This soundbar system sounds great. I am in a room where I can't have any rear speakers and the surround feature sounds really good by itself. The subwoofer has a nice kick, if you want it to. If you have a Samsung TV and connect it with HDMI ARC, the system integrates seamlessly. The TV remote will control the volume and power of the soundbar and the volume level shows on the TV screen. Make sure to look for open box offerings. I was able to find one listed in excellent condition and save $110 from the new price.

First off. I gta say. I have never heard a TV that sounds good. These super thin televisions are not designed to house speakers. Soundbars are much a necessity for anyone looking to get a little volume and some bass to bring ur movies and video games to life. Anyways I was on the hunt for a decent soundbar at good price I could throw in the bedroom. I ended up getting this item on sale for $160 which was a good buy for a entry level soundbar or so it seemed. If ur considering buying this soundbar at full price. DONT!! If ur Gna spend that kind of money, do urself a favor and wait for a sale. Best Buy rotates all kinds of products through deal of the day and they have sales quite often too. I didn’t like that T6 is is only 3.1 but I wasn’t getting any better on my $200 cap anyways. But it was a good sale price and it had ARC so I took it. What I feel like everyone should know is that I hooked this thing up PlayStation through the other HDMI input on the soundbar. I went it to the video output settings on the PS4 and it told me that my device didn’t support 4K and HDR among other things. It topped out at 1080 and it wouldn’t even allow me to change anything else. In short, I ended up having to plug the PS into the TV directly to get the 4K and HDR to work. The soundbar does not have 4K pass through or HDR support. To me, this is a big thumbs down for any soundbar considering 4K is pretty much the norm these days. It doesn’t even make sense to me why they’re still selling them. But it does sound pretty good for a small room. Overall I give it 3-1/2stars. 2 1/2 stars for the product and 1 because it’s Samsung.

Great sound and very easy set up. The BT didn't work so had to use the wire but not a big deal. If you are getting a big screen tv you need quality sound.

The sound bar produces a nice, rich sound and looks nice on a TV stand. My only complaint so far is the remote control. It does not light up so you can't see any buttons if you are watching TV at night/in the dark. It also has unique buttons that do not show up on a Samsung TV remote (newer versions) so you need to use both to change channels or apps (TV remote) and mute sound (soundbar remote) for example. I do not play video games so I can't speak to that experience.

I got this for the bedroom. My son’s Xbox One X is connected to the TV and Soundbar, the sound the bar puts out is really nice. The large sub produces GREAT bass accentuated by the smaller space, I can’t speak on what this sounds like in a large room, however. If you’re looking to get this for a moderate sized living room, or bedroom, or even a game room you can’t go wrong with this Soundbar. 3.1 is really dope, too, dialogue and sound is separated so you get clear screams, call outs while explosions, or guns are firing hot.

The sound bar and subwoofer are great. They provide an excellent sound experience for our samsung TV. The only issue I have with them is that unless you use the soundbar remote to change the volume you get an annoying on screen message stating to use the soundbar remote to change the volume. For example, when using the DirecTV remote which will change the volume on the soundbar the message pops up for about 30 sec without a way to turn it off.

Unless you have a huge family/living room, this is all you need. Especially in the case of volume and bass. It's plenty loud and booming. The surround sound is decent for doing it from a single soundbar. If it's a bigger room or you're really serious about surround sound, they offer a wireless rear speaker set you can buy separately. But if you want the best surround sound because you watch a lot of movies, I'd suggest spending more money and get one of Samsung's higher end soundbar setups.

Very good for smaller rooms! I purchased this and gifted it to my not so tech savvy father and he thoroughly enjoys it! He recently purchased a samsung tv so I thought it would be best to pair with a samsung soundbar. Voices are very clear, bass is pretty good for movies, and its pretty easy to operate. Just 4 starts because it was pricier than competing soundbars which have similar features. Buy it if it goes on sale!

