Best Buy Outlet purchase "Caution"

The following day, I reached out to the outlet store to inquire about the condition of the appliance. When I called, I was directed to a call center, where I was informed that outlet stores do not have a front desk to assist customers directly. Instead, I was advised to visit the store in person to inspect the refrigerator myself. Although the store is 22 miles from my residence, I decided the trip was worthwhile given the price I paid and the listing description. Upon arrival, my wife and I, along with the salesperson, thoroughly inspected the refrigerator and finalized the purchase. A few days later, the refrigerator was delivered to my home, but it was not in the same condition as it was in the store. It had two additional large dents, as well as a third dent on the Samsung logo. Additionally, the second "S" in the Samsung logo fell off when the delivery team placed the refrigerator in my kitchen. I spoke with the installer, who advised me to contact Best Buy for assistance. I called Best Buy's customer service line at 1-888-237-8289 and was told that I would need to visit the store in person to address the issue. This would require a 44-mile round trip. I purchased an extended warranty for this refrigerator and, overall, I really like the appliance. However, this has been a frustrating experience. If not for the competitive price of the refrigerator, I likely would not have pursued a purchase through the outlet store.

It seems okay now. Everything else seems fine so far except that the freezer door is rather noisy when being closed. We love the appearance and the storage space of the refrigerator.

Quite honestly, we bought it because we can’t get a built in fridge for 4-6 months. It’s on order, but we needed a fridge now! The black stainless is very nice. The ONLY complaint is that when the ice maker drops ice, it’s kinda loud. It may not be so loud once we allow it a chance to really fill up!

This one looked very similar. At 28 cu. ft. you would think there would be a lot of space inside. But you would be dead wrong. The freezer and the convenience drawer have plenty of room, as there are only a couple of dividers. I don't know who designed the refrigerator shelf layout, but they must be used to a tiny house size refrigerator. Half the shelves are unusable. They might hold a prescription bottle, but nothing higher or bigger. The other shelves are too high or low, and leave a lot of empty, unusable space. And one of them has a bar running under it, cutting down on space even further. Note: We bought this in Jan, but with delays getting the contractor, the remodel didn't happen until September.
