Samsung Q70
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent sound for the money but the bass is a little weak. Also, as several people have reported issues with the ARC compatibility, I would suggest getting a 2.1 HDMI cable. Since I switched, I haven't seen the issues with sound dropping. Another option is using the WIFI connectivity for your TV.

Good Quality soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound quality and ease of initial setup. Will randomly stop working through HDMI Arc which I am not sure is an issue with this or the TV itself, but a hard reset of the TV usually gets it working again. Overall though very happy with the experience.

Well Worth the Price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start this by saying I am NOT an audiophile. I don't know all the ins and outs of stereos or sound systems. That being said, when we purchased our TV and booted it up the first time: I was amazed by how lackluster it was with the built in speakers. Not to say they wouldn't do the job - but I immediately felt we weren't getting the most out of the tv without a sound-bar. Thanks to the Open Box option, we were able to get this sound bar at a reasonable price. WOW. It is AMAZING the difference it makes. We are talking night and day folks. With the built in tv speakers, past "21" on the volume dial all sounded the same with some added fuzzies. With this soundbar, we make the neighbors' house shake. The surround sound is gorgeous and I love how easy the Bluetooth is to connect to. My phone can connect instantly from the kitchen and then it goes back to sleep and will re-adjust to the regular tv settings automatically so there's no switching back and forth. Setup was easy. Even with open box all components were included along with a wall mount if that's the route you're going. I will say the packaging was pretty heavily damaged with large gaps and holes torn into it (also someone stuffed Mormon pamphlets through said holes) - but there wasn't a scratch on the actual merchandise. All in all I am incredibly impressed and super happy with the purchase. Highly recommend!

Great soundbar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don’t pay regular retail, but if you can get it for 299 go for it. You can usually find it on sale. It is a great match up to a 8000 series 4K Samsung TV. I added the rear speakers and it made a world of a difference. So 5.1.2 is perfect for Atmos. I bought the rear speakers for $99 on sale. So right at $400 this is a solid complete system. Make sure you update the firmware.

Setup is finicky
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was about to return this item because I tried for a day to get my Samsung Q90T to play sound on it. In fact, I didn't even realize the sound was not playing on it because my Q90T Samsung TV would default into TV+[AV] Soundbar combination, with only the TV playing sound. Only when I tried to connect with Bluetooth to my cell phone that I realized the problem. In the end, I disconnected everything, reconnected the subwoofer and sound in order, connected with BT first, then connected with HDMI TV ARC. Then, it worked! Now the TV+[AV] Soundbar combination gave a "wider" sound field but the sound (at least for music) wasn't as pure. So I picked sound through the soundbar only in the end, even though it sounded more localized to the front of the TV. Frankly, I have a Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 for my PC setup in my basement and I think its sound feels "fuller" than this soundbar + subwoofer. Maybe the enclosed space creates that impression though.

Excellent Sounds and Easy Setup
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this soundbar to go with my new Samsung Q80T. Sounds is excellent. It came highly recommended by the Samsung rep at Best Buy. You can really tell the difference with the Dolby Atmos. It is so much nicer than having to setup a receiver and multiple speakers. After much research, I purchased the Samsung Q70T and haven't been disappointed with my purchase at all.

Not the best way better than the worst
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good sound Good Bass Easy to install. The bottom could be a little cleaner since I have it hanging higher for my TV above the fireplace but overall good unit for the price. Not the best not the worst does it’s job well in synchrony with my Samsung 75” TV

Great sound!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off this is a fantastic system. I saw complaints about low bass prior to purchase but after several months of use conclude those were written by kids who dont care about anything other than bass. There is plenty here. It wouldnt be rated to ship with Dolby Atmos/DTS:X if it weren't lol. As to the overall sound it is very pleasing. The midrange is not boxy, and the high end is not ear piercing or "tinny". Dialog is clear. The even in standard mode the spacial sound is surprising. the rear firing speakers do a great job filling a room. The visual appearance is nice and sleek and is not a visual distraction on your tv stand. It is great to have bluetooth built in, as my little home gym is off the living room so I can quickly play spotify through it when exercising a bit at home, and then be back to tv mode in two seconds later for watching something. Definitely should be a serious contender for anyone looking for great sound and not after a full 7 speaker system. Simply set up and for something like an apartment or condo, or even just a regular sized living room in a home this will give you all the great big sound you need without question.

