This is a really great soundbar. I got this as an 'open box' item, always a little hesitant to do that, but it was in excellent condition. Looked as if it was barely taken out of the box. Installation was a breeze with the included instructions. Hooked it up to my Samsung TV (my older tv doesnt support bluetooth connection). The optical cable isnt included, but I had an extra one. Sound quality is fantastic in a large room. Wireless woofer really makes a huge difference. Can't tell where the bass is coming from, even when put off into a side corner out of the way. This was important for me. The center channel is superb, crisp and clear, and the different sound modes make a difference depending on what kind of media you are listening to (music, movies, etc). With a fully adjustable EQ and sound delay, this was one of the best purchases I've made all year to upgrade from the garbage speakers that are included on any flat panel these days.

I had an older Bose 3.1 satellite and sub-woofer that lost it's ability to have remote control. I replaced it with this Samsung 3.1. Had recently purchased a 55" Samsung 4K for media room. With the walnut entertainment center I have; I did not want anything to stand out too significantly with decor. This Samsung product pairs well with Samsung screen aestically and the sound is great for the 18'x18' room. The settings for the 3.1 are easy to access and blue tooth is remarkable easy to pair. I am using the wireless configuration with no issues whatsoever. Very clean looking and well performing unit. I looked at the entire range of sound bar applications at the local Best Buy store and choose this unit without consideration of price. Recommended.

Really like the three channel sound bar and it packs a punch. Good clear tones, dialog is clear and the subwoofer brings the home theater experience to my den. I would certainly recommend this option for those of us that want some quality sound at a very reasonable price point.

For the price, this soundbar is great product. It sounds much better than the TVs built-in speakers, and since it's 3.1 (with a center channel) dialog comes through much more clearly than just having stereo speakers. This soundbar definitely won't be mistaken for a full home theater system, but it's also costs a lot less than having to buy a receiver, speakers, and sub. It fits perfectly underneath my 55" KS5000 series TV. My only complaint is that while using my TV's remote to turn off my TV will also turn off the soundbar, turning on the TV does not turn on the soundbar. Maybe I'm missing something, and I haven't called Samsung to ask, but I've looked all over my TV's and remote's settings and I can't find any way for the TV to automatically turn on the soundbar.

I purchased this to go with a new TV. It is compact and easily set up but delivers great sound. I had a system that was maybe 12 years old and this one is much easier to set up, to use and much more compact. BUT it still delivers great sound. We use it all the time when watching TV.

The Best Buy salesperson was a great help, he le me listen to several sound bars and after hearing them all I decided on the Samsung because of it sound. They did not have one in stock so I had to order it. When it showed up it was very easy to set up and sounds great.

This Sound bar is about what I expected at this price point. It's not going to take the place of a dedicated surround sound system, but it definitely delivers a fuller sound than the tv speakers. The base is just enough for me, but does have the ability to further turn up the sub if more bass is desired. I like the extra speakers in the sound bar the allow for the dedicated center channel. I initially coined red this to my Samsung tv using the HDMI ARC functionality but found the volume between sources carried a little too much for my taste and it did not consistently turn on automatically when powering on the tv (usually after longer periods of being off). In the end I connected it through the tv sound connect. The sound quality seems just a good through sound connect and the volume is more consistent between sources. It has also been more consistent to power on automatically with the tv remote. All in all, I am happy with this sound bar.

Great product. Easy to set up and the sound quality of the device is excellent. No problems to date. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a moderately priced sound bar.

I bought this to replace my stereo & speakers. It works great and the sound is great quality. The only issue I have is with my Sharp TV, it doesn't stay initialized and I have to go into the TV settings each time. Its a sharp issue (which I don't recommend ever buying).

This unit for the sale price $299.00 is excellent buy. The sound is real good for this price point. I have heard better but I did not want to pay three times price for it. Of course anything is better than then TV speakers. I like that it has blue tooth so I can play my iTunes. Go to a store for yourself an check it out, you well be surprised how good it sounds.

This 3.1 surround sound system is really great! The sound quality is amazing & setup was a breeze. When paired with the 2 rear satellite speakers (purchased separately) the 5.1 surround it offers is right up there with the higher end systems my friends all have.

Set up was easy and the sound bar sounds really good with Samsung Smart TV. Only complaint is that sometimes when pause live tv, the sound will be off compared to the visual on tv screen and you have to turn the sound bar completely off to reset it.

purchased Samsung 4k tv less than a year ago.sound was always so so, after setting up new soundbar made a world of difference .made such a big difference that I purchased the rear speakers a few days later to get the complete experience.very easy to set up.

This was a split decision purchase that I do not regret. The value of this item and the sound that it displays is amazing. It was very easy to set up, basically plug and play. The sound is clear with a little base to add for movies, sports, or gaming.

The sound quality is very good, not as good as my JBL but not as expensive either. The only con would be that it constantly turns itself on whenever my daughter comes near it with a Bluetooth device. Lots of pros, the style, sound quality and price.

I read several reviews before purchasing this product and they were mixed. I still purchased because of the excellent price. I think ultimately for the price it is a good product. Not top of the line for the expensive price tag but definitely not cheap.

Good sound and base. Easy to set up wireless connection with a Samsung TV. It sometimes looses the connection requiring separate power on and Bluetooth connection again. I.have not tried to set up with the optical connection to see if that is better?

sounds good for what we need it for. Don't turn up the sound loud anymore most of the time due to our daughter sleeping upstairs. You could add more speakers to make it sound awesome. But still works well alone. Great price for the sound.

Perfect match for the 55" 4K Samsung TV. Recommend using HDMI connection. The Bluetooth and Optical digital inputs introduce minor delay with picture sync. Bar sounds full & rich and sub provides balanced low end at low to moderately loud levels.

Love this soundbar! Great sound! Using this to replace an old Bose system that wasn't compatible with HDMI. The sound is as good, if not better. Very easy to set up with a new Samsung TV. The price was excellent. Could not ask for a better value!
