But it lacks in all the areas that are most important. First. It’s really powerful. It will overcook everything we cook, so you have to cut cook time by ten minutes. But here is where I am really disappointed. The day before Thanksgiving, we made a pecan pie that overflowed and stuck to the bottom of the oven. I cleaned what I could with a sponge and decided to use the self-clean mode. I set the self-clean for three hours. As with all ovens, self-clean locks the door during cleaning mode. I went to bed. Thanksgiving morning I woke up and the oven was completely turned off...no power and the door is stuck in locked mode. I checked the breakers and per Samsung instructions, left the breaker off for 60 seconds. The oven is still dead. Apparently, there is a fuse in the back of the oven that trips if the oven gets too hot. Because this is a built in wall oven, the oven mounting screws are inside the oven door. If the door is locked, and the oven has a mechanism to power itself off if it gets too hot, then you can’t troubleshoot anything. So it’s Thanksgiving. We have no oven and Samsung customer care is closed in observance of the holiday. My only option was to text with someone presumably in India who literally was giving me directions like “please provide the serial number on the chassis of the warming drawer”. It’s a double oven with no warming drawer.

Maybe it is a defect/lemon, but Best Buy has been an absolute nightmare at working with us on getting a replacement. Not only will I never buy another appliance by Samsung, I will never purchase from Best Buy again.

Died after using self clean option

We ran the self clean option, and the oven overheated, turned off, and both doors are locked. Best buy customer service is TERRIBLE, as is samsungs. Samsung knows this product is a piece of garbage and is still selling it. DO NOT buy this oven, you will regret it.