Great speakers for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound for my small living room. Paired up with the Q90 tv and feels like a great sound in my small apartment. Do not feel like I'm missing out on additional speakers. I did have an issue at first with the speaker suddenly not providing sound after connection to phone, but after the first reset, it has not occurred again after several weeks.

A great mid range soundbar
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For $400 it’s a good deal and really good mid range soundbar. I was between this soundbar and the lg sn8 soundbar and I couldn’t decide so I bought both. I was disappointed in the lg in terms of how it sounds muffled and not as crisp. The Samsung has better clarity for sure, sub could be a little better but overall it really good sound

Great soundbar for the price range
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great sound bar for the price range. Though it's not true Dolby Atmos..the effect sounds pretty genuine and the bar gets plenty loud. Like others have mentioned, I wish the sub had better bass output, but it's enough to get by.

Nice soundbar, but not at the retail price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this soundbar after returning a Sony that was disappointing. I wasn’t able to listen to this unit in the store, but took a shot since it was on sale for the same price as the returned unit. After installing it, I could tell it was better sound quality out of the box than the Sony, even though the build quality seemed slightly lower. But, the fact that it has a lot of configurable settings and a manual EQ, it produces much better sound than the Sony I returned. It was able to hit the sweet spot of balanced sound I was looking for, and sounds great both at quiet and loud volumes. The one star missing was for the retail price of $699. I bought it at $399, which is about right for what it is. Full retail price for this would be ridiculous unless it also included the extra rear speaker expansion set (which it doesn’t).

Sound is Great, but intermittent connections...
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Dolby Atmos and all around sound was great! It was solid for my small living room. Unfortunately, after a month of use, the sound started to disconnect intermittently... At first it was 2x an hour... Then 4x an hour... Then it was every 5-10 minutes. It got to the point where I couldn't enjoy a movie/shows dialogue because of the issue. After a bit of research I found out this model tends to have this issue. So the sound quality was great but it's really a bummer that the sound bar has such an annoying nuisance. This issue was present with the ARC, Bluetooth, and optical connections. I'd recommend seeking a different sound bar.

Easy set up and very good sound quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this soundbar and wireless subwoofer combo paired up with my brand new Samsung Q80 TV. From unpacking to set up couldn't have taken more than 30 minutes. When connected through the eARC HDMI connection the soundbar works with the TV's own speakers to give a very decent audio performance. Dialog reproduction is excellent and the virtual surround sound is quite good but isn't really a substitute for having rear speakers. The bass from the subwoofer won't exactly shake the windows and could have more presence. I've tried streaming music via Bluetooth and found this to be very good too. At the current price point I think it's an excellent buy.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Soundbar is really good and had very good sound quality. Dolby atmos is like icing on the cake. Add 2 rear speakers and you have a good home theater experience. I got it during thanksgiving deal for $399 so worth every penny.

Best deal around
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I shopped for this Soundbar at all available retailers online, including Amazon. Best Buy had the best price, plus I was able to get it the same day. Even better, since Best Buy bundles discounts, I was able to also get the rear speakers for half price. Dolby Atmos (amazing sound!), at a great price! Love it!

Sounds Great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast & easy hook up to my older TV. I needed an additional optical cable as my TV didn't have bluetooth or HDMI for sound. Connects easily to my Samsung phone via bluetooth or the Samsung SmartThings app. Sound quality is great considering we did not have the capability of using rear speakers due to our set up.
