I paid extra to get a digital cable since I read that is the best way to set up with Samsung TV. MY BIGGEST issue with the product is that as great as it is that your volume for your TV and Sound Bar can be controlled both at the same time with one remote wether its the Samsung remote, Xfinity remote or universal remotes the issue is the sound delay that is extremely hard to get rid off I even had a Samsung tech come out, but he couldn't fix it. So since the soundbar has better HD sound I have to manually turn the volume on the TV ALL the WAY DOWN to only hear from the SoundBar. I truly believe Samsung can fix this issue easily yet no developments yet

Thank you for your review of the Samsung HW-MS6500 Audio Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you had some control issues with this soundbar.
Please know that the soundbar would be able to be controlled with your TV remote if:
a) It is connected to the TV via HDMI ARC or
b) It is connected wirelessly to the TV via Bluetooth
However, neither of these solutions is possible if you are trying to connect it to TV's that do not have Bluetooth option or HDMI via ARC.

Only problem is integration with Samsung TV;s via audio cable - where there is no way to control the speaker with the Samsung remote. Means you have to have two remotes always to hand.
