From custom built, pre-packaged and/or sound bars. The quality of this product is amazing. It connected to my Samsung TV instantly. The pre-set sound settings are perfect for whatever you're watching from movies to sports. Best product out there for the price.

Best Buy took it back to fix, instead of giving me a new one that worked. I would have appreciated a new "working" soundbar, but because it is a "fixable" product you have to keep the dysfunctional purchase no matter what. You would think that spending 1k dollars just for their soundbar they would have given me better customer service by providing a new one, instead now I have to keep the faulty one after it gets fixed.

I am sorry that you were having issue with the ARC connection, and were not satisfied with the experience.
I hope that the unit is now working properly. Here are some tips that may help with the ARC issue for your reference:
1. Change the EFFECT mode from the Soundbar remote. Select the "NIGHT" mode for improved sound clarity.
2. Turn on Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holding the EFFECT button while the Soundbar is in standby mode.
3. Increase the volume level of the surround speakers using the Sound Control button on the Soundbar remote control.

I won't recommend this until they do.

Your feedback on the ATMOS pass-thru via ARC connection is very important to us, and will be shared with our product team.
Please know that you can make the soundbar pass ATMOS by connecting a capable device -- such as a Samsung UHD Blu-ray player-- to the K850 via HDMI, and then connecting the soundbar via HDMI TV-Out to the TV. When an ATMOS track is played on the connected device, the soundbar light will illuminate blue and say “Dolby ATMOS” on the soundbar screen. Please check the external device you are using as it may require additional steps in order to pass ATMOS – for example, if using a Samsung UHD Blu-ray Player, the UHD Blu-ray Audio settings need to be changed to “uncompressed.”

I just started setting up my home theatre system and after reading reviews I decided to try this soundbar out. I'm very glad I did because it sounds and feels amazing whether I am watching movies, TV, or playing games or music. It fills the room without being overpowering or distorted.

Great pairing soundbar for a new OLED TV

The Dolby Atmos soundbar makes a great pairing - robust sound to match an awesome picture. You'll need HDMI cables (not included) and will need to connect UHD player and HD cable box directly to the soundbar. The soundbar connects to the TV using the HDMI ARC port.
