Very happy with this refrigerator. 1) Sharp looking inside and out. 2) Flex section and showcase door are perfect for our wheel-bound family member. We use Flex as refrigerator for easy reach. 3) Shelves pull out easily and can be configured nicely to fit all sorts of bottle sizes. 4) Completely silent. I do not hear it running at all. Regular ice box sounds here and there. 5) Water spout is a little more inclined inward than I would like, but it's probably by design to prevent splashing drops onto floor. 6) Bought it with the Geek plan for 5-years, just in case. The fridge is a large investment, I might as well pay a little more for peace of mind.

The size is perfect and the variable cooling option on the lower freezer\ refrigerator is great. The shelves and drawers are solid. We have friends that brought slightly older models of this fridge and they complained about the ice maker. We have not had any issues and we go through a lot of ice, and it has kept up so far. The shelves on the dispenser door are a bit odd shaped, wish they were a bit bigger. It does show the fingerprints only regret is we should have got the dark stainless.

I was genuinely put off by the door handles at first. having to twist my wrist or use the opposite hand to comfortably open the french doors at the same time. However, you forget all about that when you swing open the doors and the cool, blue/white LED's illuminate everything in your fridge. The flex fridge is something you have to actively remind yourself that you have. I started using it to chill wine for a house warming party and when it was over, emptied it out and set it to freezer, went shopping and filled it back up when I got home. From a physical aesthetics perspective, this thing is beautiful. Having an open floor plan is what made me decide on a fridge like this. If you HAVE to see it no matter where you're sitting on the main floor, you might as well have something pretty to look at, and it's BEAUTIFUL. Showcase door is by far my favorite, I grab a soda or mineral water pretty much every day when I first get home. Having somewhere to just grab it, it doesn't even feel like you're really opening the fridge. I would highly recommend this for someone who has never had a French-door fridge before.

The freezer drawers have made an incredible difference for me. I originally was going to buy a French-door unit with a large freezer drawer. That would have been a pit for many things to go unnoticed. I'm aware of the problems people have had with the icemaker. I bought the unit with my eyes open...may need to revisit this in 6 months or a year but I have the sense that people ignore the icemaker and suddenly expect it to work perfectly - yes it should, but it's a tiny extra freezer IN THE REFRIGERATOR SECTION. It is destined to freeze up if it doesn't have enough love! Anyway, I've never owned a better or nicer refrigerator. For now, five stars!!!

I highly encourage anyone that is thinking of buying this refrigerator to read all the reviews and purchase the longest warranty you can. Maybe you will be lucky and never have an issue or you could be like us. I absolutely loved this refrigerator and had to have it. You already know all the great things and if you are reading the reviews you have read all the possibilities of what could go wrong. We made it the first few months with no issues. Then the ice maker went out the first time. A few visits from a tech and it was replaced. A couple of months later and it happened again. This time they shipped an ice maker so it was here for the tech but still took two visits. Now tonight the freezer light stopped working and the freezer stopped. Called Best Buy and they do not have an appointment available but they can call me back in 24-48 hours to schedule a tech. Thankfully I have my 20 year old refrigerator in the garage that still works and I can move everything to it for the freezer. I only bought a new refrigerator because we remodeled our kitchen and wanted a larger one with more flexibility. If I could do it over again would I buy it? Probably not and that was hard to admit. Now I am highly concerned when my 3/year service plan expires.

After hearing and reading quite a few negative reviews about Samsung, I am surprisingly pleased with my new Samsung refrigerator. I replaced a 3.5 year old LG mega capacity fridge that had already gone through 2 compressors. This fridge is quiet and we have not run out of ice yet after almost 2 months. We were buying bagged ice at least once every week before. This fridge does not have as much space as the other fridge, but I understand they are not making the mega capacity refrigerators any longer because of---wait for it---COMPRESSOR PROBLEMS! Hopefully this fridge will continue to be a smooth operator. I forgot to mention the surface does not show fingerprints quite as bad as the typical stainless appliances. Just wipes off with a damp cloth.

I love the flex zone feature that can turn the lower door into a freezer. There's lots of space and flexibility with the trays. Keeps food cold and sheets you if the door is not fully closed.

The refrigerator space is huge and the flex zone allows me to choose 3 options depending on my needs. Right now I keep it as a cooler for drinks. I get so many questions about my fridge and they love the design.

Very spacious and fairly easy to learn controls. Love the option to make right lower side into a freezer or refrig. Like the look in my kitchen.

so far so good with the fridge except for the fingerprinting issue at the door. the delivery crew was by far the worse. fighting each other, cursing on front of my 2 year old. totally unprofessional.

I finally had to get a new fridge after a few hand me downs. So I splurged and decided on this Samsung one. I really do like the show case door for items that are used more often and only that small door is opened. I put drinks there. I also love how the bottom two compartments are separated and one can be a freezer and the other a fridge, so that is what I did. It makes for a great beer storage and I could get rid of my mini fridge that housed the beer and moved it to the garage to have beer there when I am working outside, some water as well. But overall a great buy, lots of room but it seems like it needs to be placed properly because of how open things are.

This fridge is much louder than I would have expected. Love the features and especially the room for the groceries for this family of five.

What can i say this thing is big and beautiful. That show case door is a great feature. The flex zone comes in so handy. If you have the means I would suggest this refrigerator over other similar brands

Great fridge... Couple of comments though Showcase door is nice feature, but it's not must have. The ice/dispenser has no grate covering the water tray that catches the water spills.... Not easy to set glass flat there....

Love this Samsung Refrigerator. The only problem we encountered is the height. We ended up having to cut off the bottom of our cabinets and raising doors in order for it to fit. It has a large plastic cover up on top by the front that covers the wiring. As it stands, we have a little over 6 inches of the refrigerator sticking out of the area that the refrigerator goes into. I really really love the design so am willing to have it like this. We couldn't cut more of our cabinets as it would have destroyed them. At any rate, we made it work, maybe not the best, but it works. Not a perfect fit, but perfect enough for us!

it was worth the purchase. The refrigerator is great, spacious and very preventable. If you are looking for one that makes your kitchen look sophisticated this should be your purchase.

I spent almost a month pondering this purchase. I do not have any regrets and my wife loves it. We use the lower flex zone as the "kids fridge". Looks really nice in our kitchen as well.

I spend a lot of time researching online custom reviews. Then spoke to two local repair shops on refrigerators that had the least amount of service calls and warranty repairs. The shops were Samsung certified, warranty repair facilities. They recommended other brands but Samsung was by far the least serviced. Pro: -Great Appliance, quiet, energy efficient, beautiful styling and fits our household needs. Con: - Not as much space as you might think for a 27.8 cu/ft unit. -The appliance itself is very large and a dominant fixture of the kitchen. *** If you have no other take away from this review remember that last point. ***

The four doors system makes it super versatile You can ipen just ine half of the refrigerator, which saves energy Freezer has two separate doors which is even more efficient One of two freezers can also work as a refrigerator or wine cooler, it comes with the wine racks But The best feature: the left fridge door can be opened also from outside, like in a grocery store, which is super convenient We bought the version with some metallic lining on the doors and back, which supposedly makes it even more energy efficient

I am giving this fridge a 4 out of 5. The ice maker and water section is a bit awkward when you have been using a different style for so long and I really miss my measured fill. I do love that it has a flex capability. We use the bottom right side for just kids munchies, their Fruits, veggies, yogurt, cheese sticks and to store their made lunches for the next day.
