If you are a Costco shopper, this appliance is not for you. I thought it would not show fingerprints on the door; I was wrong. I must clean it daily. So far, the mechanics are fine. I hope it lasts longer than our last refrigerator.

Samsung vs LG

I also like the ice maker layout better on the LG. The handles on this Samsung are a bit odd as they are inlaid into the door and I find myself reaching for the normal handle. Just stuff I guess I’ll have to get used to.

Freezes up every 6 weeks or so and stops working. I need to defrost it with a hair dryer when that happens. Not too difficult, but frustrating. I hope future models have a better design.

The four door split is a great idea and the ability to take half the bottom and choose fridge OR freezer is awesome. Just wish it was a little quieter. For this kind of $$$ I didn't expect to hear it at all but you sure can. Just the same as the one we replaced that cost 1/4 this price.

This solves the problem quite nicely. I would highly recommend this fridge but only downside are the shelves. They are not as configurable as I would like.

Ample room to facilitate various items, can use bottom half for complete frozen foods or separate makes it easy to adjust. We use the bottom panel for 1 zone for kids stuff only, so it keep them out of our foods! install was easy, make sure water line is available for connection of water/ice maker.
