||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this oven less than 6 months ago and yesterday it would not turn on and displayed a C-A2 error code. I did some research and found it means the cooling motor is operating abnormally. This might also explain why the broiler element started getting too hot about 2 weeks ago. After only about a minute, my salmon that I was broiling was literally on fire. I had the oven light on and was watching it through the window or it could have been a disaster. I tried once again 2 days later and this time I moved the rack to the middle of the oven with the same results. I also purchased a Samsung refrigerator at the same time and have already had to have the ice maker replaced and found there is a class action suit pending on the refrigerator (which I joined) because it freezes over and won't dispense ice. I'll NEVER purchase another Samsung appliance. I trusted purchaser reviews and even Consumer Reports gave it a favorable review. Clearly they didn't test it for a long enough period. The reviews on Consumer Affairs site for Samsung tell the real story. Majority of 1 star reviews. Wish I had seen this site before I purchased. The consensus seems to be if you haven't had problems, just give it time because you eventually will. What good is a shiny new appliance if it doesn't work? I plan on going back to GE which never gave me the major problems I have experienced with not 1 but 2 different appliances by Samsung. They should stick to making televisions because they clearly don't know anything about making an appliance. NEVER AGAIN!

No display and no power. Over 1 month later, we are still trying to get a working oven. Do not buy! We looked up this oven after this happened and it seems to be a common issue.

The cooktop is the only one that hasn't had major issues. This oven will not heat to the correct temperature. It is often off by up to 75 degrees F. Additionally, it won't hold a temperature either. Temperature in the oven will drop and it won't heat it back up without setting the temperature again. I've had this serviced three times, replacing every possible part involved and it still has these issues. Just avoid samsung. They look nice but don't work well.
