Set up was rather easy via Samsung's SmartThings app. I have not been able to test EARC as my television only has regular ARC so I cannot comment on that function. I mainly use Xbox One X Apps for the typical streaming services/UHD Blu-ray and OTA antennae to watch content. Sound quality is okay, and the bass response will depend on the audio source. The height channels are noticeable but I believe that is more due to having the soundbar sitting on a computer desk rather than the typical entertainment center. My chief concern is the audio can sound a bit tinny with certain sources. It is most noticeable using the adaptive sound mode. I would advise waiting for this soundbar to go on sale as it is not worth paying the suggested retail price.

You can try optimizing audio performance for your specific content by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or ADAPTIVE SOUND. You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).
There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.
Adaptive Sound automatically analyzes the sound signal to optimize sound based on each scene including voices at the lowest volumes.

Large sound and easy setup

BETTER SOUND THAN I THOUGHT!

I also purchased the rear speaker kit & the sound is AMAZING especially when ATMOS is on. VERY HAPPY

Samsung Sound Bar

There is no bass even when it is maxed out in the settings. My previous $150 sound bar had a more powerful bass than this one. This item is extremely expensive to not deliver a great bass while daily watching or with movies.

Delayed Sound

There are many sound bars available for a lot less but I thought paying more would result in a better sound. However, if I knew about all the complaints about the sound delayed (out of synch), I would not have purchased the unit. I hope that Samsung has an update coming soon that will correct the problem.

If the video on the TV and audio from the soundbar are not synchronized, press the SOUND CONTROL button on the soundbar remote, until you see AUDIO SYNC on the display. You can then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.

Sound is amazing when you hook it up to the ARC HDMI connection. It’s great because this provides pass-through audio for my 4K TiVo box, 4K Samsung player and PS4 pro and PS5 consoles! I popped in the 4K Top gun disc and the ATMOS Surround sound was pretty sweet! I’d highly recommend this system. It works great with our new Samsung 8K 75” tv! The QSymphony is awesome allowing you to hear both audio from the soundbar AND the tv in harmony! Great experience overal! Buy it! Don’t hesitate! And it’s even better because it’s on sale for 399 right now!
