A little buggy when you’re setting the remote to control the cable box through the sound bar, works when it wants to. I’m getting rid of cable anyway so it won’t be a big deal. It also did keep losing the BT connection to my phone when playing music.

About a week in all I use for audio is this amazing sound bar. Bass is way surprising for a sound bar, you expect it to sound like a coffee can being beat on the bottom, 1000% better than that, sometimes it drowns out the audio it hits so hard. HDMI-eARC is very tight.

The Bluetooth feature is really easy to use with my smartphone. My only critique is the sound bar didn’t come with a digital audio cable to connect to my 6 year old Samsung smart TV. The sound bar does come with a HDMI cable but that didn’t work. It seems like Samsung would know that if a customer is hardwiring to the TV they would supply the digital audio cable versus a HDMI cable.

Really wanted to have the Dolby Atmos and Dts-X for my home theater and this gave to me and more. Samsung has something called Q-Symphony as well. The 3D spatial effects are really worth it. Recently got the rear speakers and recommend that for the full surround experience.

Overall, there is not much to complain about with the sound. You don’t have to blast the volume to hear all the elements. I have this paired with a Sony TV. You have to be careful to not hold down a volume key or else the sound bar’s level will not match. The bass is not that great and needs to be tuned to higher levels to really get any feeling of it. BUT - this sound bar is plagued with an issue. About once every few hours, the sound cuts out for a few seconds. Doesn’t matter if it is just music or streaming from the TV. It just does. This is connected with Samsung’s provided cables for eARC. I can’t make it happen but it consistently does it. Samsung will ask you to spend it to then and they’ll cover shipping... but the handling cost you pay is huge.

Thank you for purchasing the HW-Q70T Soundbar. We appreciate your feedback regarding connection issues with HDMI to TV (eARC). Try to connect your soundbar with a different HDMI cable to see if this improves your situation. We recommend you use a coreless HDMI cable if possible. If you use a cored HDMI cable, use one whose diameter is less than 0.55 inches.
You may also want to initialize your soundbar again by pressing the - + (volume) buttons at the same time for at least 5 seconds. “INIT” appears on the display when the soundbar is initialized.
Please also make sure that you have the latest firmware update. You can update your firmware by Auto Update, using the SmartThings app, or by using a USB device.
