I purchased this today and have already synchronized my Samsung tv remote to the k850 as well as hooked it up to WiFi and all other perks. They work great. And as far as sound goes, it sounds exactly like what I would imagine 800 to sound like for hone theatre. I swear my room sounds like the Marcus cinema now...

The sound quality is excellent for the price point. Wireless connectivity is easy to set up with the multi-rom app.

Easy setup, great sound! The sound does project. Only wish is that is had the auto tune to adjust to the room

I really like the sound when it is not switching over automatically to wifi. It is not great when turned up and it is great sound no glitches but doesn't carry far

I actually bought two different sound bars - this one and another Samsung one - when upgrading both of my entertainment systems. The setup and sound coming from this sound bar were phenomenal. The other sound bar, not so much. I actually returned the other sound bar and exchanged it for a second one of this type.

After reviewing and discussing multiple brands and options for a home sound system, I decided upon the Samsund 3.2.1 wireless with Dolby Atmos. The wireless ability is great as is the app that can be used to control the volume. The app allows me to Bluetooth connect my phone to be able to listen to music and control from the palm of my hand. The sound is good, if not great. It easily fills our living room and makes watching TV and movies much better. The only small problem is the Dolby Atmos, which is tough to get set up and hard to know what works with it. So at this point it is a pricey add-on of which rarely gets used.

I wanted a good sound and this works. Apparently you need the right type player and DVD to get the full effect tho. Too bad you can't use external speakers along with it

This soundbar is amazing for the price point and the quality you get out of it especially if you get it on sale like I did at 699. You get the soundbar and sub together unlike sonos and bose and the sound quality is so crisp and clear with deep rich bass which is great for movies and sports. Even without the Dolby atmos being used the sound is still amazing. Also the samsung multiroom app although a little confusing at first is so cool once you get the soundbar connected to wifi and figure out how to work the app. I can stream music through pandora or Spotify or just the music that's already on my phone right through the MultiRoom app. It's so easy I can switch from music back to watching tv with the simple click of a button and I can also control my radiant speakers with the app as well it is amazing. The best part is I payed half of what I would've for a sonos system and I'm still getting movie theatre quality sound and ease of use through the app. Definately pick this bad boy up if you're looking for great quality sound and don't want to spend 2500 dollars.

Sound is first-class. Behavior is erratic at times--switches input without a request, sub has lost its connection, and required re-pairing. Enclosed owners guide is a joke, and the on-line manual is better, but still lacking. Insufficient description of features (does the "dynamic range control" compress or expand?). Sound is great when using hard-wired inputs, sub-par using wifi and BT. The app needs major work. Speaker groups must be re-established with every use. Does not stream Apple Music.

This sound bar with Dolby Atmos is a real face melter. The sound is incredible. It is a good product but don’t call Samsung customer service for help. I give the product 5 stars but customer service 0 stars. I wasn’t sure if I had it hooked up right so I called for help. She told me I needed rear speakers in order to get Dolby Atmos to work. I explained that in Best Buy they didn’t have rear speakers and Atmos worked fine. She continues to tell me it was because there was no rear speakers. That was completely wrong. I had it hooked up wrong is why it did t work. I had to watch some YouTube videos. The second time I called I was having trouble getting 4k on my tv by going through the sound bar. They told me I had to either choose 4k or Dolby Atmos and it didn’t do both. That was also wrong. It was because I had to change a setting in my tv. I told them it clearly stated 4k passthrough on the box but he continued to give me made up answers. Overall I am very happy with the purchase..

AMAZING SOUND! I NEVER HAVE TO GO TO THE THEATRE AGAIN BC ITS LIKE I HAVE ONE IN MY HOUSE! LOVE IT!

The sound quality is amazing. And, it's half the price of other sound bars. Easily sets up and uncomplicated to use. The only thing I can say that's not a positive is that the Dolby Atmos technology is not readily available. So, that feature is practically useless. Over time, that may change.

Not very loud. We leave it turned all the way up. The instruction booklet is vague at best. Not sufficient information. Does not sync up with my Samsung tv very easy I am constantly having to turn soundbar on because it keeps switching back to tv speaker. Not worth the money I spent on it. I also wanted to add rear speakers, but found out I couldn't. Talked with one person they said a certain model speaker would work and the manufacture said it wouldn't. Very annoying.

Great sound. wireless system with great sound. Does not take up a lot of space. No hanging wires

My heart aches in writing this review but after five long days of reading, buying expensive HDMI cables and a very long virtual chat with a Samsung technician I came to terms with the reality that this soundbar was outdated. Now that’s what Samsung called this soundbar: outdated. The sound that comes out of this machine is phenomenal but in my opinion picture quality trumps sound. My issue with this soundbar is its inability to transmit a crisp 4K 60 Hz signal through its two HDMI inputs. According to Best Buy this issue is due to a design limitation that’s been improved in new 2017 models like the HW-MS6500. I would have looked the other had this been a $200 system, but at a cost of over $860, inclusive of sales tax, and this being the end of 2017 I just felt compelled to write something. I’ve been experiencing 4K 60hz for the last 6 months and become accustomed to its crisp videos. IMO going back to 4K 30 Hz is just silly. I am a bit upset with Best Buy for passing this technology with inherent limitation as new to consumers at the end of 2017.

When i bought this soundbar, i thought as it is Dolby Atmos it could sound better but it is not up to the mark. you can get this type of sound from soundbar's in the price range of 250$-350$.

Adds surround sound without having to add speakers. One of the bests buys I have ever made

When I heard this system in the store I was amazed. I was worried how it would sound in my house just because of how much i wanted it. Rest assured, this was a great purchase. Sound is great and the bass is even better. Once I add the other speakers, this is a top notch system.

I've had this sound bar for almost two years now and its never let me down the dolby atmos literally shakes my walls its insane. easy setup with my samsung tv and even has bluetooth support if you like that sort of thing its convenient.

it's sound is amazing will sound great in my medium sized space atmos is crazy good
