The setup was fast and easy. The sound quality among the best I've heard for price range. Teamed very well with my Samsung Smarty. I like the brand and have not had any trouble with other Samsung products.

Works great, easy set up, quality sound for a small room. I tried out a few soundbars before this one, and I'm glad I ended up where I did. The subwoofer actually makes a difference as opposed to other subs that might as well not even be plugged in. Adding the rear speakers is nice, but not necessary if the room is too small. Also, the remote control and ease-of-operation is very nice. Only negative is sometimes the wireless connection to the sub and rear speakers can go in and out, but it never lasts long or often.

The center speaker adds a lot of clarity (especially for spoken voice), the music and movie settings are useful, and the subwoofer is weak (often mentioned as only meant for thundering sound effects, but we've barely noticed it there), especially for its size. After a month of use, we're starting to have problems getting any sound from it. The new Sony 4K HDTV is reverting to its own speakers, and when we choose the soundbar, all is quiet. I'm sure there's a fix for it, but we need to research that still.

I was skeptical, because this sound bar was not horribly expensive. But, the quality of the sound is fabulous. It has added so much to all the Christmas shows we have been watching. I love it.

One of the best sound bars out there. Especially for the price. Sound quality is amazing and I especially appreciate how easy it was to setup. Highly recommend this particular sound bar.

I just purchased this soundbar and the matching rear so-called wireless speakers (SWA-8500S/ZA). I have it connected to a 75” Sony 4k TV (940D). Setup was seamless, everything connected to each other. NOTE: rear speakers are wireless to the point that you don’t have to run wires from rear to front to connect but you have to run speaker wires from rear speakers to a wireless module that connects wirelessly to the soundbar. SOUND: Crystal clear sound is amazing PERIOD! BASS: Has the right amount of Bass. Not too much nor too little, you feel the rumbling in the room. SURROUND SOUND: Rear speakers are the key to this soundbar!!! I would NOT recommend purchasing this soundbar without those rear speakers. Sound is soooo much better than with the soundbar alone. I heard sounds/noises that I have never heard before with my previous soundbar (Bose 1SR). I was watching a LiL Star Wars yesterday and it was like watching a totally new movie LoL! When you have everything connected you just have to fine tune the sound adjustments via soundbar remote to your liking and thats it. I also purchased speaker stands (Model: EFSATB SKU: 4966754) for the rear speakers but be aware that those speakers mount via keyhole back, I had to go to my local Lowes to get the necessary screws/wing nuts in order to mount on stands. REASON FOR 4 STARS: I gave it a 4 Star rating, not because of the Soundbar itself but for the difficulty of trying to program my TWCable remote and my XBOX 1s to control said soundbar. I don’t know if it was because of this being a new 2017 model soundbar (HW-M550/ZA) it was unable to pair to my cable remote or the Xbox 1 but I eventually had to go to BestBuy and purchase a Harmony 650 Universal remote (Model: 915-000159/915-000160 SKU: 9837565) in order to pair this soundbar and the rest of my connected hookups. That did the trick. I just hate having four or more controllers laying around when I can just be using one.I guess if you’re connecting this soundbar to a samsung TV it is a no brainer but as I said in the beginning, I have a Sony. If you are a die hard Audiophile disregard this review because of course this soundbar is not for you. I’m not an audiophile. I like simplicity and decent sound. Other than that, this is a great item if you were researching for a new some what simple surround sound feel. This is a no regret purchase if you ask me. I hope this review helped.

The sound I'm getting is very good. My only complaint is that we need the volume almost set to maximum at all times.

This item is being used in the bedroom to augment the nearly non-existent LED TV speakers. My setup was easy, only using the Optical output from the TV directly into the speaker. The sound is a great improvement vs. just the TV speaker. Easy to adjust with the included remote. The only thing I didn't care for was the wall mount bracket system which don't seem to be very sturdy and are somewhat difficult to get level. Overall I'm pleased with the sound quality and look.

Bought this after reading the different reviews and comparing to higher priced models. I doubt they can do much better than this soundbar. Fills the room with sound. It's excellent

I have to be honest. I really wanted the Bose system but for the size room I could not justify the spending. This system is surprisingly good much better than I expected.

I enjoy watching movies at home, and for the price this a a nice improvement from just the TV. You can tell the difference in the audio. Is not a full blown home theatre system, but for the price is worth it, and integrates nicely with the TV and BD player that is natural and simple to use.

Great sound with real deep bass and clear sound. Woofer easily hidden anywhere in room. Easy to set up.

I really like the feel of the Soundbar. It feels pretty full and solid, not like the light cheap plastic type. It looks nice, slim and fits perfect anywhere, and good for any size T.V. I mainly use it more for my music, because I already have a older 3.1 Bose (no bluetooth) for my T.V., but looks nice right next to each other (I can use it for both). Though you may have to figure out how to make the sound to your likings, which is a good thing. When I was playing Pandora on my cell phone using Bluetooth, I turned the Soundbar volume up to max (WTH??), I was disappointed at first because I thought that something was wrong with the system, then I had to be patient enough to figure out what to do. I then realized that I had to turn up the music volume on my cell phone which turned the volume "way up" on the Soundbar (nice), NOW I could turn the volume down on the Soundbar. It took a moment to think of how to make things work better in order for the Soundbar to work the way it should, although the bass could have more BOOM, I know I can make it BOOM more, I'll just keep researching, it's out there. Sometimes It may not be as easy as just "plug in & play" for some, just take a moment to figure things out or Google it, it's easier to figure it out completely instead of just giving up and returning it, it's up to you. All in all, it's a great product!

great price for the sound bar and woofer, it makes a big difference from the TV speaker.

We ditched our wired surround sound system for this to have a cleaner, wireless look. The system paired easily and quickly with our Samsung KS8000 TV. The audio, especially dialogue, is much easier to hear than with our previous system. During setup, I put on an action movie to hear how the subwoofer peformed. The low end was excellent. There are controls to tweak individually plus presets for different applications (standard, sports, movie, music, etc). We bought the matching rear surround set on the same purchase. Very happy with this system.

The system was easy to setup and sounds great. I wish there wa more bass but that is a personal item as other in the house say it sounds great.

Sound quality amazing. Doesn’t work with my 4K Samsung TVs hdmi arc output so had to use the Bluetooth. 2 weeks later the sound flat out quit. They exchanged it. New one still doesn’t work with hdmi arc. Suspect a problem with my 1 year old Samsung TVs one connect box. 1st tv didn’t work right out of the box. Had to take it back also. A little disappointed in Samsung but sound is impressive. Ne

I got this as an open box special. It was delivered with my 65" Sony 4K TV. I am very pleased with the sound and and operation. I would love to program this remote through my Comcast remote but I have the old version so Geek Squad advised me to call Comcast to get the box upgraded. I will be doing that and then programming the new remote to control all items in lieu of buying a universal remote.

This Samsung sound bar with sub wuffer and the optional rear speakers sounds great and was easy to set up and I’m not a techie. Great value.
