    Overall I like the fridge. YOU WILL NEED TO BUY A COUNTERTOP ICE MAKER IF YOU HAVE MORE THEN 2-3 people in the house. When you get scratches the black stain less steal really shows it.

    DON’T WAIST YOUR MONEY… THE WORST

    Worst fridge we have ever bought. The ice maker is CONSTANTLY freezing up inside and quits making ice. We’ve already had to replace it more then once, and here we are again, frozen and won’t make ice until I put my hair dryer inside to melt off all the Ice covering the unit. Don’t waist your money.

    The item is really good. The only negative aspect was the lack of communication in the delivery day (which was delayed by over an hour after 6pm and I was waiting on an empty house all day long for the delivery). I wish best buy would have kept me informed of more accurate timing during the day as since it was late, I wasn’t sure if they would come or not

    on paper a smart fridge sounds so great and that is what I bought into. it does cool and freeze, but the door shelves are so weirdly designed, they can't hold a bottle due to that awkward icemaker (that is loud as people have claimed already and I can attest to that)... The problem is with the smartthings, it doesnt work. it is an horrific platform that is very unstable. getting it to register was already a nightmare, but that was in the end resolved. trying to get the modules to work, and calling samsung? waiting for weeks on promised call backs, nothing. replying on the open ticket? no response. do yourself a favor and go for a better brand, samsung doesn't care about their users and their smartthings is a farce. I work in IOT myself and I can tell that this was just an after thought... what a disappointment... wish I could return it...

    Discontinued! Why Samsung why??

    I read reviews and decided to invest my hard earned money. But, why was this refrigerator disconnected. What is wrong with it. After learning it was discontinued at Home Depot i found it at Bestbuy. Is it giving customers issues? Why is it disconnected. Please answer me Samsung why?

    Two major problems

    I have had this refrigerator (Samsung model# RF23M8570SG/AA) since 2019 after 7 months Samsung had to replace the touch screen because it froze up. Now the touch screen seems to work when it feels good, it only feels good half the time. By the way after your warranty runs out it will cost you $847 to have it replaced $200 just to have them walk in the door. PLEASE make sure while your screen is working get all your settings the way you want them because WHEN your touch screen goes out then the settings are the way you want them, again because WHEN your touch screen freezes up you will have no control of any settings on your refrigerator. Now let's talk about the ice maker. When the ice maker is not frozen it works fine. The problem is that is freezes up every two weeks, in order to get it to work you have to defrost it which takes about a day and a half, unless you use steam, then it goes fastet. PLEASE DON'T use a heat gun or hair dryer they will worp some of the parts in there. Get yourself a good ice pick. I tell you this to make sure you have some of the facts about this refrigerator. So now which refrigerator are you going to buy. Have a good day.

    Samsung Refrigerator

    I did love the refrigerator but BUYER BEWARE. I first had trouble with the ice maker, which I’m told is common with these. After 4 times it was finally fixed. I asked for a new one because of lemon law, but said that 1 was over a the following calendar year. Finally got it fixed. It was that it wasn’t calmed around the ice maker. Now a 1/2 year out of warranty I developed a leak which will cost me over $1400 to fix to locate and fix. It takes a while to determine where the leak is because it has 4 coils. Customer service said sorry to covered. If they had given me a new refrigerator when they should have I wouldn’t of had to buy one. I will not purchase at Best Buy anymore. Besides this they took $200 of my rewards because during the pandemic I didn’t spend $3500. I’ve been an elite for 20 years prior and they couldn’t say it was unusual circumstances? Well, they lost over 10,000 in all purchases I’ve made this year because of $200. So BUYER BEWARE with Best Buy and this refrigerator!

    Hub fridge

    It's a decent fridge. My main problem was with the ice maker location. It takes up a lot of shelf space and the left door shelves are basically useless. Samsung should remove those useless shelves and put the ice maker in the left side door, which would free up shelf space inside the fridge. Also, I've had to restart the hub screen a few times because the screen freezes sometimes. Last thing is without the hub screen you can't change any settings.

    Huge dissapointment

    There is not enough time to describe all the issues with the family hub and the associated mobile app. But the biggest issue is with the water dispenser/ice maker. The water keeps leaking after each use and there is no depth in the trey to catch it all to there are constant water marks on the door and drawers underneath. Ice comes out in the form of snow and the dispenser does not seem to be switching between cubed and crushed setting because what comes out looks the same whether cubed or crushed is selected. We didn't notice these issues right away because we only started using ice when it got hotter outside. Now I'm rushing to get support under warranty before it runs out. I wish I had done more research on this product before purchase because it appears there is a class action lawsuit already in progress on this issue.

    Samsung refrigerator's ice maker has a basic design issue so buys should be ware. You don' t need to take my word but search in the internet about SAMSUNG refrigerator. They are take their responsibility for their poor design issue. I have French Door model that ice maker on the side and I keep un plug to de ice and keep changing filter and it keep leak and ice maker get stuck.     first got this unit , was great everything it said it would do on the "Family Hub".... until you get the 6.0 update and the Hub app will no longer work. Have to use the Smart Things app now and you lose 80% of all the features!!!!!! why step back 5 steps,Samsung????? better fix this Samsung or this will be my last Samsung product!!!!! Shame they sold it as having all these features just to get shut down, BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

    The refrigerator is beautiful and the built in tablet is functional. However, weirdly and oddly designed shelving system prohibits efficient food storage. The ice maker constantly drips water and the crushed ice dispenses cubed ice and the cubed ice dispenses crushed ice. Very poorly designed ice maker. When ice is requested, water is dispensed for a second prior to ice. A technician has been dispatched and attempted to fix the problem, however, the problem persists. Extremely disappointed with Samsung refrigerator. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this product to anyone!

    Idiotic recipe apps that are difficult to remove

    Biggest. Waste. Of. Money. Ever. The ice machine freezes and the idiotic recipes appear on the screen with no easy way to remove them (removing notifications does not work, nor did the other option I was given from useless customer service.) Save your money and buy something else.

    Terrible design

    Bought this fridge earlier this summer and have had problems with it from the start. The right side door doesn't stay open which is a hassle for loading things in and out. Technician came out and told me it was a design flaw - the smart part of the smart fridge is too heavy for the door. The drawers all only open about halfway so very hard to get things out of the back. I have also been told this is a design flaw. The smart fridge itself has needed to be completely reset about 5 times already and still doesn't work properly. It's like having a first generation piece of equipment. Also, customer service is unhelpful and no one seems to know how the fridge is supposed to work. Overpriced. Buying this fridge is the biggest appliance mistake I have ever made.

    Not happy with delivery and set up

    Worst delivery ever. So rude the first time and just left. Second time was just as bad. Guy didn’t set up other than plugging it in and then I got yelled at by the manager who then proceeded to hang up on me when she realized she had called the wrong customer. Unbelievable. My husband had to spend a lot of the day undoing plastic, installing everything, putting on the handles and getting the refrigerator level. Did not post my original review. I am still angry in thinking about this, and just happened to see that my original review was not posted when I was looking in my email to see which model I had purchased. So, I’ll take the time to post again because I already lost days of my time dealing with this.
