A repair person took 2 weeks to look at it and we've never heard from him again. After calling LG, they let us know that the repair person never ordered the part. LG keeps scheduling appointments but nothing ever happens. Now we call the "Executive Center" but, it's just another number to call where they give you the same run-around. It has been over a month that we've been waiting. No one knows anything. The part has already arrived but nothing is being done. I don't understand why a repair person has so much discretion in this company. My biggest worry now is, what will happen next time these crappy compressors give out? LG is not worth the headache! I implore you to stay away. I'll be filing complaints to the BBB and the California Bureau of Household Goods and services but I don't have much faith in them either.

Then I have to struggle with turning the knob (actually required using pliers). Why? Oh, and now as a bonus, the fridge door has broken a little ore than a year after purchase! Mind you, no toddlers or kids that I can blame on being rough on the door. Just two grown ups, at most. I am soooooooo not impressed?

I notified Samsung since it has a 1 year warranty. They have not been able to get someone to come check it. The local technician says they are backed up for a week with Samsung service calls. No one can tell me when my refrigerator will be fixed. I had to buy a back up fridge until this problem is resolved. I am very dissatisfied with this purchase. I trusted that Samsung makes great product, but obviously NOT refrigerators!

I had to jump through hoops the first time I needed it repaired, 9 months after purchase. And now 4 months after that, its broken again. I would absolutely not recommend.