Have a Samsung TV that has pretty good speakers but the speakers are rear facing which makes it difficult to hear speech at times. So decided to invest in a sound bar to be get better sound. I almost made the mistake of getting a 2 channel vs 3 channel. If you want to here voices better, do the research and invest in a 3 channel. This bar is very good for that. Great clear sound comes through. Be warned that the subwoofer handles bass very well. IF you live somewhere with a shared wall with neighbors, may want to get one something with lower watts or not connect the subwoofer. A good feature with this bar is the remote has a separate control for the subwoofer vs the regular volume so you can turn it down separately if neighbors complain. I like to be respectful and not have the walls shaking before 10am or after 11pm because of the subwoofer but still want the clarity of the speech so that has been a challenge in finding the balance. Not sure you can turn on/of subwoofer with the remote. Only complaint is the volume doesn't stay consistent between channels: I have turn up or down to hear speech. But that may be a function of the channel vs. the bar

I was impressed that there's several connectivity methods for the soundbar (HDMI, optical, bluetooth), it sounds decent and does exactly what it's supposed to do, it was also very easy to set up. It definitely doesn't sound as good as my other home theater setup (Denon receiver, surround sound with Paradigm speakers), but I also didn't expect it to, it's also maybe 1/10th of the cost of home theater setup.

This sound bar is ray to use, sounds great, and is a good value. It is used for tv, music, and gaming and performs well in all aspects. The subwoofer also produces good bass. Additionally, the system pars really easily with remotes from the cable/satellite company. The only issue is that when you use it for gaming, it does not automatically switch back to original setting when you switch back to tv.

This sound bar is phenomenal. Cost was minimal, the set up was so simple a child could do it (once you get it out of the box) sound is great, night and day difference when watching movies. I also like that you can connect your tablet or phone for music when you need motivation to clean your house. (Disclaimer i have a Samsung TV so that may or may not increase the sound quality since I use the optical cord hooked to the tv)

I read a lot of reviews on this setup for my home entertainment system. Some raved, others not so much. I decided to take all of that with a grain of salt. Besides, I knew I could return the system and either get a refund or use the original purchase price to upgrade. After getting everything setup, I found I had a few communication problems that for some reason resolved themselves with just simple power down and power up to get clear signals. No, the speakers aren't completely wireless, but what few wires there are, I can deal with them. I tested the system with my DVD player with selections from Lord of the Rings and selected sceans from various Star Wars DVD's. I have carpet in my living room where I have this system. The bass speaker is placed on the floor a couple of feet from where I sit in a rocking chair. The other remote speakers are on a bookshelf about 4 feet above the bass speaker. When a Starship Destroyer came overhead, I swear I could feel the floor vibrating. I touched the windows in the same room, and they too were vibrating. I did not have the volume turned all the way up because my hearing couldn't stand that. I have never had the first thought of returning these speakers. I'm of the inclination, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". These speakers are staying with me for as long as they can. I really do like them. Oh, yeah. They do a fine job of faking my Dachshund out. He really thinks there are other animals living with us now.

Using the optical cable hook up into my Samsung 55" Q60 OLED TV which recognizes the 3.1 Soundbar without going into the TV sound settings. Sound is slightly better than my previous el-cheapo $119 42" soundbar which was 2.1 audio. But the TV and soundbar volume control is incompatible with the volume control after pairing my blue tooth headphones to the TV. So, if I don't remember to set the TV/soundbar volume to "zero", the control only will adjust the TV speakers, but not the soundbar. Weird. The el cheapo soundbar, model not recognized by the TV, would not have that behavior. As a fix, I tried pairing the soundbar remote control to the TV but the 2 year old Q60 software does not have this model in their system, so can't pair the soundbar control with the TV. If the bluetooth headphones are not connected to the TV, everything works OK, however. Just have to remember to set volume to "zero" before bluetooth connection is made. Wish there was a "steady sound" setting on the soundbar, which auto adjusts volume for dialog and music. My el-chepo soundbar had this feature! But soundbar is clearer than old soundbar, so am happy, just not as happy as I thought I might be. Subwoofer is very good, but I have turned it way way down for neighbors.

The sound is much better than the TV alone. There are several ways to connect this to the TV. The manual describes the connections but could be more informative about the best way. I had hoped I could use just one remote, but my Samsung TV remote does not control the soundbar.

Good sound quality and the bass sounds great. It definitely gets loud and enhances everything you are watching or playing. It looks slick and the remote is great. However I was super disappointed after spending so much money on this to find out it doesn’t support 4K HDR. For example I pass through my Xbox Series X into the sound bar and then into the TV so there is no audio delay. I lose all 4K capability by doing so. In order to keep the 4K quality I need to plug the Xbox directly into the TV and then connect the TV to the sound bar. This annoyingly creates an audio delay when using the Xbox for gaming or streaming shows. I wish I had found this out in my research of the item beforehand. I would say do your research for what you are trying to do with your sound bar. If you just want to enhance TV sound and stream directly from your smart TV this would be a good option. However if you’re a gamer I would look elsewhere. At least currently it seems like their are better options out there and for better prices.
