Absolute garbage....best buy nor samsung could fix the ice making issues

far and all were defective. Doors didn't close , dented, scratched... you name it. I'll give them one more

Ice machine is junk! I would not buy this product again. Ever!

This refrigerator far outperforms my GE Profile. The 3rd French door makes it easy to grab frequently used items without having to open the entire door and these are just as cold as those in the rear of the refrigerator. Lighting is remarkable. The pantry full width shelf can be set to keep meat colder than the rest of the refrigerator. The freezer is divided into a full width drawer and 2 compartments which makes it much easier to find items. Incredible amount of room, well made, good looking and performs perfectly. The only slight drawback is that the ice storage bin is a bit smaller than most side by side models, but the ice and water dispenser works well.

The worst service I've ever experience. I will never shop at Best Buy again. I'm on my second refrigerator in 22nd days and I still don't have ice. The geek squad servicemen have not installed either of my refrigerators properly. I am left frustrated and beyond disappointed. 0 Stars!!

I just received this a few weeks ago and so far I'm happy with it. Like any new fridge, it takes time to decide where to put the racks and how to organize the whole space. The guide was helpful for this. I like the showcase style (had heavily debated this or the flex drawer, but I like that I can keep milk (or anything else) in the door and was fearful that the flex drawer would make me forget items that were in the fridge (out of sight, out of mind). It's taken some training on my part to get used to using the showcase door, but I like it and I do have some snacks stashed in there for my son so that he can grab what he wants. I really like the chill drawer, where I can put things that need to be kept either a little colder or a little warmer than the rest of the fridge. All of the features are great. Consumer reports also rates this fridge as more efficient than the official rating. The cons: as another reviewer mentioned, the water SHOOTS out of the water dispenser with a higher than normal force and this causes some spills. There's an indentation to catch drips, but no drip tray that can be removed. I also don't fully understand the freezer. The top drawer doesn't seem to pull all the way out so I'm concerned that there may be some digging in the future. I also wish that space could be partitioned a little more. Lastly, some models have an in-freezer ice maker, as well as the in-fridge ice maker. All of them come with the same freezer drawer, so if you don't have the in-freezer ice maker, you have a little cutout at the back. I don't know where it leads and am a little worried about what happens if something small falls through it. Overall, I'm very happy and it's a huge upgrade from what I previously had.

Don’t waste your money on a Samsung refrigerator, they are complete junk had for just under 4 years and now it’s off tho the junk heap. Meanwhile the ge I have in my garage I paid $400 for has been running perfect for 15 years no problems

I did an enormous amount of research before purchasing the Samsung French door RF28HDEDBSR fridge. I also tracked the price for 6 months before purchasing. I love the storage and the configuration! Install went smooth. BUT shortly after we noticed that the left fridge door would not stay open. You are trying to get something out, and the door slams closed on your shoulder. Or you have your hands full with a heavy container - open the door -and by the time you get the container off the counter the door has slammed closed! Called for service - he worked on it for 15 min and couldn't figure it out. He said other models had some sort of catch to hold the door. He said he would talk to his supervisor and then get back to me. It was before the Christmas holiday so I said - ok lets deal with this after Jan. 1. He also worked on the other problem - we had noticed the opening for the freezer drawer was small. It was not pulling out all the way. I went to a store and measured the model and the opening from fridge to the gasket on the drawer was 18 inches and mine was 12!! Also, the door always squeaks - not the first time someone opens it, but if it is opened again within a few minutes - it squeaks loudly! He stuck his screwdriver in the rail and did something so it opened fully. He said the installers messed something up. He did not call me back in January as we had discussed! I called his cell - no response. I had to call service again - they told me my ticket was closed! I told her the problem had not been fixed. She set up a call. The Tech was supposed to call me 10 min. prior so I could leave work to meet him. He didn't call and my son let him in. The tech raised the front legs and left. When I got home I was very upset to see what had happened. My fridge is way off level! Yes the door will stay open - but barely - you really have to stand there and balance it or it will close on you. I called service to complain and she set up a 3rd call! This time he called me so I left work. He refused to make it level - said that was the only way to keep the door open. I expressed concern that all the instructions say the fridge has to be level - I don't want a problem with the compressor or some other part to develop because it is not installed correctly. The Tech got angry and left. I didn't even get to ask about the freezer drawer which again wouldn't pull out all the way - I have to pull on the handle using a lot of strength every couple of weeks to get the drawer to pull out to it's full width of 18"! Because of that experience I didn't call for service again until just before the warranty was set to expire. The freezer drawer still had the same issue of not pulling out all the way, squeeking loudly - plus I notice condensation building up on the items in the top tray. Also I am still concerned by the left door/leveling issues. The tech called before he came so I could once again take time off work. He looked at the drawer and said the rails needed to be replaced. He had to order them. He again said nothing can be done about the left door - leave it unlevel. Service called me the following week to set up another appt. so I again had to take time off work! He replaced the rails and it looked fine - pulled out, no condensation and did not squeak - UNTIL THE NEXT DAY! Started squeaking, rails don't fully extend and there is condensation! I just measured it - the opening is only 14". It should be 18" I am extremely disappointed in this fridge. I did buy an extended warranty and I guess I will be using it and taking more time off work to deal with this.

