    Terrible! Looks nice however the ice machine stops working after you change the water filter. It randomly starts working again after a few weeks. At 4 years old the refrigerator stopped cooling food. Now we have to find someone to repair it. Samsung should stick to electronics.

    The compressor and freezer fan went out at the same time. My geek squad protection expired so now I’ve had to fight with Samsung to get it fixed. Samsung has told me different things are wrong with it that are not covered, meanwhile ive lost all my food. I had an independent repair person come out that confirmed it was the compressor which is under manufacturer warranty. Samsung does not stand behind their products. I’ll never buy another Samsung product again.

    After 3.5 years evaporator broke and 2 other issues leading to a $800+ job. Definitely, a do not buy item from samsung. Ice tray was absolutely an issue. Dont buy ice makers in the refrigerator. Buy them with only ice makers in the freezer.

    All Samsung Refrigerators are Lemons, we had trouble with ours in the first week and in 5 years, 3months after the extended warranty ended it finally started leak and make load noise. I have friends and their Refrigerators are goin on 15-20 years without any issues. So far we tried an LG=5 years, Samsung+5 years. We will try others and see if they past the 5 year mark. This why you will see Samsung's & LG's 1/2 off sales because of their reputation with the consumers

    Poor quality. Ice maker broke and leaked on floor 1 and a half years after purchase. $300 to replace it. Compressor broke after two years. There is a ten-year warranty on the compressor, but it takes two months to get a new one and it doesn't cover the $600 labor charge to put it in.

    DO NOT BUY! This broke and stopped cooling a month after purchasing. After talking with the techician that Samsung sent to repair it, they stated that these models always break. Dealing with the Samsung warranty was a nightmare. These should be recalled.

    The ice maker has already given out twice. My warranty is expired. I wish i had researched samsung refrigerators prior to blindy assuming this was a quality product. Apparently samsung refrigerators are notorious for their faulty ice maker.

    If I could leave no stars, I would. I have had it going on 6.5 years and it has been nothing but problems. Several repairs during the 5 year warranty I purchased. Still did not fix this bad design. Back fridge inside wall ices up, drain tube ices up leaking water on floor. Now the freezer doesn't work. I wish I had searched the internet on how bad Samsung's were.

    We do not have this exact model year, but have had a samsung fridge for about 3 or 4 years. The interior has cooling area has frozen solid twice and had to be ripped apart to thaw all the frozen condensation. Same thing happened to the ice maker. I will never buy another samsung refridgerator. Terrible design flaws require major efforts to keep this this refridgerator in working order.

    This fridge was terrible. Constant ice maker problems and then the compressor had to be replaced. This all occurred in just 2 years. Definitely recommend looking at another appliance company.

    Cooling is fine. Shelf design and sizes just fair. Dispenser panel has been broken within the 6th month from purchase. If you'll buy this product from Bestbuy, consider their geek plan (or whatever it is), you'll really need it with this product. Or, just consider a reliable brand.

    Ice maker is real bad

    Dont buy. 4 months in ice maker starts jamming. 8 months in the ice maker just doesnt work. Replace ice maker and new main board still doesnt work. This product is upsetting

    Too many issues to list here, but I'll never buy another Samsung appliance after this one. Jump on any search engine and look up 'Samsung refrigerator problems'. Won't be hard to find a litany of complaints, as well as a class action against Samsung with their refrigerators due to an 'engineering defect' with the ice maker.
