Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall Good Soundbar with decent sound and it can get very loud and with Dolby Atmos movies comes to life. Soundbar projects lots side sounds depending on settings, the sound can be heard 40 feet sideways as you were sitting in the sofa in front of the TV, just to be aware if you have an open concept home. One Issue if you are playing video games and when going back to TV the soundbar auto mutes and the TV and soundbar needs to be switched off/on to get back the sound.

Please know that the Auto Power Down Function will automatically turn off the unit in D.IN/ HDMI / Wi-Fi / and BT mode if there is no audio signal for 18 minutes.

Awesome sound!

Works great in pairing with Samsung TV, and also makes it a great way to listen to streaming music through the Bluetooth.

It’s no 5.1 set, but the sound is very good for the cost - bass respond is fine in a medium-sized room and dialog is clear watching a number of different shows/formats.

Quite dissapointing, to me

The F550 was a much less expensive soundbar than this one, did not have Atmos, and did not have a center channel speaker. The subwoofer on it also lost coherence (broke up, "rattled") in loud low-frequency scenes in movies, and I wanted to get away from that. I figured that since Samsung bought Harmon Kardon a couple of years ago, and for the price, this would be quite good. It's disappointing. The subwoofer does not go down to nearly as low a frequency as the cheaper old F550, and it rattles far worse! It breaks up with low frequency background music on normal cable TV shows. Blu-ray movies with a good sound track really suffer with this speaker. It's an absolutely terrible subwoofer. The "surround sound" is very underwhelming. Unfortunately (for me) my wife (who has hearing problems in the mid - high range) has trouble hearing dialog on the F550. She says that she can understand dialog a lot better with this soundbar. That is not really a surprise, because of the center channel speaker that the F550 did not have. I wanted to return this soundbar, but my wife really doesn't want me to because she is taken by the ease of understanding dialog, the the subwoofer does not matter to her. And I am not all that crazy about boxing it all up again and driving up to Best Buy with it. I suspect that I am stuck with it.

Thank you for sharing your review of the Samsung HW-Q70T Soundbar. I am sorry to see that you are not completely happy with the sound performance. This soundbar features a powerful wireless subwoofer, as well Acoustic Beam which keeps your sound in sync with the action.
You can try optimizing audio performance for your specific content by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME PRO, or ADAPTIVE SOUND
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).

There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.

Impressive sound

Great Addition to 65" QLED

Clearer dialogue on my Samsung 55" tv. Easy to set up and with the additional bass speaker, which is wireless, provides excellent sound. I am very pleased with this product.

Great sound

Good complement for my Samsung Q80T TV

This works well for a bedroom but you really want to get the rear speakers if you were using this in a living/family room.

The included bluetooth Subwoofer would not connect, even while attempting to do so for about 2 hours. There was a significant spoken voice delay. I returned the soundbar.

This replaced a mice Denon home theater receiver with Klipsch speakers. I don't miss with big receiver at all.