Just Google Samsung refrigerators and you will get a ton of negative reviews and class actions lawsuits. Huge disaapointment. This replaced an LG fridge that lasted only 10 years.

Bought 4 piece kitchen set. Love the black stainless color. However had to return the refrigerator because the door in the door had slack when opening the door

This product was damaged upon arrival; was sent back.

I purchased this refrigerator almost a year ago, and so far I have already had to exchange it once, and I am currently working on a full refund with Samsung for the second fridge. There continues to be a slow dripping stream of water coming out of the filtered water spout, and I have had a repair company try and fix it two dozen times over the past year with no luck. I will never purchase another Samsung refrigerator again due to this issue, and I really hope Samsung customer service stops dragging their feet, and approves the return so I can purchase another brand ASAP.

Best refrigerator ever! It keeps everything cold and I mean cold. food stays fresher longer. I have only one complaint and that is the left door shuts very loud and hard.

I purchased this refrigerator to replace a 10 year old Fridgidaire that had given up the ghost. This fridge has tons of room and the ability to configure the shelves for multiple storage options. I was worried about the Showcase door, but the shelves slide out and really make accessing frequently used items very convenient. The only thing that made this a four star instead of a five star review is the fact that the ice maker has small capacity. While this isn't a significant issue in my family as there are only three of us. However, if you entertain frequently or have a larger family this may be an issue.

i read many reviews before purchasing this item. i have had it for 6-8months. i love it and would buy it again but ice is not great. it is fine for a home of 2 but luckily i have another frig in basement with ice maker hooked up so not a problem for me. it takes too long to dispense ice and has a very small capacity. other than this issue i really LOVE this frig. would buy it again but only because i have another ice maker in basement. if you don't need lots of ice then go for it. it will do fine for lite use. we use it during day for lunch drinks and in evening for a couple of liquor drinks and it is fine for 2 people. would not recommend for a family with kids using it daily unless you had back up. also the filter light came on after using only a couple of months. they are very expensive and i wouldn't think it would need changing already?????? wonder if that is some scam to get you to buy filters often??????

I have had this fridge for 2 weeks, so way early to truly judge, but I love it. It's well lit inside and all the doors and drawers open and close very smoothly. There is tons of room in the refrigerator drawer as well as the top tray of the freezer and below. And most important of all, the wife loves it!

We looked for about 3 months and kept going back to this one and I'm so glad, this is such a pretty refrig and we love all the space only have had a week but would recommend it , the only thing I would say is get the stainless cleaner wipes or spray it gets hand prints easy.
