    anytime you try to wipe the top off or clean it or when you cook (boil water even!) if ANY thing gets on the cooktop it shuts off!

    Don’t by samsung electric cooktop

    I had a new one installed in October 21. It has not been working well as the machine turns itself off randomly during normal cooking and the temperature would change by itself and i have a video that proves that. I called samsung and told them that’s a security issue and they don’t care if my house have a fire.samsung don’t want to change the cooktop for another model.This is the quality of Samsung, surprised?

    Touch controls and magnetic knob were very difficult to use. You had to move the touch control multiple times to get it to high, and the magnetic knob was very similar. Too easy to mistakenly turn.

    Cooktop is slow to heat. Touch pad locks up.

    This unit is slow to bring things to a boil. Design should've been with 4 eyes with larger elements. Touch pad is ultra sensitive. Unit easy to lock up. Would take it back if we could.

    This thing is a total pain in the neck to use and clean. You’re much better off with a physical knob instead of the touch knobs.

    While the features(on website) say “yes” to induction it is not. While it’s very nice we were looking to change to induction. Now we have to start all over again and wait another 20 days for delivery.

    Excellent cook top. Beyond Love the safety lock my shepard cannot turn the stove on while i am Gone and I love being able to turn off and adjust from phone. Very happy with purchase.

    Bought in 2021 and got 5 year geeksquad warranty on top. Had on an off issues but I ignored to complain until it got a thin long crack on its own while i was boiling pasta. Called bestbuy to get help but was disgusted by the geeksquad team. They said they wont replace or repair. First told me tht they will charge me for the visit. Later i found out it should be covered with the warranty. Geek squad sucks, fraud.

    Turns off too much

    I initially enjoyed it but now after 2 years a burner busted and it is costing $500 to fix it. Also, it turns off too much in the middle off cooking even if 1 drop of water hits the knob section. It shoyldnt be rhat sensitive plus sometimes i have to reset my breaker box cuz the darn thing won’t turn on

    We have had this cooktop for 2 years and have decided to by another one. This guy is so terribly slow to heat up but when it’s hot it takes forever for it cool down. You need to crank it up to max to get it going and then it will never cool down. Don’t repeat my mistake, get something else. On the positive side it looks good and the touch functionality is great.
