Ice maker is amazing the water dispenser allows for fresh crisp cold filtered water. Stainless steel adds a gorgeous appearance to the kitchen.

The fridge itself is great , but when it comes to the ice maker it makes you forget how good the fridge is. So since day one when it dispenses ice it takes FOREVER to fill a cup. Probably the he slowest ice dispenser known to man. I could get over that but what I can’t get over is that 3 months into having this thing it stopped making ice. I had the geek squad protection plan so they came out took a look at it, ordered some parts and came back to fix it when the parts arrived. All said I’m done we were without an ice maker for a week. 3 months later guess what?? Ice maker isn’t making ice again… Geek squad comes back out orders 4 boxes of parts (control board, auger, tray, etc) and the tech tells me it’s a known issue with Samsung refrigerators. Great! So now without an ice maker for another week and half until it’s up and running again. I’m thinking we are good to go since they have replaced almost all of the internal parts to the ice maker. Well now they have to come out for a THIRD time to fix this ice maker which isn’t making ice again after 2 months. Shocker! Needless to say I would never purchase another Samsung refrigerator again just for the reason they can’t seem to make an ice maker worth anything. At this point I would rather get my money back or store credit to get a refrigerator from a company that knows what they are doing. You would think for over $2,000 you would get a fridge that can make ice? Maybe so just not by Samsung.
