It did improve my existing samsung 65" flat sound but nothing compared to the store. I have been told that my lack of cable(just antenna with booster) and HD supported channels is the difference in the performance. Nice unit and was in my price range compared the higher end products. I thought I did enough research prior to purchasing but in the end it was more of a impulse buy. So it pretty much just hangs there looking neat till something changes. I rated this product based on trying to make it work for my situation. If others have everything needed to support optimum performance of this unit they will be pleased I suppose

When viewing a movie that is in 4K ultra HD, the clarity is breathtaking. Colors are crisp, the smart TV function works much better than the previous TV I had from another manufacturer. This is my second Sony TV and I can't imagine not buying Sony in the future. connect this TV to a quality Sound Bar and you'll think you are in a movie theatre ... more popcorn please!

Clear sound, but not loud enough for my open area

Unfortunately it still didn't get loud enough or even that much louder than my tv. Not bad, but not worth the expense for the minimal difference.

The set up of the unit was also fairly simple and having the sub work wirelessly makes placement a dream! We were initially planning to set up a multi speaker surround sound system in our living room but opted for this instead and I’m so happy we did. It is also has Bluetooth capability so pairing a smart phone or iPod to pay music through this system is a breeze as well!
