I bought the monitor and used it for about a week. Then I noticed the dead pixel near the right bezel of the monitor. Luckily, my return was still available by the time i noticed it. Would not recommend buying this, knowing the risk involved with the poor quality control.

Very inconvenient when the design is to move it up and down. 1440p is amazing and you must have a strong enough graphics card to use this. I would recommend something because the power cord restricts itself from doing what it's meant to do.

However it has become much worse over the past month , to the point where I will replace it - with a non-Samsung product. Monitor frequently has lots of very think vertical white lines until restarted.

EXCEPT the mount won't fit anything other than the stock one that comes with it. If you're looking for one that has great resolution, pushes out of the way against the wall, and don't care about where it sits or at what angle, it would work. For me, the mount killed it.

The photos on the listing are incorrect. There is a good .5" black on every side of the screen. It's like the screen is zoomed out. So that nice thin bezel is falsely misrepresented. Second, It does not swivel left or right. Third, on the Macbook Pro 2015, you get 60hz when connected via HDMI, 120hz connected via Mini Displayport. I see no 144hz. I mention this because I know connectivity option on many PC's is limited. In this case you get Mini DP to Mini DP or HDMI. That's it. Getting to 144hz might not be doable for most folks. Power cable and HDMI cable are integrated, not sure of any benefit there. I like the matte screen, picture and color quality is okay. Text crispness, not that good. Plastic cover on back is really chintzy.

Great Monitor for mixed content - Media & Gaming

Colors are pretty good, although I don't know how much of the gamut is actually covers. My personal guestimate is its probably 99% ish of SRGB. It supports 10-bit color (1.06 billion colors). HDMI 2.0 144hz Refresh rate Slim bezels Really saves space, especially if you play on a narrow desk like I do. Build quality is very good. The monitor is stable however, it will wobble if your desk does. Easy to setup. Minimal cable design. Good Contrast ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I took off a star for the price. Its not to say that this isn't worth the money but, $370 is a little steep considering the features it is lacking. No HDR. . .I'm not sure why they couldn't have at least included support for the input. Only one HDMI in and a Mini display port. This isn't an issue considering new graphics cards support HDMI 2.0 and I don't need any additional connectivity. I don't use USB C video but given how this monitor is advertised, I'm not sure why its missing. No VESA mount. . . really? I did think the screen truly was edge to edge as the pictures showed. It is not. I'm not particularly upset but, it really is false advertisement. . . especially when a comparable dell model is very close to edge to edge. Its not a deal breaker but it is disappointing and misleading. I saw complaints about no adaptive sync. While I don't really care considering at 144hz refresh rate, the tears are so quick you really have to try to notice them. Its a non issue for me and for most. I have a nvidia video card anyway and I'm just fine with any 144hz monitor plain ol refresh rate alone. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall its a good monitor. If you have some best buy rewards stored up it will make for a sweeter deal but, the price is fair even if slightly over compared to your other options. The design does really free up desk space and I can't tell you how many "gaming" monitors out there take up an absolute ton. This monitor has a classy minimalist look with the ability to throw down 144hz for us gamers. The lack of additional features, ports, and misleading pictures are unfortunate but, something I'm willing to overlook as it is still a quality product from Samsung. I personally dig the contrast of a VA panel over the questionably better color reproduction of IPS displays. Viewing angles are not an issue as I only watch a monitor from straight on. So for good color reproduction, a flexible stand and monitor adjustments, a very small desk footprint, 144hz for gaming, and a 1440p resolution. . this certainly fits the bill.

Put up with it for about two weeks before returning it. Avoid this one like the plague.

LOVE the space-saving feature of this monitor.

It basically mounts on to your desk backwards and can be sort of flush with the wall or window - saving you the desk space that a monitor stand would otherwise occupy. I like that I can move it closer to me very easily and also push it back the same way. I use it on my standing desk and it works very nicely.

Excellent contrast/brightness, my surface book can easily power the 4k resolution at 60Hz(I got the 32" one). For the price, I think this is an excellent bargain. One other beauty is the wire concealing slot at the back of it so less clutter! One thing to watch out for is viewing angle. When the monitor is viewed from slightly above or below color seems to fade out but at the end of the day this is a monitor so most of the time it's only one person looking at it.
