Bought in February of 2021 and ice maker has now gone out twice. It has a motor that is going out so now it’s loud. Samsung support is not helpful and wants to charge you for everything. The manufacturer warranty is worthless. If you buy this you better get Best Buy’s warranty, but do yourself a favor and buy a fridge from a company that focuses on appliances… it will save you money in the long run.

It happened with mine as well. The odor is strongest when the compressor turns on to cool the fridge. I called multiple times and was essentially told tough luck
