27" FHD monitor IPS panel with 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time ! Wow! Very good image quality, very good contrast and very good brightness. A very good monitor for gaming. When playing games, it doesn't feel choppy due to the high refresh rate and the Nvidia G-sync feature. Tweaking the picture settings helps to find the perfect fit and the capability to adjust the brightness and contrast also allows you to tailor the lighting at the time. The adjustive picture mode under eye care section is a great feature. It adjusts the brightness of the monitor based on whatever is on the screen at the given time. This help protects our young eyes. Very easy to setup, just need a screw driver to attach the feet to the stand. Comes with display port cable and hdmi cable. And the stand is a full motion stand, you can adjust tilt and height, you can swivel left and rigt as well as rotate/pivot to vertival position. Very customizable and can help you use it for whatever purpose, be that gaming, or just as a vertical monitor for reading or streaming. The monitor is very versatile for whatever you need it to be. Has 2 hdmi input, 1 DP input and 1 audio output for headphone or external speaker. Control panel is at the bottom center of the monitor and I find it too small for my fat fingers. It consists of 5 buttons, front, rear, left, right and enter button at the center. Press the menu button to bring up the menu and it not only display all the settings you can change, it also display the status such as refresh rate, black level, G-sync status etc. Also very helpful, every setting comes with help text. Input AC power is 100 to 240V 50/60Hz so you can use this monitor anywhere in the world.

Got this while i was still doing long haul so i could have a slightly bigger screen on the tv mount to see from across my bed. This is by far the nicest 1080p monitor ive owned, you really dont /need/ anything more for gaming specifically. Anything beyond this is a want. you can notice the difference between 144hz and 240 but i cant say ive played anything where that difference is so critical and necessary, but it sure does look nice. Just got a g5 as an upgrade to treat myself for a primary monitor, having the g4 as my backup/discord screen feels wrong because its still an amazing screen for games. Have recommended this to every and anyone ive seen in the market for a monitor to get themselves set up with. Dont really have any dislikes to toss out there, someone who is used to better would probably have some ish to say about it but im drawing blanks. Would recommend buying when its around 200, have seen it fluctuate a bit over time not sure where it regularly sits now.

Straight out of the box I knew I was going to like this monitor as I got it plugged in and powered up my gaming desktop computer. People will tell you that anything about a certain FPS doesn't matter, but I noticed an immediate difference making the jump from 144hz to 240. I replaced an FHD 24" monitor with this one and am loving the extra screen size. The Variable Refresh Rate worked immediately with my 6900XT graphics card and there was no extra work needed to mount the monitor to my existing double-mount setup. Aesthetically, the monitor has some extra clunk on the lower frame due to what I thought were front firing speakers, but a quick check told me that this monitor doesn't have integrated speakers. Maybe they are heat vents? These and the front center underneath mounted controls behind the Samsung logo interrupt an otherwise sleek frame. I did a side by side color comparison with my primary 1440p gaming monitor and the colors seemed richer on this Samsung monitor. The darker colors seemed a richer shade of black when using the high contrast mode and I've struggled with too dark or washed out dark flip-flopping on other monitors. This seems to have resolved it. The viewing angles aren't great, but I am using it as a secondary monitor so I keep it off to my left. If you're going to do serious gaming on it, keep it front and center for the best visuals. Overall I'm very happy with it.

The monitor in question offers so much more than other monitors at the price point. There are many options when it comes to adjusting the brightness, contrast, and sharpness of the images projected built into the monitor alone. This monitor is perfect for playing video games on. I am personally a Valorant player, top 1% in the game and I play on a team as well. This monitor compared to my old one (32" 165Hz) gives me a huge advantage in game. The movements in game feel so much smoother now than they have ever felt. The 1ms response time of the monitor is probably the next best thing behind the refresh rate. Every shot in game feels like it connects properly, which makes the game feel a lot better to play. While to some the fact that the 27" might feel small because it's a sub 30" monitor, I can personally confirm that the monitor does not feel small at all. Going from a 32 inch to a 27 inch is a big difference, however even with that difference I would make the switch over and over again just because it doesn't feel like it's that much smaller. Overall if you're looking for a monitor that will give you a competitive advantage in whatever game you decide to play, this monitor will suit your needs perfectly.

This Odyssey G4 gaming monitor from Samsung does not disappoint! I’ve been using this for a few days now both to game (playing some Destiny 2 mostly) and for productivity as well and I’ve really enjoyed using it. If you’re a gamer and you’re looking for very fast refresh and response rates then it’s going to be really difficult to beat this monitor; especially at this price. Yes, there are cheaper monitors but this one is so feature rich and user friendly that I would gladly pay the premium for the Samsung reputation and experience. Gameplay is buttery smooth and having the ability to use FreeSync or G-Sync is awesome. I currently have the monitor hooked up to my work/gaming laptop - an ASUS ROG Zephyr with an RTX 3070 and Ryzen 9 5900HS along side an ASUS TUF gaming 32” 1440p curved monitor. Playing games this thing shines. Previously, I’ve been playing on the ASUS monitor or the laptop screen but they’re both limited to 165Hz (though, to be fair, they are also 1440p, so much crisper). The jump from 165Hz to 240Hz is honestly a much larger jump than I realized. Games are just smoother 100% and response feels really good. This brings me to the one minor downside of this monitor and that’s that it’s “only” FHD. So I have an integrated 1440p monitor and an external 1440p monitor alongside a 1080p monitor and even though the difference isn’t vast, it is noticeable. That aside, everything else about this monitor is fantastic. The user interface is top-tier as you would expect from Samsung, the ability use it in portrait mode makes it phenomenal for productivity, HDR, very good color space with lots of adjustments, good black levels for a non-VA panel, great viewing angles, and all the features you’d expect from a gaming monitor. Materials feel very premium and the stand is very sturdy allowing for easy adjustment or rotation of the monitor. If you’re looking to game at 1080p and want a high refresh monitor that won’t break the bank and is feature rich, here it is.

I’ve been using the Samsung Odyssey G4 for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly really impressed. Of ALL the gaming monitors i have had over the years, this one is by far the best one yet. It’s perfect for your daily gamer or even your grind and hour logger. The display is absolutely gorgeous and it has so many settings to change lighting, gaming mode (mts, fps, racing, etc) with additional options to change your refresh rate. Me personally i run it on 240hz with my PC and i run almost every single hard hitting game at a bare minimum of 112fps (rust, arma, finals, etc) which is insane for these heavily modded games. 1920x1080 is great for your daily gamer/ streamer.

Monitor is great and performs well. Fully compatible with my laptop and easy to use set up. 240Hz refresh rate is great for the gaming I am using it for and the quality is fantastic.

For context, I had a 75 hz curved monitor that did the trick but something just felt off. The graphics weren’t as stunning as my pc was able to handle. As a beginner pc gamer, I had no clue that monitors mattered. I went in store and brought it up with an employee and found out that all i needed was an upgrade. At first, they did recommend some crazy expensive monitors and i got a bit scared but I saw this one on display on like portrait angle and was a bit confused. TURNS OUT THIS THING ROTATES AND CAN CHANGE HEIGHT FOR WHEN IT’S TIME TO TRY HARD. I asked for the specs on it and after hearing them I immediately expected it to be along with the higher priced monitors but when he scanned and showed me the price it was only slightly more expensive than my current monitor and my jaw dropped. I went home and plugged it in and set it up and the difference was ridiculously noticeable. My games looked cleaner and I didn’t have any jitters on my screen. It was an absolutely majestic display that made me kinda want to shed a tear if I’m being honest. By far, I feel like this was the best purchase for an ultimate gaming experince
