    Crap Refrigerator - Broken after 4 months

    Don't buy, after 4 months, the touch screen wasn't working anymore. I called best buy, they say, it's not our problem anymore, just call Samsung! Amazing huh ??

    We purchased this Samsung Family Hub July 14 2020 and by November 3rd, the Ice Maker stopped working completely. Reached out to Samsung and the soonest they were able to schedule a repair is a month later.

    How would I give you a review when my product has be rescheduled 6 times this place is a sad joke. With no communication between the staff or anyone there AT ALL..

    Good looking fridge

    Fridge looks great. Touch screen did stop working but I had purchased the protection plan so getting it fixed was free and simple. The ice maker has stopped working now after 3 years but again I purchased the protection plan so will get it fixed. Love the snack drawer and the freezer drawer. It’s also nice that the bottom shelf can move. Spills have been inconvenient in trying to get the shelf off to clean. Liquids get into areas that can’t just be wiped up.

    This refrigerator has excellent unique features such as Family Hub very impressive design by Samsung and we are thrilled using this feature. Smart features in this fridge are really amazing especially Bixby feature truly awesome feature and enjoying to utmost. Smart Wi-Fi enables me to remotely view inside of the refrigerator from my phone while shopping another excellent and fascinating feature I liked most Easy access to water filter. I love the center draw as it has multiple temperature settings. I use this draw for lunch items mostly, kids drinks, deli sandwiches items, etc. Other amazing featues are IceMax LED Lighting Flexzone drawer and very functional to in daily usage My kids are really enjoying the drawing in hub Overall I love product due to smart features available in this fridge Liked this Fridge and enjoying using it Awesome fridge and really enjoying using it for daily use

    Giant waste of money and non-stop service issues

    While a great fridge in theory, this thing is nothing but a dissappointment. The Ice maker started having issues within the first year, luckily I paid extra for a 5 year warranty so Best buy has sent someone out here to fix it 5-6 times since. They repair/replace the ice maker and then within 90 days it's out again. It leaks water all over the fridge and door shelving and out the front and down the front. You can hardly ever get ice and when you do its melted clumps of shaved ice. We had to buy a hand steamer to melt the glacier that forms in between service calls (suggested by one if the 5 techs that have been out here). We had never splurged on a fridge before and after this we won't again. The warranty said that if they have to fix the same issue 3 times, they will replace the defective appliance- but it's obviously defective and they won't replace it "because it's the ice maker"- standard lies to get you to spend money on a warranty/insurance. We will also never again by any appliance by Samsung. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere because this fridge will just make you regret your purchase every day of your life when you go try to get ice for your drink.

    Absolute fantastic fridge and layout! The freezer fits so much and there is a pullout drawer that makes organizing much easier. And the middle drawer, aka kid snack drawer, is very well used at our house.

    Having the screen is great. I have already used the Hub feature to check my fridge while at the store to see if i had a few ingredients and avoided buying double. Listening to music from the fridge is great while cooking and the fridge offers so much space inside.

    Samsung support horrible. Refuses fix of recall

    Was very excited about this fridge! Loved all the aspects of it and 2 years ago I would have reviewed it with 4 stars... had some random issues with my ice maker but it I turned it off and reset it it would work... However 3.25 years after I purchased it the icemaker progressively got worse and now my upper portion of the fridge will not cool. Icemaker is on recall list and Samsung won't send anyone to fix the recall because I don't live in an areas they have service centers. Basically they are refusing to do anything for me because we are out of warranty. I wouldn't care if it was an issue not on recall. I would understand having to fix it at my cost finding my own repair person. However this is a RECALL! And they are liable for repairing it or offering me compensation to have it repaired my self. I'm beyond frustrated. We paid a lot of money for this fridge. I will never buy a Samsung Product again. Buyer beware.

    This is a piece of JUNK!!! You will have issues with the ice maker. This is the 4th repair on my fridge for this icemaker within a two year period. . Each time it was replaced with a new ice maker. Best buy extended warranty states the ice maker is an add on. Meaning they will continue to repair until the warranty expires. They will not replace after the 3rd repair. Samsung will not take accountability for their product. Best buy and Samsung continues to point the finger at each other while the consumer is stuck in the middle.
