Soundbar in general is pretty good. However, I expected better surround sound and sometimes it is difficult to use only one remote to control the TV and soundbar.

Lady wouldn't let me go all out(tuner and 7.1 surround). Seriously, this limited my options. I read/ youtubed some sound bars and found this one intriguing. Best buy had a display of this and HOLY COW!! this had depth and range better than my Paradigm center speaker had(course it's got 11 speakers in it) but still. I have a living/kitchen area of 900 sq ft, so not sure how well would sound in larger rooms. My ceiling is 9.5 ft tall(for Atmos to truly work, you need a relative low ceiling). The DEPTH of sound is rich, bass can rattle my cupboard glasses(but not over powering the sound bar...nice!) Lady hates loud noises! But even she will tolerate volume 85 out of 100 on movies(YEEES!!!) My cat trips out every time we watch something because of the way the sound is thrown through out the room. Got my buddy to buy the next model up from mine with surround speakers(Explicit!!). They shouldn't call this a sound bar, but compact like that set up... If Best buy wouldn't have had a demo, I would have never known....Bravo Samsung........Bravo!

Great soundbar. 28 speakers is awesome. However does not always stay connected with new 75" Samsung TV. ARC is sporadic with its connection. Very disappointed.

The sound is so life like sounds like you are at the movies. Better than any sound bar on the market

I compared this with the Bose 300 sound bar with the subwoofer. Believe it or not, the Samsung 850 blows Bose out of the water! I never thought I would say that. LOL! The sound quality of the Samsung is second to none!

AS ADVERTISED!! Took a while to get it get it hooked up due to some incomplete info. Now that it's up and running....WOW! It's like having IMAX in the house.

I was skeptical that Samsung could deliver sound of this quality. With this system the need for lots of speakers cluttering up your living room has been solved. The sound is incredible, no it's not true 5.1 sound but wow it sure is close. It's worth the money you'll be very pleased with this system.

Bought to unit based on the sound quality which is very good. But, it does not accept specific input requests from a universal remote so programing is very difficult. It only uses Next, next, next type switching. The problem with that is that if it was turned off on a specific input you can't automate the changing to another input. Also could never get Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) working with my Samsung TV. Lots of audio delay when using the Optical out of the TV to the sound bar.

I have an LG OLED television with a Dolby Atmos decoder built in. Apparently, the Samsung soundbar is unable to receive Dolby Atmos data over the ARC input...which means you can only get Dolby Atmos from devices connected to the HDMI input on the soundbar. I had major issues getting the Xbox One S to recognize that the soundbar was Dolby Atmos compatible when hooked up directly via the HDMI input. I returned this product and exchanged it for the LG SJ9.

This setup can deliver a lot of sound to the room. I don't have the space or layout for rear speakers and wanted a nice upgrade over my cheaper and older soundbar. This delivers, it is loud and clear. The integration with my Samsung TV is also perfect.

Good sound quality - not easy to configure. i used it when the motherboard on my SAMSUNG projection TV died: i got an extra 4 years of life out of the TV.

Very pleased with this sound bar after returning the new lg sound bar because of poor quality

The sound bar is amazing when watching action movies especially with the floor bass box. We live in condo so the neighbors weren't too happy with the sound vibration. The all inclusive price of bar and bass box is good for the quality compared to other brands trending now. However still expensive if you aren't planning on watching a lot of movies. Only negative is that we didn't see a big difference from our cheaper sound bar when watching regular TV.

First complaint is the cavity on the bottom where you connect your HDMI cables. The high quality 4K cables are extremely thick and do not bend easily. The way the bar is designed, you will need a 90 degree connection, or you will be bending the cable to its limit. At first, the sound would drop in and out. After contacting Samsung, several suggestions were given. The most ridiculous procedure seemed to do the trick...unplug for 30 seconds. Don't ask me why, but it worked. It happens every now and then, a bit frustrating, otherwise amazing sound quality.

Enjoy the sound of this sound bar however it still doesn't fill the room as much as others in the built in dolby. Returning it, and going to hold out for a the other dobly soundbar system.

Bought this sound bar for my 4K 65" Samsung tv .sound is great its like ur in a movie theater in my entertainment room .easy installment not a lot of wiring I have my sound bar supporting both of my XBOX,PS4,.its great .I would recommend this for a home theater setup to anybody

if you dont care about using the HDMI ARC connection then you will love these speakers. I just finished working with the Samsung support and still cannot get the speakers to work using the HDMI ARC connection. the speakers work amazing via wireless but will sometimes cut in and out depending on what is going on with your network. I have a Samsung MU8000 TV and got this soundbar with it. thought the two would be amazing together and they are just only via wireless. Samsung support sent me a new connect one box thinking that was the issue and it is now. this is my second soundbar as the first did not work at all either. not sure what I will do next but will probably take the soundbar back and get one more per the Samsung support. They also said that I need a soundbar that is 2017 version and not 2016 version because my TV will not recognize the older version of the sound bar. a big mess but OK because wireless at least works and has gotten me to love the sound of these things.

Sounds good but I will say that 4 months after purchase the blue tooth stopped working. Best Buy would not accept it back so I had to ship it to Samsung to only get the response that they found no defect. Returned it to me in a demolished box( was in perfect condition when I shipped) and yes they sent it that way. Had taped the broken foam pieces together prior to closing box. So I was out a sound bar for 2.5 weeks. Not thrilled for sure

Very good sound bar, gives you sound quality but i was expecting more clarity with the voice. Still you gain a lot with it!!!
