hub Line-really suited more for couple or smaller families. You definitely give up some room with the French Door configuration and the icemaker in the fridge section. We upgraded from 25 sq. ft. GE to 27.7 sq. ft. Samsung but functional space space is probably a wash, if not less than before. Instructions very basic. Much like getting a new cell phone everything is supposed to be intuitive, but call me crazy, i like good old fashioned instructions that I can review step by step, without having to search for YouTube videos and press Pause I I follow steps. Lastly, back to the icemaker, smaller than in the past, cubes about half the size of our old fridge, but maybe that is the new standard. Anyway, functions fine, not overly loud as some have reviewed, but TOTALLY plastic. I mean that revolving spindle thing in the maker, really plastic and the unit is tricky to take out and replace if you are emptying totally for a party or something, but it is perfectly funcyional and has not presented a ny problwms so far! All that being said, NO REGRETS. Love the Black Stainless color and finish. If you are on the edge because you don't know how it goes with a stainless kitchen suite, don't be. Unless your stove , dishwasher , and fridge are lined up next to each other on 1 wall, the color is very close.
