Modern, large, flat screen TVs generally have poor sound out of the box. Okay, but certainly not good enough to watch a movie and "feel" the sound. Hence external speakers. Buying the same make as your TV means one less remote lying around. The 3.1 set up generates really great sound without going to the effort of running wires for a 5.1 or 7.1 sound system (which keeps the wife happy too). The subwoofer connects via wireless to the soundbar. A very good set up.

I'ver always had a receiver with speakers for my music. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the sound coming from the sound bar was excellent and I rid myself of the receiver and speakers

First sound bar so I cannot make a comparison. Overall, I think it is a good entertainment system for the money. Easy setup

Bought as a gift for a medium sized living room, fills the room with plenty to spare! Should have bought 2 at that price. They (& I) Love it.

Easy to set up with a clean sound and it integrates into the Samsung product line. Volumn and base easily controllable.

This sound bar was easy to set up with smart tv. Not as good as our old surround sound, but sure takes up less space!!

The Samsung sound bars have really taken it up a notch this past year. We are thrilled with the purchase and sound quality. With the 3.1 the dialogue is nice and clear especially in the louder action films. It does a great job of distributing the sound through the 3 separate speakers and added subwoofer.

Soundbar was easy to install. Initially had trouble syncing sound with HDMI. Sound quality is Great in our movie room

I picked this up because I purchased a Samsung TV and wanted the seamless integration that comes with same brand. That is exactly what it does and it works pretty well for the price point. It will get LOUD and will do great on movies. Some TV shows struggle, but I really think that may be on the channels end not the soundbar. Listening to Pandora or watching YouTube 4K is great!

For the money and sound quality this bar system is awesome. Totally elevates the sound vs the TV speakers. Worth it. But do not use if you want a home theater surround sound system.

This is the second sound bar I have owned and I have to admit that this one is far superior to the last one.

This soundbar has great sound. also has the option to add rear speakers for even better sound.

Definitely enhances the TV sound. Big difference in sound quality. Connected to TV via optical cable. Great for everyday use. Easy to set up and can even play audio directly from the phone through Bluetooth. Don't expect professional sound or adjustments. Better than a basic system though.

Great low profile bar and wireless sub. Paired this with a Samsung TV and the compatibility is outstanding for controlling volume, etc. Sub was super easy to pair and small enough to conceal under a coffee table so you really don't even know it's there. Great value for the price. Remove looks almost identical to the Samsung TV remote - not sure if that is a pro or a con. Included digital/optical cable was a bonus.

IT IS A GOOD QUALITY AND SOUND. WHEN I TURN UP VOLUME IT REALLY SOUND LIKE YOU ARE IN THEATER, GREAT BUY.
