The Samsung 3.1 sound bar was easy to connect with my Samsung 55" HDTV. I used the ARC connection setup. The wireless subwoofer connected without any problems. I found the base to be deep with the sound bar providing clear voice dialog.

Bought this for my husband's birthday as he is getting hard of hearing. Loving it! Definitely enriches the sound and allows a lower volume which I appreciate.

I bought this with a Samsung TV knowing the TV sound would be poor. I went with this model as it features an additional channel for clear voice audio which is important to me. The unit is discrete. The connection to the subwoofer worked first time. An unexpected bonus was that it connected to the TV using Bluetooth so no wires required. Only disappointment at the moment is that the TV control does not turn the sound bar on at the same time as the TV so you need to use both remotes. You can adjust the volume etc from the TV remote once the bar is turned on. Other than that, lovely clear sound. Several inputs so you can add other devices. I live in an apartment so have not ramped the volume up high or really pushed the woofer at the moment but from what I heard instore I am sure I will not be disappointed.

Great savings for this Samsung Soundbar. $100 savings from list price as it was an open box special. Good clarity for voice but still not sure about the bass from the sub woofer. Maybe I’m not familiar with these products -‘first one I’ve purchased- but the bass doesn’t overwhelm. Ok to set up. Could have been explained better- very limited instructions. We kind of lucked into it

It was a bit pricey for a sound bar set up, but It sounds great for a 3.1 channel sound bar and the 7" sub really makes a difference. The sub can be louder at instances when music comes on. It's not an issue. Great quality overall.

We are very happy with the product. The sound is very clear and it works great with online music playing through Bluetooth. Great when hosting parties.

This sound bar is great, it help with having quality sound with out having the tv up 70. Only compliant is hard to get the surround sound to hook up.

This sound bar delivered awesome sound very clear perfect match for Samsung television but you must also by the Bluetooth speakers Mini speakers to turn this into a 5.1 I recommend this for anyone with a Samsung television

I recently purchased a Samsung 49MU800D from Costco(sorry BB). This soundbar sounds great with the TV. It was super easy to pair with it. And I do recommend getting the SWA-8500 rear speakers for the bar. I love streaming music from my phone through the system. It sounds awesome. I'm not going to knock it down a star, because not everyone has the same TV as me. But the only thing that I do not like, is the remote. Because it is identical to the remote for the TV. The buttons are labeled different, but in the same locations. So it easy to grab the wrong one. They should have at least made it a different color. You can control the volume for the soundbar from the TV remote. But not the settings for it. Thats my only minor gripe. I do recommend this.

It is a nice looking soundbar. It sounds good too. Since this is my first soundbar, I don't know if its quality is the best comparing to others.

flat screens don't have the room for good speakers, adding this sound bar makes a huge difference. the 3rd channel is worth the extra money

I wanted a Sound Bar that offered more than two channels, i.e., only left/right channels. 3.1 offers center channel and sub-woofer. It’s easy to install and I bought a rocket mounting kit to install it directly below the TV. When I turned it on, I immediately noticed the big difference between 2 channel versus 3 channel. The 3 channel fills the hole in the middle of 2 channel. With the remote, you can select various sound modes, such as Standard, Clear, Movies, etc. You can set sub-woofer level and select surround sound...but you need to purchase the rear speaker system to have surround sound. It’s easy to install. Even though I purchased a top-of-the-line TV, the soundbar is much better than the TV speakers on the TV.

I read some of the other reviews before purchased, but have no issues....sounds great, so does the sub...i also added the surround speakers. Great purchase to downgrade from my bulky 5.1 received and speakers

I had a hard time setting this up so I called Samsung. He had me use a pen to reset the back of the sub woofer then told me to use the volume on the remote control and push down. It would come up as Shop1 and that is not what is suppose to happen. He had me do this several times then told me to take it back to Best Buy which was a big inconvenience since I had it shipped to me because my car is too small to fit the box in. I return it to Best buy they check it out and said the subwoofer is not working so they give me a new one. I get home after having to cut the box apart in the parking lot to get it in my car and the same problem happens again. So I kept messing with it and figured out the problem. On the remote you can push the volume up, in the middle, or down. So instead of pushing the volume down I should have been pushing it in the middle then it worked. I can't believe the guy at Samsung didn't know that pushing the volume down and the shop1 code meant I was pushing it in the wrong place and the fact that the geek squad could't figure out that it was working fine if it was set up right. I am glad everything is working now. When the sound bar is on D.I.N. you can hear the difference in the sound. It also connects with Alexa for a better speaker sound.

The sound on this unit is crystal clear and sounds great. My only problem was that it just wasn't loud enough for the size of my living room. If you're in a smaller apartment or if this is for a master bedroom then you will not be disappointed but if you're in a large open concept type of room then you will need something with a few more watts

Good quality sound it went great with my tv. Its has 3.1 channel to configure to your own liking. It has Surround, vocals, or music. Also you can pair by bluetooth too in case you want use to your phone.

I purchased this sound bar for its Bluetooth connectivity and for compatibility with my 2013 Samsung UN46EH5000 TV. It was easy to set up - I opened the box, plugged in the bar and the wireless sub-woofer paired instantly. All of my IOS devices connected easily via Bluetooth. I don't currently have any Android devices to test the Bluetooth with, but I would assume they connect well also. I connected it to the TV using the supplied optical audio cable (TOS Link) and this allows me to control volume settings with the Xfinity cable remote. This sound bar comes with its own remote but I only need it to put the bar into Bluetooth mode. When using it with the TV, the sound quality is good and a significant improvement over the speakers that are built-in to the TV. I think the sound is even better when playing music through the Bluetooth option. I added the wireless Samsung surround speakers (SWA-8500S) but I honestly don't see any improvement in sound quality from using those, so I would save your money on that add-on. Overall I am happy with the purchase. Best Buy delivered it promptly and they had the lowest price I found anywhere and an easy online purchase experience.

Purchased at store associate's recommendation Great sound. Can bring just the bar outside, in garage, etc when I want portable and great WiFi speaker. Worked overseas for years, and needed home entertainment, local HDTV, WiFi modem/router, and speaker system, stand, etc. Nice theater sound in my man cave basement for the price Received excellent store associate advice, procuring a system that will be great for years to come.

This is an inexpensive alternate to the Bose. The sound is clear and boisterous . It’s a great buy and compliments our 4K TV.
