Customers are saying

Customers recognize the soundbar's exceptional sound quality and deep bass, praising it as 'fanatic'. The easy setup process is also well-received, with users describing it as 'a breeze'. While the Dolby Atmos feature is acknowledged for its noticeable impact, some users express concerns about the bass strength and connectivity issues with the subwoofer.

While a soundbar and woofer combo alone is no surround sound, it does greatly increase the quality of sound when compared to the built in TV speakers. The sound has excellent quality, the subwoofer provides appropriate deep sounds, it does copy surround sound to a point, and can get really loud if you want! I have not used the Bluetooth connectivity, just for TV use. If you’re willing to spend the $$ for this, it is a great choice and pairs seamlessly with a Samsung TV. (I used the HDMI option)

Great Soundbar with Just a Few Minor Flaws

Setup was fairly easy and using the provided mounting brackets the soundbar almost looks like it's floating in air. It's very well built and looks great. I purchased the rear speaker kit at the same time (with a Black Friday bundle discount). Both the rear speakers and the subwoofer were easy to set up, and have auto-connected every time I've powered on the soundbar. I also purchased a Hisense TV at the same time that I am using with this soundbar. Using the ARC/HDMI connector the two connected seemlessly. The TV turns the soundbar on/off, and without any lengthy setup just automatically passes DTS or Atmos sound. (I really like that when playing a movie with Dolby Atmos the soundbar displays 'ATMOS' so there's no wondering.) There are two small knocks I'll give Samsung. First is that the documentation is disappointing. Some features are completely ignored. It would have been nice to have a list of all the display codes and menus so as not to require lots of trial and error, and to cover all functions like how to increase rear speaker volume. The second negative is a bit of a nitpick but seems like something they should have addressed for an item at this price point (even at the sale price). They include a good quality HDMI cable. Including the cable is great, but its thickness prevents it from fitting in the channel under the soundbar. As I said, it's a little nit picky, however it just seems like they weren't paying attention to detail and could have designed it so you wouldn't see the cable sticking out on the underside when wall mounted. Those last two items aside, it sounds great and does what it is supposed to do. During the week of Black Friday it was on sale for about $450 including the rear speaker kit and at that price I thought it was a no-brainer.

I bought this to replace a Bose Soundbar 700 that I wasn't at all impressed with. The Samsung is a far better value for the money and sounds considerably better in my opinion. The sound it produces is equally as clear as the Bose but is far more immersive due to its up-firing speakers which the Bose lacks. Aside from sound quality, the Samsung supports DTS:X and Dolby Atmos which the Bose does not and also comes with an included subwoofer.

The sound from this unit, paired with a Samsung TV, is excellent, and the bass is powerful. However, I had a very difficult time getting it to work in the first place, and then about a week later it quit working and the TV reverted to its built-in speakers. Again, I had a hard time getting it to play again, but finally did, and it has been flawless since. I haven't played a DVD through it yet, but expect even better sound if the DVD has ATMOS. My TV is on legs, and this sound bar was too long to fit under the TV and between the legs.

I like the sound I get from this Soundbar far better than our TV. Our TV is a 11 yr old SONY 55 1080p LED TV and it's picture is still perfect, but it's sound has always been a bit underwhelming. This SAMSUNG 3.1.2 Soundbar sound pretty awesome. Not as good as a true Surround Sound System but definitely better than the standard TV speakers. Even if they are SONY. My wife and I love SONY products, but decided to go SAMSUNG on the Soundbar choice. The only negative I can give this is the wireless sub-woofer seems a little under powered. All in all, this SAMSUNG 3.1.2 SOUNDBAR has been a great purchase choice. Still working as good as new with absolutely ZERO issues and that's a very good thing. Nice match for the SONY TV that just keeps on performing. Which if anyone thinks about a future big screen TV, think SONY. My next TV will positively be another SONY just due to the quality of the build. You can't beat the 11 year perfect performance while being used about 8 hrs or more each day. I bought the SONY TV at the same Best Buy also.

Purchased this with a Samsung Q80 QLED TV. It was on display together as complimentary equipment. It was easy to set up, easy to use, and I love the sound. I felt the price was good and I had been wanting to get a Dolby Atmos unit to see how it worked. i haven't watched anything using the ATMOS Dolby yet, but everything I watch sounds great. But the best part for me is the "crispness" of the sounds. Voices are crystal clear, even at low levels. My old plasma TV sound was muted and hard to hear at times. This works great!!!

I picked this up for a Cyber Week deal. $399, marked down from $699. I love it. I'm not audiophile, but this for my 1BR condo this is perfect and the price point is great. I still need to figure out some settings to optimize the sound, but music sounds incredible. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice mid range sound bar without breaking the bank. As a note, there is no optical cable just HDMI. So for those with an older TV like me (some LG from 2010ish) I had to go back for a $20 optical cable.

WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH EASE OF SET UP AND AMAZED AT THE SOUND. USE WITH MY 2019 SAMSUNG QLED TV AND WITH BLUETOOTH IT WAS AN EASY SET UP. EVENTUALLY HOOKED IT UP WITH HDMI EARC CABLE AND NOW IT SOUNDS EVEN BETTER! TIED IN WITH MY SAMSUNG 4K BLU RAY PLAYER AND MY HOME VIDEO VIEWING IS ALL I COULD ASK FOR. ADDED REAR WIRELESS SPEAKERS AND WORKS AWESOME WITH DOLBY ATMOS. GOT IT ON A GREAT SALE PRICE IN A BUNDLE AND WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

Setup is easy. Sound quality is excellent. Highly recommend this soundbar. There are extremely minimal instructions included in the box, Mine did not even include a complete manual. When I went to the Samsung website for support for this product, there was no option to download a complete manual. You'll have to go to various independent reviews on the internet to find details about tweaking sound settings, Lack of enclosed instructions are the worst part of this otherwise excellent soundbar.

Good sound bar for the money, clean sound, good audio special separation. I am disappointed in the 2020 change from Samsung + Harmon Kardon to only Samsung from the 2019 model. That one had a larger subwoofer for the same price and better bass response. Couldn’t find any of those left. I do like the seemless integration of the TV remote to control all the volume.

Attached to 72 inch Samsung 80 series TV in basement. This was a very easy set up, out of box and attached to TV in less than 15 minutes. I am happy with the sound output. As others have said, it could probably use more power with the bass, but I am satisfied. I would have liked instructions on how to place the subwoofer, this is my first with a side speaker, and I'm not sure how to set it up facing which way for optimal bass. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the sound output.

Seamlessly connects to 2019 Samsung TV via arc and provides all audio capabilities, utilizing factory remote. Adding Firetv stick to TV, can verify Prime Video Dolby Atmos shows pass-thru atmos to soundbar for full audio experience. Sonos soundbar requires TV's w/e-arc, my 2019 Q90r has arc port and Sonos limited to Dolby Digital 5.1.

Reviewed and listened to several sound bars before choosing this one. It was more than I’d planned to spend, but it was well worth it. Sound quality is great. I keep it in Surround Sound mode, and the dialogue is always clear. And when an action sequence comes up, the sub kicks in well to provide the low end that’s needed. Connection couldn’t have been easier, either. I bought this to pair with my new Samsung TV, and they’re a great combination.

The speakers sound great in my apartment and were easy to setup. I got them on sale and I'm not sure if I would have purchased it for $800 given the small space that I'm using them in. Never the less I love how the sound comes from all angles from this central unit.
