Poorly Engineered Ice Maker

Since then it ices up and becomes unusable. Takes hours to remove the ice (using hot water or air), then day to make ice again. Samsung is aware of the problem Since 2015 on similar models, haven't engineered a solution.. class action filed 2017. Avoid Samsung models with the ice maker not in the freezer section.

I dont recommend this brand, so much stress that has caused us.

It is my first French door refrigerator. The installers hauled our old refrigerator and hooked up the new one in minutes. We were told that it will take 24hours to reach the correct temperature. The next day it tried to change the settings and could not. The settings panel is located inside on the right side. Called Samsung. Samsung had me turn the circuit breaker off for 60 secs. I was able to make changes after that. A little while later I tried and again could not make ANY changes. I should not have to continue to turn the circuit breaker on and off to make simple setting changes. For that I am giving this 2 stars.
